"He's Relying on Us" is a Message by Aubrey R Taylor to Encourage Believers to Vote in the 2015 Houston Mayoral Election

“We are living in some crucial times in America. Almost daily it seems like someone is either trying to terrorize us from abroad; or seeking to tear away at the core values upon which America was founded. But I want you to know that the solutions to many of the ills we’re facing as a nation can be found tucked away in the hearts and minds of true Godly leaders. Be reminded of this today: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” I found this in the book of Proverbs 29:2 in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. We can do this! But we must endeavor as a body of Believers to make a deliberated effort to put Godly people into positions of authority on the local, state, and federal level in America.” -- AUBREY R. TAYLOR

LORD I’m going to do all I can to put Godly people into positions of authority. I’m going to make wise decisions based on your word, when selecting public servants in my city, state, and country. I thank you in advance for revealing your children to me Father. You can rely on me to do my part as you strengthen me.

Here are a few of the candidates whom I believe are eyeing the chance to succeed Mayor Annise Parker in the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election: Attorney Ben Hall, Attorney Chris Bell, State Rep. Sylvester Turner, Attorney Eric Dick, City Council Member Oliver Pennington, City Council Member Stephen Costello, Former Kemah Mayor Bill King, and Attorney Sean Roberts

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2015 for the 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election. And I am looking forward to a record turnout, clean competitive races, and hopeful that we get a mayor who is committed to representing our entire city – not special interest groups.

"According to an ABCNews/Beliefnet Poll 83 percent of Americans identify themselves as Christians. So to this end, it makes perfect sense for us to get Christians engaged, empowered, informed, and excited about the process of choosing those who govern on the local, state, and federal levels in America. So don't forget about what Proverbs 29:2 teaches us: "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." -- AUBREY
