Timing of the Ring DoorBell Contract Kim Ogg Gave Terrance Hall Smells Fishy; Email Received from Democratic Insider

One week before "EARLY VOTING" started, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg gave Pastor Terrance Hall a contract to install "RING DOORBELL CAMERAS" at senior citizens' homes. According to multiple sources, Pastor Terrance Hall (center) has no experience or certifications in installing these safety devices. Then, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, which was two days before "EARLY VOTING" was scheduled to end on Friday, November 1, 2024, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg held a ceremony announcing Pastor Terrance Hall as one of her "COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERS." According to our sources, Vivian King, the chief of staff for Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, signed off on the deal to pay Pastor Terrance Hall more than $7,000.00. Upon reviewing Vivian King's "CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTS," from 1/1/2024 through 11/5/2024, the name Terrance Hall does not appear on her campaign finance reports, which leads us to wonder if taxpayer dollars were paid to Pastor Terrance Hall to aid Vivian King in her failed bid to become the presiding judge for the 486th Criminal District Court.

Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg gave "POLITICAL OPERATIVE" Pastor Terrance Hall a contract to go out and install "RING DOORBELL CAMERAS" at the home of senior citizens on Monday, October 14, 2024, which was one week before the start of "EARLY VOTING" which began on Monday, October 21, 2024, in Harris County, Texas. It is unclear at this time if the taxpayer money paid to Pastor Terrance Hall was for installing the safety devices or to use his influence to help DA Ogg's chief of staff, Vivian King, win her bid to become the presiding judge for the 486th Criminal District Court, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in Harris County, Texas.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, which was only two days before "EARLY VOTING" ended on Friday, November 1, 2024, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg made Pastor Terrance Hall one of her "COMMUNITY PARTNERS" by giving him a special award in a ceremony she held. Why did the Harris County District Attorney's Office spend so much time promoting Pastor Terrance Hall during the "EARLY VOTING" period?

Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge Aaron Burdette received 730,432 votes for 50.42% of the vote, and his challenger, Vivian King (Democrat), received 718,252 votes for 49.58%. That said, Judge Aaron Burdette defeated Vivian King by 12,180 votes. Vivian King was the most corrupt candidate running for a judicial bench on the entire ballot and rightfully got her tail kicked at the ballot box.

The Ring Door Bell Contract Kim Ogg Gave Pastor Terrance Hall Smells Fishy; Email Received from Democratic Insider

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

An investigation needs to be opened by the Texas Rangers and the FBI into the contract Kim Ogg’s Office gave Terrance Hall. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. When Sean Teare (Democrat) announced his D.A. bid, Vivian King publicly attacked him.

Remember when Vivian King, the Assistant Harris County Attorney, filed that motion claiming Sean Teare broke the HCDAO’s ethical standards and protocols? “…Teare did not seek the necessary approval from the elected district attorney required to offer a pretrial intervention agreement on a fatality case. And Tear did not speak with the victim’s family…The offer of such an agreement is unprecedented in a fatality case," stated King.

“TURN OF EVENTS.”

On Monday, October 14, 2024, which was (7) seven days before the start of “EARLY VOTING” on Monday, October 21, 2024, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg gave Pastor Terrance Hall a contract allegedly valued at $7,000.00, to install “RING DOOR CAMERAS” in the home of seniors.

It is unknown at this time whether Pastor Terrance Hall has any experience installing “RING DOOR CAMERAS” or why Pastor Terrance Hall’s “I ASPIRE YOUTH PROGRAM” was chosen to receive the funds that were signed off on by Vivian King (Democrat), Kim Ogg’s chief of staff.

After searching through Vivian King’s “CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTS,” we don’t see any instance where her campaign paid Pastor Terrance Hall for any services between 1/1/2024 and 11/5/2024 when she was running for District Judge for the 486th Criminal District Court against Judge Aaron Burdette, who happened to be the incumbent Republican who ultimately defeated King.

Was the payment to Pastor Terrance Hall by the Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg’s Office to install “RING DOOR CAMERAS,” or was taxpayer dollars paid to Pastor Hall to promote Vivian King’s bid to become the judge of the 486th Criminal District Court?

Remember Vivian King and Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg posed for pictures facilitating the payment to Pastor Terrance Hall on Monday, October 14, 2024? Early voting started on Monday, October 21, 2024, one week after their photo op.

Did Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg and her chief of staff, Vivian King, use taxpayer dollars to Pastor Terrance Hall to have him assist Vivian King in her bid to become the judge for the 486th Criminal District Court, in a race that she didn’t come close to winning?

According to the Harris County Clerk’s Office, Judge Aaron Burdette received 730,432 votes for 50.42%, and Vivian King received 718,252 for 49.58%.

“DAMNING EMAIL.”

Aubrey R. Taylor Communication, the publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper, received a very troubling email on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 4:22 p.m.: “This General Election Was a Disaster.”

“The Democrats lost many Judges due to being cheap or holding on to their own campaign funds,” the emailer began. “Some had funds and didn’t run their own campaigns individually or at all.”

According to the person whom we’ve identified as a very well-known Democratic insider, the County Attorney (Christian Menefee) told the local judges that they did not need to pay local consultants or any grassroots community leaders to assist them with their campaigns.

According to the Democratic insider, Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee advised local judges to put their money into the Harris County Democratic Party—which the insider says was terrible advice because Texas no longer has straight-ticket ballots.

“Two or three of them put over $40 thousand into the Democrat Party,” explained the Democratic insider – which Aubrey R. Taylor Communications has determined to be a fact.

The Democratic insider also accused Mike Doyle, the chairman and treasurer of the Harris County Democratic Party, of not funding the African American Communities to support Vice President Kamala Harris or Collin Allred.

The Democratic insider claims, “They hired someone by the Name of Jesus and another guy to do the Woodlands and Caucasian parts of the City of Houston.”

“The Judges didn’t touch places like Humble, Cinco Ranch, and other areas,” explained the Democratic insider in the email.

“BAD STRATEGY.”

The Democratic insider went on to explain that many of the “DEMOCRAT JUDICIAL CANDIDATES,” such as Velda Renita Faulkner, Vivian King, Amber Boyd Cora, Brendetta Scott, Carvana Cloud, and several others all hired notorious “MAIL BALLOT HARVESTERS” to aid their campaigns.

“Evelyn Dupree, Lanora Walker, Gloria Palmer were hired to run their campaigns,” said the Democratic insider. “These people only had one person per poll who pushed at least ten different candidates’ cards and switched shirts with each candidate’s name daily,” said the Democratic insider.

According to the Democratic insider, the card-pushers would wear Vivian King’s t-shirt one day at the Sunny Side Multi-Service Center and switch to wearing Velda Renita Faulkner’s t-shirt the next day.

“Evelyn Dupree was paid a lot of money to pimp her workers by only paying them $10 per hour while she kept the rest and would be in the game room blowing it daily,” the Democratic insider alleges.

The Democratic insider explained, “The poor poll workers would be exhausted shuffling all those cards daily, putting books of them together to pass out.”

“The voters would just go inside and throw them away because they never knew one candidate from the other and had no time to go through the book of cards to find them individually,” explained the Democratic insider.

“VELDA AND VIVIAN.”

The Democratic insider alleges that Velda Renita Faulkner and Vivian King were the masterminds behind the idea for Velda Renita Faulkner, Vivian King, Amber Boyd Cora, Brendetta Scott, Carvana Cloud, and several other Democratic judicial candidates to run as a group.

“They all lost except for Tracy Good because he did some campaigning on his own,” says the Democratic insider who was correct. Tracy Good (Democrat) received 720,827 votes for 50.2%, and his opponent Brian Staley (Republican) received 716,387 votes for 49.8%.

Tracy Good’s individual marketing and branding efforts, which included Houston Business Connections Newspaper, enabled him to defeat his Republican opponent (Brian Staley) by 4,440 votes.

“RUNNING A SCAM.”

The Democratic insider explained that Evelyn Dupree and Thyra Burks had a scam during the 2024 presidential election cycle in Harris County, Texas.

“Evelyn Dupree and Thyra Burks, a Democratic Precinct Chair, worked both sides of the political aisle for Republicans and Democrats,” says the Democratic insider. “Their game is they hire their family members to work the Republican side as they collect money from both Parties.

According to the Democratic insider, Thyra Burks, the wife of former At-Large 2 Houston City Councilman Andrew C. Burks, Jr., had her entire family working for Mike Knox (Republican) in his bid to unseat Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez (Democrat), who was running for re-election.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez received 789,828 votes or 53.25% of the vote, and Mike Knox received 693,524 or 46.75%.

“Evelyn would hire strangers off the streets and pay them little money to work the Republican side,” explained the Democratic insider.

Thyra Burk’s brother, “BIG JOHN,” worked at the West Gray Multi-Service Center. The Democratic insider explained that he worked for Republicans and Democrats after making all the candidates pay him upfront.

“When they get busted for playing both sides, they do not refund the money to the candidates,” says the Democratic insider. “Thyra Burks, her brother (Big John), and Gloria Palmer scout the candidates at least 6 months before the elections and get the candidates to lock in early before the election.”

The Democratic insider stated, “Gloria calls and harasses and threatens many of the candidates.”

“Gloria Palmer will clown and loud talk any candidate that comes to the Northside poll that wouldn’t hire her,” according to the Democratic insider. “She slanders their names.”

“Evelyn Dupree does the same thing at the Sunny Side Multi-Service Center Polls.”

According to the Democratic insider, “Evelyn Dupree was busted during the Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Democratic Party Primary election running a scheme on Smokie Phillips, the new Constable-Elect for Precinct 7, Place 1.”

“She promised to cover 12 polls further out in the city, and when he (Smokie Phillips) went around to check them, no one was there. She was forced to give his money back by his campaign manager,” says the Democratic insider.

The Democratic insider also claims that Evelyn Dupree did the same thing to Harris County DA Kim Ogg During the Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Democratic Party Primary.

Evelyn Dupree allegedly did not cover at least “12 POLLS” for District Attorney Kim Ogg and allegedly pocketed the money for those days, which amounted to thousands of dollars.

Please note that our investigative team will search through Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg’s reports in the coming weeks to try to sort through the allegations made by the Democratic insider.

“A BOUGHT LESSON.”

The Democratic insider claims that none of the “ORIGINAL GRASSROOTS LEADERS” were hired to get out the vote and help on the North or Southside.

“These people are playing with their own time and money. This fiasco was a bought lesson, not a taught lesson for many of the Judicial Candidates,” the Democratic insider explained. “My suggestion is that if the judges do the same thing in the election against Abbott, try to run their own campaigns, or just be on slates, they will get the same results.”

According to the Democratic Insider, “The people need to know them. Those TV ad groups were running and hurt them dearly. They thought they would ride off Vice President Kamala Harris’ Coat Skirt Tail and Lost.”

“They Played Themselves,” said the Democratic insider.

The Democratic insider also stated, “Mike Doyle doesn’t mean none of the African American Democrat women no Good. He took Judge Fredericka Phillips’s ($47,000.00) and Judge Jeralynn Manor’s ($44,500.00) and used them for Lauren Ashley Simmons and Molly."

“The Democrats also lost from pushing the transgender ‘Sex Change of Our Children’ starting from the age of 10 years old,” explained the Democratic insider. “The Democratic Party ousted State Rep. Shawn Thierry for standing up against the sexual exploitation of children. She stood alone and got condemned for it,” the Democratic insider explained.

In closing, the Democratic insider summed up the Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Presidential Election as one lost by Democrats because they tried to push their agenda down everybody’s throat.

“Other representatives were afraid to speak up about it because they were afraid of the LGBT Caucus. Thierry is now a Republican and continues to stand for her beliefs.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

The questionable "RING DOORBELL CAMERA" contract awarded to Pastor Terrance Hall by Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg and Vivian King, which took place (7) seven days before the start of “EARLY VOTING,” must be investigated. It is unclear at this time if Pastor Terrance Hall has any experience installing “RING DOORBELL CAMERAS” or how many were installed at the time of this report, but we plan to find out.

Judge Kristen Hawkins (Democrat) is a great judge by any measurable standard. However, her successful re-election bid was aided by a small group of voters between (8,000 and 10,000), who went to the polls on "ELECTION DAY" to cast their votes for her while skipping the names of her fellow Democrats with 'ethnic-sounding names' causing many of them to lose. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Kristen Hawkins received 759,292 votes for 51.67% of the vote, and her challenger Nile Bailey Copeland (Republican) received 710,240 votes for 48.33%. That said, Judge Kristen Hawkins defeated her challenger by 49,052 votes.

Judge Fredericka Phillips (Democrat) had a slight hiccup when she was first elected presiding judge for the 61st Civil District Court bench. The fact that Judge Phillips's mistake is constantly used against her while the shortcomings of other public officials are swept under the rug wreaks of potential 'racial bias' against her must stop immediately. There's no logical explanation for Judge Fredericka Phillips (Democrat) to receive so many fewer votes than Judge Kristen Hawkins (Democrat), who appeared in the "CONTESTED JUDICIAL RACE" right before hers on the ballot. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Fredericka Phillips received 724,465 votes for 49.46% of the vote, and her challenger Lee Kathryn Shuchart (Republican) received 740,386 votes for 50.54%. That said, Judge Fredericka Phillips lost her bid for reelection to her challenger by 15,921 votes.

Judge Jeralynn Manor (Democrat) has done a magnificent job since becoming the presiding judge for the 80th Civil District Court bench, as evidenced by her receiving the prestigious endorsement of the Houston Chronicle Editorial Board. This raises the question of why Judge Jeralynn Manor received so many fewer votes than Judge Kristen Hawkins, who appeared on the ballot two races before her. By comparison, Judge Kristen Hawkins (Democrat) received 759,292 votes, and Judge Jeralyn Manor (Democrat) only received 731,084 votes, an astonishing 28,208 vote differential between the two Democrat judges. How did this happen? There's no logical explanation for why Judge Jeralynn Manor (Democrat) should have received that many fewer votes than Judge Kristen Hawkins unless her name was being "SYSTEMATICALLY SKIPPED" by Democratic voters. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Jeralynn Manor received 731,084 votes for 49.98% of the vote, and her challenger, Sonya L. Aston (Republican) received 731,731 votes for 50.02%. That said, Judge Jeralynn Manor lost her bid for reelection to her challenger by 647 votes.

Judge Michael Gomez (Democrat) has done a tremendous job as a judge. However, his successful re-election bid was aided by a small group of voters between (8,000 and 10,000), who went to the polls on "ELECTION DAY" to cast their votes for him while skipping the names of his fellow Democrats with 'ethnic-sounding names' causing many of them to lose. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Michael Gomez received 754,949 votes for 51.54% of the vote, and his challenger, Will Archer (Republican), received 709,841 votes for 48.46%. That said, Judge Michael Gomez defeated his challenger by 45,108 votes.

Judge-Elect Nicole Perdue (Democrat) was a fine attorney and will make a great judge. However, her successful bid for the 133rd Civil District Court bench was aided by a small group of voters between (8,000 and 10,000), who went to the polls on "ELECTION DAY" to cast their votes for her while skipping the names of her fellow Democrats with 'ethnic-sounding names' causing many of them to lose. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Nicole Perdue received 729,958 votes for 50.03% of the vote, and her opponent Michael Landrum (Republican) received 729,184 votes for 49.97%. That said, Judge-Elect Nicole Perdue defeated her opponent by 774 votes.

Judge Cheryl Elliott Thornton (Democrat) is a seasoned veteran judge who is "BATTLE-TESTED" and skilled at campaigning. On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Judge Elliott-Thornton manhandled Aaron Adams (Republican). Judge Elliott-Thornton also manhandled her Democratic Party Primary challenger, Joy Thomas, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. In the 2020 Presidential Election, Judge Cheryl Elliott Thorton soundly defeated Michael Landrum (Republican) after she defeated her fellow Democrat, Judge Alexandra Smoots-Thoma, formerly Hogan. In short, Judge Cheryl Elliott Thornton has demonstrated an innate knack for winning, which she proved by winning her reelection bid against a "NO-NAME" Republican candidate who threw his name on the ballot and did nothing else. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Cheryl Elliott Thornton received 737,247 votes for 50.60% of the vote, and her challenger Aaron Adams (Republican) received 719,774 votes for 49.40%. That said, Judge Cheryl Elliott Thornton defeated her challenger by 17,473 votes.

Words can't express how bad a job Judge Ursula A. Hall (Democrat) was doing as the presiding judge for the 165th Civil District Court in Harris County, Texas. The mistake Democrats made in the race for the 165th Civil District Court was to allow her to make it out of the Democratic Party Primary election that was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. While Judge Hall defeated her Democratic challenger (Jill Yaziji) on Super Tuesday, her luck ran out when she ran up against Bruce Bain (Republican), a highly respected attorney capable of taking over the 165th Civil District Court bench. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge Ursula A. Hall received 716,555 votes for 49.23% of the vote, and her challenger Bruce Bain (Republican) received 739,109 votes for 50.77%. That said, Judge-Elect Bruce Bain defeated Judge Ursula A. Hall by 22,554 votes.

Judge Robert Johnson (Democrat) allegedly allowed a pregnant woman to nearly die inside the courtroom a few years ago. According to several attorneys in his 177th Criminal District court at the time, Judge Johnson seemed unconcerned and would even allow her husband to aid her. Judge Robert Johnson, by most accounts, is an egotistical jerk who let the "BLACK ROBE" he was wearing go to his head. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge Robert Johnson received 725,463 votes for 49.87% of the vote, and her challenger, Emily Munoz Detoto (Republican) received 729,131 votes for 50.13%. That said, Judge-Elect Emily Munoz Detoto defeated Judge Robert Johnson by 3,668 votes.

Judge Elaine Palmer (Democrat) was an excellent judge. However, she came up short of winning her reelection bid on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge Elaine Palmer received 725,947 votes for 49.99% of the vote, and her challenger, Nathan J. Milliron (Republican) received 726,251 votes for 50.01%. That said, Judge-Elect Nathan Milliron defeated Judge Elaine Palmer by 304 votes.

Judge-Elect Tracy D. Good (Democrat) is highly respected among attorneys and his fellow judges. He is well capable of moving the 333rd Criminal District Court forward after defeating his fellow Democrat Brittany Morris back on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the Democratic Party Primary, and then also defeating his Republican opponent Brian Staley in the 2024 Presidential Election. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge-Elect Tracy D. Good received 728,385 votes for 50.26% of the vote, and his opponent, Brian Staley (Republican), received 720,754 votes for 49.74%. That said, Judge-Elect Tracy D. Good defeated Brian Staley by 7,631 votes.

Attorney Allison Jackson Matthis (Democrat) performed masterfully in the Democratic Party Primary, held back on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, when she easily unseated Judge Ramona Franklin. Her brand and "NAME ID" had an "ethnic-sounding" ring, which aided her tremendously against Judge Franklin. However, when Allison Jackson Matthis faced off against her Republican opponent, Michelle Oncken, the 'ethnic-sounding' name became a liability. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Michelle Oncken received 727,301 votes for 50.16% of the vote, and her opponent, Allison Jackson Mathis (Democrat), received 722,622 votes for 49.84%. That said, Judge-Elect Michelle Oncken defeated Allison Jackson Matthis by 4,679 votes.

Attorney Vivian King (Democrat) is a lying, conniving, manipulative, corrupt, and poor excuse for a human being. Vivian King is a snake and should not have been allowed to slither, squirm, wriggle, crawl, and manipulate her way into nearly becoming the judge of the 486th Criminal District Court. Vivian King is considered the "H-TOWN DRUNK" who hates men. She's also, on multiple occasions, allegedly tried to paint Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg (her boss) as a racist behind her back. Both of the "BLACK DEMOCRAT MEN" who were on the ballot on "SUPER TUESDAY" running against this low-down dirty skank were more worthy and trustworthy than her. Either Gemayle Haynes or Roderick Rodgers should have been the Democratic nominee in the race for the 486th Criminal District Court, in my opinion. By the way, the term "SKANK" is a term used to describe a disreputable or sleazy person.

Judge-Elect Stacy Allen Barrow (Democrat) will make a fine judge. However, she skated through the 2024 Presidential Election cycle under the radar, as voters seeking to purge candidates with 'ethnic-sounding' names from local judicial benches didn't identify her as being a Black woman because her name does not sound ethnic. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judg-Elect Stacy Allen Barrow received 728,314 votes for 50.39% of the vote, and her opponent, Lori DeAngelo (Republican), received 716,933 votes for 49.61%. That said, Judge-Elect Stacy Allen Barrow defeated Lori DeAngelo by 11,381 votes.

Attorney Carvana Cloud (Democrat) may or may not have made a good judge, depending on who you ask. However, she ran a horrible strategy to win the 488th Criminal District Court bench. Even still, her name was skipped by voters who went to the polls on Election Day seeking to prevent Democratic candidates with 'ethnic-sounding' names from winning local judicial benches in Harris County, Texas. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge Matthew Peneguy received 727,300 votes for 50.41% of the vote, and his challenger, Carvana Cloud (Democrat), received 715,457 votes for 49.59%. That said, Judge Peneguy defeated Carvana Cloud by 11,843 votes.

Judge-Elect Lillian Henny Alexander (Democrat) benefited from an excellent "BALLOT NAME," which on Election Day could not be distinguished as "ethnic-sounding." Lillian Henny Alexander did a colossal service to Harris County, Texas, when she unseated Judge Julia Maldonado during Super Tuesday in the race for the 507th Family District Court. As you can see, Henny-Alexander was the only "BLACK DEMOCRAT FEMALE" judicial candidate to have over 150,000 voters go to the polls on Election Day and vote for her candidacy. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge-Elect Lillian Henny Alexander received 742,087 votes for 51.41% of the vote, and her opponent, Dan Lemkuil (Republican), received 742,087 votes for 48.59%. That said, Judge-Elect Lillian Henny Alexander defeated Dan Lemkuil by 40,742 votes.

Attorney Ashley Mayes Guice (Democrat) has a nice ride. She defeated Juan Aguirre on Super Tuesday to earn the Democratic nomination. However, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, which was Election Day, she got caught up in a situation where a small group of voters were skipping 'ethnic-sounding' names and didn't come close to reaching the 150,000 threshold. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Linda Garcia received 742,824 votes for 50.85% of the vote, and her opponent, Ashley Mayes Guice (Democrat), received 718,067 votes for 49.15%. That said, Judge-Elect Linda Garcia defeated Ashley Mayes Guice by 24,757 votes.

Judge-Elect Fransheneka "Fran" Watson (Democrat) had the most 'ethnic-sounding' first name among the Democratic judicial candidates. However, she overcame her challenge and defeated Ray Black, Jr. (Republican) to claim the Judge, County Probate Court No. 5, bench. Based on the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT" certified by Harris County Commissioners on Friday, November 15, 2024, Judge-Elect Fransheneka "Fran" Watson received 732,651 votes for 50.45% of the vote, and her opponent, Ray Black, Jr., (Republican), received 719,634 votes for 49.55%. That said, Judge-Elect Fran Watson defeated Ray Black, Jr., by 13,017 votes.
