Electing the Right Civil Court Judges in the Upcoming 2022 Midterm Elections in Harris County, Texas is Vitally Important

All of these Democratic Civil Judges will be up for re-election in the 2022 Midterm Elections. Judge Latosha Lewis Payne, Judge Cory Sepolio, Judge Christine Weems, Judge Lauren Reeder, Judge Tanya Garrison, Judge Scot "dolli" Dollinger, Judge Beau Miller, Judge Donna Roth, Judge Rabeea Collier, and Judge Dedra Davis. As it stands right now, the "NON-PARTISAN" Houston Business Connections Newspaper© "ENDORSEMENT BOARD" is evaluating the job performances of all (10) ten of these sitting Democratic Civil Judges who are up for re-election. We will not be intimidated, deterred or dismayed by the economic boycott that has been launched against us by a gay Democratic Party volunteer by the name of (Erik Manning) aimed at censoring us and crippling our ability to exercise our First Amendment Right to freedom of speech, and freedom of the press.

Money Over Public Safety: Electing the Right Judges Imperative in the 2022 Midterm Elections

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

The report below published below is a part of my effort to give the readers of Houston Business Connections Newspaper©, an inside look at what’s happening inside Harris County, Texas courtrooms. But before I get to the report, I would like to make you aware of the fact that, this gay white guy (who is a volunteer with the Harris County Democratic Party) by the name Erik Manning has launched a campaign against my newspaper. This Erik Manning dude is married to another man by the name of Adrian Ozuna. He’s also, the treasurer of the Southwest Democrats from what I understand. Make no mistake about it, his efforts, along with other Democrats who are assisting him, are intended to stop me from reporting on election fraud, and biased rulings that are happening inside Harris County, Texas courtrooms. He and other Democrats have already started to pick up the phone and call local elected officials to request that they no longer support the newspaper that I have spent my entire adult life building. The only question now, is how many sitting judges in Harris County, Texas are going to go along with the plot to destroy my business that’s been launched by Erik Manning, and several of his Democratic cohorts. Now, for the record, my newspaper is non-partisan. So, I have a duty to promote my Republican and Democratic clients. I have a duty to make sure that our elections in Harris County, Texas are fair for all of my clients. I plan to make sure that my Republican and Democratic clients get a fair shot to win their elections guys. My 2018 Midterm Election Guide received the support of (33) Democrats candidates, and (26) Republican candidates running for office in Harris County, Texas. And my 2022 Midterm Election Guide is going to be even bigger – click here to view!

Are Local Civil Judges Enabling Large Companies Like JGI Outdoor to Put Money Over Safety in Harris County?

HBC NEWSPAPER REPORTS©

On the same property where 5 Houston Firefighters lost their lives on Houston’s Darkest Day --safety issues are firing up again.

Listen up -- JGI Outdoor Advertising owns a billboard with some questionable wiring attached to it located on this property. The Houston Fire Department records show they were called to the property to address a live electrical wire that had become disconnected.

According to HPD records an employee of the current owner of the property was electrocuted in early February of this year, yet as late as March 18th 2021 JGI Outdoor was unaware of the live wire causing the dangerous situation. Absentee ownership is a huge problem where large corporations put profits over safety. These large companies have a duty to maintain these behemoth signs in a manner which is safe, but apparently they don’t have time.

Parties have taken action in Cause No. 202115418 that’s currently working its way through 295th Civil District Court, that’s presided over by Judge Donna Roth who is up for re-election in the 2022 Midterm Elections.

In speaking with one of the owners of the property, multiple attempts have been made to speak with John Gannon for years to discuss the unsafe manner in which the wires crossed the property. Those attempts have fallen on deaf ears with answers such as “Mr. Gannon is out of the country on vacation”, or “I’ll put it on Mr. Gannon’s desk.”

It seems as if JGI may not care about the safety concerns of others.

A new residential development is being built on the property and this sort of questionable practice is just unacceptable.

A check of Harris County Clerk records shows no recorded Overhead Utility Easements granted to JGI Outdoor Advertising. Yet, there were multiple unsafe wires running over 200 feet to their billboard.

Apparently JGI’s wire which appears to have been held together with tape and wire nuts (normally used for indoor connections) is the same wire which once ran over the Southwest Inn Motel near the origin of the fire. You may remember the Southwest Inn Fire of 2013 in which four HFD Firefighters were lost that day, and one succumbed to injuries later.

Those brave firefighters who lost their lives that day were; Matthew Renaud, Robert Bebee, Robert Garner, Anne Sullivan, and later Captain “Iron Bill” Dowling.

At the time of this publication JGI is battling for their ability to replace the dangerous overhead wire once again. The same wire they failed to maintain, and laid on the ground for over 30 days causing eminent danger. JGI’s plans are akin to what standard operating procedures in a third world country.

Photos on JGI’s own website show a Gallery of billboards similar to the one located at the Southwest Inn Fire location, none of the billboards on JGI’s Gallery have overhead wires attached, All of them, that we can find, have an electrical meter on the sign itself, with the wires safely run underground.

When the next electrocution occurs, Harris County Judges will surely be listed as complicit in a wrongful death suit for allowing and promoting this life threatening activity.

3-19-2014 Southwest Sunrise contracted the purchase of 6855 Southwest Freeway.

7-16-2014 Southwest Sunrise brings suit against Criterium for Breach of Contract

11-4-2016 Criterium Systems, (former owner of 6855 Southwest Fwy) sued JGI over terms of Contract renewal. JGI renewed contract with Criterium although ownership was in question.

1-29-2019 Southwest Sunrise took possession of the property after a lengthy legal battle in court, where the current owner won specific performance of the 2014 purchase contract which included the lease with JGI.

What does this mean? JGI renewed a contract with the wrong party, and were aware of the ongoing battle for the ownership of the property on which they held a lease in an attempt to keep raking in the money from their Texas Lottery Commission contract.

In a series of TRO’s in Judge Christine Weems’ court, it appears she even chose money over safety when presented with the choice of allowing a live electrical wire to endanger the lives of workers versus JGI potentially losing an advertising contract.

Money over safety.

"For the life of me I cannot see how Judge Christine Weems, the Democrat currently presiding over the 281st Civil District Court did not realize that this powerline hanging from this billboard in Southwest Houston is a major problem. Apparently JGI’s wire which appears to have been held together with tape and wire nuts (normally used for indoor connections) is the same wire which once ran over the Southwest Inn Motel near the origin of the fire. "At this time, I am not sure what's going on with Judge Christine Weems. I am sure that she's a good person at heart. But I don't really know much about her on a personal level. However, I do know this -- Judge Christine Weems is a Democrat (Civil) District Judge who presides over the 281st Civil District Court in Harris County, Texas. I also know that she will be up for re-election in 2022. Now, in case you don't know, this bench will be on the ballot in the 2022 Gubernatorial Election in Harris County. But to earn the right to face off against her Republican challenger she' must win the Democratic nomination. So, please note that the deadline to file for a place on the Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Democratic Party ballot is on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00pm."

"I believe with all my heart that Judge Donna Roth is a good human being. Sure, she's a Democrat, but Judge Roth is not one of the judges who is attempting to legislate from the bench in Harris County, Texas. Nor is she someone who is afraid of the political party bosses. From what I can see Judge Donna Roth takes her oath of office seriously. For those of you who don't know, each justice or judge of the United States shall take the following oath or affirmation before performing the duties of his office: “I, ___ ___, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as ___ under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God."

However, if you know of any reason why we should not endorse Judge Roth in the 2022 Democratic Party Primary, please call Aubrey R. Following the American Dream

According to her website, Donna’s family background is a true American success story. Her grandparents arrived through Ellis Island in New York City from Ireland and Italy in the early 1900s.

Donna’s father was a mechanic, her mother a hairdresser and later a manicurist. Donna was the first in her family to obtain a high school diploma. However, there was no money for college. Donna went to work, full-time as a secretary, often working three jobs at a time to save her money to attend college. After six years she was able to quit working and enroll full-time at the local community college. Donna finished college graduating from St. John’s University in May, 1983.

Unable to afford to go directly to law school, Donna went back to full-time work and a second night job in order to save enough money for law school. In September 1984, after working one year, Donna was able to enroll at St. John’s University Law School, part-time, at night. Donna completed her law school education at South Texas College of Law in May 1987, graduating in the top 10 percent of her class. The oldest of 18 grandchildren, Donna is the first and only member in her family with a post graduate degree.

Donna began practicing law in September 1987 with a civil litigation firm in downtown Houston, becoming a partner at Thurlow, Roth and Garriga P.C. in January 1993. In July 1994, Donna started her own firm, Roth & Associates. Today Roth & Associates During her 30 years practicing law in Harris County, (edit) before becoming a judge she settled thousands of cases in mediation and through negotiation. (edit) Before ever becoming a judge, Donna already had first chair jury trial experience in exactly the types of cases that typically come before the 295th Civil District Court.

A Privilege to Serve

Backed by a belief that justice and fair play are the fundamental values of the United States and Texas Constitutions, (edit) Donna is expected to run for re-election as Judge of the 295th Civil District Court. “I believe in the rule of law and ensuring that each case which comes before the court is presided over with integrity, accountability and equality,” she says.

Donna believes in giving back to the community. (edit) Before taking bench Donna served as a moot court/mock trial judge for students at South Texas College of Law and provides pro bono legal services to abused women. She also volunteered for many years at JFK Elementary, mentoring weekly, 4th grade students, helping each student participate in mock trial at the civil courthouse in the presentation of "The Case of the Missing Cookies".

And to this end, I plan to do everything humanly possible to fight for my Republican and Democratic clients in the 2022 Midterm Elections because everyone running for office in 2022 deserves a fair chance to win their respective political contest. The 5 Star General Joins Aubrey R. Taylor Communications in Recognizing and  Saluting Democratic and Republican Women in Texas Politics

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I would like to take this moment to thank Gerry Wayne Monroe for finding value in supporting our "SISTERHOOD SERIES" movement. In case you don’t know him, Gerry Wayne Monroe “THE 5 STAR GENERAL” is a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas. ‘5 STAR’ was born and raised in the historic 3rd Ward in Houston, Texas. He graduated from high school back in 1986, from Jack Yates Sr. High School. For those of you who don’t know, ‘5 STAR’ is also a member of the 1985 Jack Yates Championship Football team. And get this, after a by chance meeting with investigative reporter Wayne Dolcefino, or what media mogul Oprah Winfrey calls an “AHAH MOMENT” he started Monroe Consultations. His firm specializes in Education advocacy and political consulting. And for the past 8 years Monroe has taken on well over 195 assignments, and (according to him) has solved every issue that he’s touched. “My specialty is holding elected officials accountable. And in accordance with my goal to do so, I recently went back to further my education in the area of Criminal Justice and recently graduated from Center Texas College,” he says. Thru his community and civic engagement, he's helped thousands of kids and community members regain the hope that they lost – I’ve seen this first hand.

The “Sisterhood Series” Features 70 Powerful Texas Women You Should Know Who Are Doing Their Own Thing

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I would like to take this moment to introduce our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” to you. This empowerment movement is being launched to highlight a few powerful Texas women who are doing their own thing in legal, political, and public relations fields throughout the Lone Star State. Now, while this powerful group of women is being brought to you as a corporate body, our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” should not be misconstrued as identity/gender politics in any way, shape, or form. Why? Well, all of the featured women in this series are (in their own unique way) some of the best and brightest women in America. So, recognizing these women as part of our SISTERHOOD SERIES” is our way of applauding each of them for their courage, tenacity, and ability to compete in what has traditionally been a man’s world.

TRUTH OF THE MATTER

If we’re honest with ourselves, we all know that women are still fighting an uphill battle in politics as well as inside boardrooms across America. So, let's not forget – it wasn’t long ago that women were guaranteed the right to vote. In case you don’t know, the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote was only the beginning of a much longer fight that women are continuing to fight on the campaign trail, in board rooms, and while living their everyday lives.

A VERY UNIQUE BOND

Each segment of our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” will highlight a “FEATURED SPONSOR” on the cover, and sixty-nine sitting incumbent Democratic and Republican members of the judiciary inside. So, as a community of women, each of the sixty-nine women featured as the “BODY OF THE SERIES” are linked together by their common successes in the rough and tumble world of Texas politics. Now, you can bet your bottom dollar, that some of these women will be endorsed by Houston Business Connections Newspaper©, in 2022 and 2024 “ELECTION GUIDES” when they appear on the ballot. However, unfortunately, some of these women will not make the cut. So, please do not forget that the deadline to run for political office in the “2022 MIDTERM ELECTIONS” is on Monday, December 13, 2021, in Texas. And, if you are a woman or man who is planning to run for office in 2022, you must sign up by Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00 pm. So, if you are not sure, what position you should run for in the Democratic Party Primary or Republican Party Primary, please call (281)788-3033, and I will try to assist you in any way I can.

MINISTERS OF JUSTICE

Every judge in America takes an oath of office and solemnly swears that they will administer justice without respect to persons and that they will do equal right to the poor and to the rich alike. So, the “MINISTERS OF JUSTICE” you see listed below, have all promised to faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon them under the United States Constitution and the laws that govern us as a free nation when they were elected. And each of them did so before the LORD God Almighty. Now, that being said, nowhere in their promise was their political party affiliation, sorority, socio-economic status, or ethnicity mentioned. So, let’s do our best going forward, to elect the “BEST AND BRIGHTEST” women and men who are committed to handing out even-handed justice to every person who enters their courtroom.

Nominating the Wrong Candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" Could Have Disastrous Consequences in the November 2022 General Election in Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.

THINKING ABOUT RUNNING?

If you are a candidate planning to run for office in 2022, you have to select the right candidate to run against. And the second most important thing to understand is that you have to select your race early, to avoid ending up in a crowded field of candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" in Harris County, Texas. So, if you need assistance trying to determine which race to enter, please call (281)788-3033, and I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have.
