Mike Doyle, the HCDP Chairman, and Cindy Siegel, the HCRP Chairman, are Facing a Serious Voter Engagement Problem

Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth (center) is doing a fantastic job for the citizens of Harris County, Texas. According to Hudspeth, on Monday, April 22, 2024, only 1,288 in-person votes were cast countywide, but her office received an astonishing 10,857 absentee mail ballots. The (HCDP) Harris County Democratic Party Chairman Mike Doyle failed miserably in his quest to turn out Democratic voters on "DAY ONE" of early voting. As for Cindy Siegel, the (HCRP) Harris County Republican Party Chairman, she also has a severe engagement problem.  You can "CLICK HERE" to view our "OFFICIAL ENDORSEMENTS" for the upcoming Saturday, May 4, 2024, Uniform and Special Election, and the upcoming Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Democratic Party Primary "RUNOFF" and Republican Party Primary "RUNOFF" elections taking place in Harris County, Texas.

Mike Doyle, the HCDP Chairman, and Cindy Siegel, the HCRP Chairman, are Facing a Serious Voter Engagement Problem

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

There’s no way to sugarcoat what went down yesterday, on the first day of “EARLY VOTING” in Harris County, Texas. To put it bluntly, Cindy Siegel, the Chairman of the Harris County Republican Party, and Mike Doyle, the Chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party, have a serious “ENGAGEMENT PROBLEM” on their hands in Harris County, Texas.

Every candidate running for office in the fall should pay close attention to what’s going on regarding engagement, whereas Saturday, May 4, 2024, Unform and Special Election is concerned. The upcoming Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Democratic Party Primary also bears watching very closely.

I’m not dispatching my investigative team to comb through those 10,857 absentee mail ballots that flooded the Harris County Clerk’s Office yesterday.

Nope – that’s none of my business.

However, with today (Tuesday, April 23, 2024) being the last day that an “ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOT” can be requested, it’s still possible that the in-person voting could pick up between today and the last day of “EARLY VOTING,” which is Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

You need to know that, according to the MIT Election Data & Science Lab, fraud seems to occur more often with mailed-in votes than with in-person voting.

Did you hear me? More fraud occurs with absentee mail ballots than when voters go to the polls to vote. That said, just yesterday, the United States Supreme Court rejected a challenge to voting rules that allow senior citizens to vote absentee, but not younger people.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

Both major political parties appear to be playing ball in the “NON-PARTISAN” HCAD Board races. Still, looking at the dismal turnout from “DAY ONE” of the “EARLY VOTING” cycle, Cindy Siegel, the Chairman of the Harris County Republican Party, and Mike Doyle, the Chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party, failed miserably yesterday.

“The HCDP is out in force to secure victory in this election, with twenty members of our paid canvassing team out talking to voters…” said an email sent out by Mike Doyle, the Chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party, yesterday.

Mike Doyle’s email also asked for donations to keep his team block-walking and knocking on doors.

Among registered voters in Harris County, Texas, only 1,288 voters cast ballots in person on “DAY ONE,” and Doyle and Siegel face major voter engagement issues in the future. That said, Mike Doyle and Cindy Siegel faced severe challenges as they tried to inspire their party faithful to roll to the polls.
