Is Racism and White Supremacy Rearing It's Ugly Head in Harris County as the November 3, 2020 Presidential Election Draws Nearer?

Carroll G. Robinson, (far left) is the State Chairman of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, and he's not a happy camper right about now. Steve Kherkher (above middle) has sued Lillie Schechter (far right) in the 14th Court of Appeals District of Texas. Kherkher is still trying to compel Lillie Schechter to remove Attorney Brittanye Morris (bottom second from right) from the Tuesday, November 3, 2020 ballot. Judge Daryl Moore (bottom second from left), pictured with his husband Mark Leon Smith was handily defeated by Attorney Brittanye Morris back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Harris County Democratic Party primary race for Judge, 333rd Civil District Court. Sharon Laverne Fuller (bottom far right), has publicly stated that Lillie Schechter CANNOT AND MUST NOT be trusted. “…that's one of the main reasons why I resigned as Primary Director. Too much was being done knowingly and unknowingly by the Primary Chair and Chair that I wasn't privy to or that I wasn't supposed to be intelligent/wise enough to "catch,” says Sharon Laverne Fuller. “THEIR catchphrase ALWAYS involves placing blame on the Republican Party. That simply isn't the case,” explained Sharon Laverne Fuller speaking candidly about the Harris County Democratic Party leadership. According to Fuller, the ENTIRE 2020 Primary should be audited, and as the former Harris County Democratic Party Primary Director, she should know better than anyone. “This is just awful! I can continue to speculate, but I know LILLIE'S hands are in this. If not, I'd be embarrassingly surprised,” she went on to say.

It's Time To End The Games In Harris County Democratic Party Politics

By Carroll G. Robinson

Some lawyer, named Steve Kherkher, is suing Harris County Democratic Party Chair, Lillie Schechter to try and force her to remove Brittanye Morris from the November General Election Ballot.

Brittanye defeated incumbent Judge Daryl Moore in the March Democratic Primary. She is unopposed in the General Election as there is no Republican candidate running against her. In other words, Brittanye Morris will be a new judge after the November General Election.

Brittanye Morris is an African-American woman lawyer.

Steve Kherkher did not raise any issues about Brittanye Morris' qualifications to serve as a judge until after Harris County Democratic primary voters had elected her as our nominee.

Why didn't Kherkher raise any questions about Brittanye Morris' qualifications before Democratic voters went to the polls in March?

What is he trying to accomplish? Why is he trying to disenfranchise all the Democratic primary voters who voted for a woman to serve as our party's nominee for judge?

----------------------------------------------

Why is it that when Democratic women of color, in Harris County, are elected judges: they are not qualified enough, it causes some white men in the Harris County Democratic Party to feel like they no longer have a place in the Party and it's ok for the Texas legislature to take away the right of Texans, in urban counties, to elect our judges?

----------------------------------------------

I don't know what is going to happen with Steve Kherkher's lawsuit but Democratic primary voters have voted and they chose a Black woman to serve as judge and that decision must be respected by all Democrats in Harris County, especially the Democratic Precinct Chairs that make up the County Executive Committee (CEC) and our local elected officials.

I consider judge Moore a friend but Democratic voters decided they did not want him to continue serving.

Hopefully, Judge Moore has nothing to do with Steve Kherkher's lawsuit and attacks against Brittanye Morris and any political games being played to try and replace a Black woman (elected by Democratic primary voters) with a white man (selected by the CEC) on the November General Election Ballot. It's time for these kinds of games to come to an end in Democratic Party politics.

“Lillie Schechter CANNOT and MUST NOT be trusted,” says former Harris County Democratic Party Primary Director, Sharon Laverne Fuller

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Can Lillie Schechter, Chairwoman of the Harris County Democratic Party be trusted to fight for Attorney Brittanye Morris wholeheartedly at the appellate level? Is the lawsuit filed against Lillie Schechter by Attorney Steve Kherkher some sort of collaborative effort to get Attorney Brittanye Morris off the ballot in another way? Why did Lillie Schechter put so much information in the public letter she released about the whole matter regarding Attorney Brittanye Morris’ eligibility or ineligibility whereas her residency was concerned? Will Lillie Schechter do the right thing whereas Attorney Brittanye Morris is concerned? Are Democrats colluding with Attorney Steve Kherkher? Look, to be brutally honest, I don’t know if Attorney Brittanye Morris should blindly trust the Harris County Democratic Party (and their attorneys) to fight on her behalf going forward. Especially since their own, former Harris County Democratic Party Primary Director, Sharon Laverne Fuller has publicly stated that Lillie Schechter CANNOT AND MUST NOT be trusted. Now, I don’t know Lillie Schechter personally. I’ve never shaken this woman’s hand, so I cannot speak to her character or anything like that. But I have heard some rumors about her – which I do not wish to discuss here. But Sharon Laverne Fuller, having worked for the Harris County Democratic Party knows Chairwoman Lillie Schechter well from what I understand. In case you don’t know, Fuller resigned from the HCDP, in part, because of Lillie Schechter. Lillie Schechter, Chairwoman of the Harris County Democratic Party was not challenged back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in Democratic Party primary race for Harris County Democratic Party Chair.

THE RUMOR FLOATING AROUND HARRIS COUNTY THESE DAYS, IS THAT HCDP CHAIRWOMAN LILLIE SCHECHTER IS ‘ALLEGEDLY’ GOING TO RESIGN AFTER THE 2020 GENERAL ELECTION AND TAKE OUT ‘BLACK GIRL MAGIC’ IN 2022

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Is the fight against Attorney Brittanye Morris a precursor of greater battles that lie ahead for African American candidates up the road in 2022? “I'm told that after the 2020 Election, Chairwoman Lillie Schecther is ‘allegedly’ going to resign. "She’s going to head up an organization to get rid of the 'Black presence,'" said Sharon Lavern Fuller, “THEY are tired of the "Black Girl Magic," according to this former Harris County Democratic Party Primary Director who resigned her position, in large part because of the actions of HCDP Chair Lillie Schechter. “African Americans wholeheartedly and without second-guessing supports HCDP,” explains Fuller. “However, the current leadership strategically disregards, discredits, shuns, ignores, and rids itself of their largest voting bloc, because consultants tell them to do so,” Sharon Lavern Fuller went on to say. “African Americans are not truly valued. This current administration's focus is placed on building the AAPI (Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders) and Latino groups, respectfully,” according to Fuller. This sounds absolutely unbelievable – right? Well, how well do you know your history?

Depending on who you talk to, Lillie Schechter, chairwoman of the Harris County Democratic Party is either a good person or a closet racist. Unfair or not, these are the rumblings that are beginning to lurk in the shadows amongst Democrats in Harris County, Texas.

DOES LILLIE CARE ABOUT US?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

When you look at the recent actions, and missteps by the HCDP Chairwoman Lillie Schechter and the Harris County Democratic Party, it begs to question whether or not they’re trying to do some sort of purge of Black elected officials. Look, make no mistake about it, the Harris County Democratic Party is on the verge of a “CIVIL WAR” if you ask me. The current administration appears, through their repeated actions to be harkening back to the old days. It’s unfortunate, but it just seems like the current Harris County Democratic Party leadership is trying to run Blacks out of their party. Are Black candidates no longer welcome in the Harris County Democratic Party? Now with slavery and straight-ticket voting abolished in America, are Blacks going to be forced to look at other options in this two-party system? Are the current leaders of the Harris County Democratic Party really “CLOSET RACISTS” masquerading as Democrats as some folks believe? It has long been rumored that following the Reconstruction era, many racist Democrats lurking in the shadows today, are actually descendants of the worst of the worst Republicans who bolted from the Republican party and infiltrated the Democratic Party.

Abraham Lincoln, in case you don't know, became the 16th President of the United States back in 1861. He is the Republican President who issued the Emancipation Proclamation that set our ancestors free from slavery in these United States of America.

WE ARE FREE TODAY BECAUSE OF PRESIDENT ABRAHAM LINCOLN WHO WAS A REPUBLICAN

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Did you know that President Abraham Lincoln, a Republican was the one who issued the Emancipation Proclamation which freed us in these United States of America? Get this, unbeknownst to a lot of Blacks it was the entire Republican Party who freed and liberated us as a peoplethis is a fact. Look, back in 1864 it was leaders at the Republican National Convention who called for the abolition of slavery in America. Did you know this? Huh? Did you know this? Did you know that only a handful of Congressional Democrats voted for the 13th Amendment to be passed? Did you know that Congressional Republicans passed the 13th Amendment unanimously? What is the 13th Amendment? Alright, here it is in a nutshell, Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” Did you notice the part about “…EXCEPT AS A PUNISHMENT FOR A CRIME WHEREOF THE PARTY SHALL HAVE BEEN DULY CONVICTED shall exist within the United States?” Well, for all of you folks who don’t believe that our modern-day prison system is a form of slavery, there you have it.

TEXAS HISTORY YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW

According to their website, “African Americans were one group of Texans that would consistently support the Republican Party in Texas in those early years. In fact, throughout Reconstruction, African Americans comprised about 90% of GOP membership, and 44 African Americans served in the Texas legislature as Republicans.” Did you get that? Don’t miss that! At one point in history, African Americans comprised 90% of the GOP membership.

Their website also went on to say, “It was through the hard work of a number of dedicated African American men and women that the earliest foundations of the Republican Party of Texas were laid. The first-ever state Republican convention that met in Houston on July 4, 1867, was predominantly African American in composition, with about 150 African American Texans attending, and 20 Anglos.”

Have you ever heard of Norris Wright Cuney? Well, according to their website, “The second State GOP Chairman, Norris Wright Cuney, an African-American from Galveston who led the Republican Party from 1883 to 1897, is said by State historians to have held “the most important political position given to a black man of the South in the nineteenth century.”

President Ronald Reagan is widely considered as one of the best U.S. Presidents. He was served as the 40th president of the United States from 1981 to 1989. President Reagan rose to become one of the most revered voices of modern conservatism.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I ran across this definition while surfing the internet trying to gather information for this report, Ronald Reagan (40th President of the United States), explained the difference between Democrats and Republicans in a way that cannot be improved upon in my opinion: “Two visions of the future, two fundamentally different ways of governing – their government of pessimism, fear, and limits, or ours of hope, confidence, and growth. Their government sees people only as members of groups. Ours serves all the people of America as individuals.” I found this quote on the Harris County Republican Party’s website.

Attorney Brittanye Morris (an African American woman), defeated Judge Daryl Moore (a gay white male) back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Party primary race for Judge, 333rd Civil District Court. Attorney Brittanye Morris received, 157,780 votes, for 61.35% of the vote, back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Party primary race for Judge, 333rd Civil District Court. Comparatively speaking, Judge Daryl Moore, only received 95,605 votes, for 38.65% of the vote. Attorney Morris was declared ineligible by Harris County Democratic Chairman Lillie Schechter after she defeated Judge Daryl Moore. Yes, after she defeated Judge Daryl Moore back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Then after receiving information from Attorney Morris, Chairwoman Schechter reversed her decision. Now, Attorney Steve Kherkher has filed a suit to compel Chairman Schechter to remove Attorney Brittanye Morris from the Tuesday, November 3, 2020 ballot.

Is it possible that the descendants of some of these hateful Americans have somehow managed to infiltrate the Harris County Democratic Party? Could it be that we are seeing what can be likened to a modern-day lynching of Attorney Brittanye Morris by members of her very own party?

IS A MODERN-DAY LYNCHING TAKING PLACE IN HARRIS COUNTY?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I know that these are strong words, but the actions being perpetrated whereas Attorney Brittanye Morris is concerned are a slap in the face to every American -- Black, White, Brown, Blue, or Green. And these actions appear to be coming from a dark and evil place if you ask me. Nope! This is not a Black ‘thang’ that's going down in Harris County, Texas in 2020. Nope! This isn’t race-baiting either. What is it? I’m going to tell you if you hold your horses. What’s going down right now, at least on the surface appears to be “WHITE SUPREMACY” at its finest. The only thing that’s missing is the white sheets over their heads. What is “WHITE SUPREMACY,” and how is it perpetuated? By definition, any person who believes that the white race is inherently superior to other races and that white people should have control over people of other races is a “WHITE SUPREMACIST” according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. So, if you believe the rumors floating around that, Lillie Schechter, is ‘allegedly’ planning to step down as Harris County Democratic Party Chair after the “2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION” and head up an organization being created to get rid of the quote, “BLACK PRESENCE” in Harris County, Texas -- you should be very concerned. Look, this could just be nothing more than a rumor – I don’t know! It would be heartbreaking to a lot of folks if this rumor turned out to actually be true. Even still, Sharon Laverne Fuller, the former Harris County Democratic Party Primary Director, stated these words to me, “THEY are tired of the "Black Girl Magic." So, is it possible that Attorney Brittanye Morris, is a test? Is it possible that the descendants of “WHITE SUPREMACIST” have infiltrated the Harris County Democratic Party and are working to destroy all the gains and achievements that have been made over the years whereas Black people are concerned? Are these folks 'alleged' to be “WHITE SUPREMACIST” going to be allowed to disenfranchise the 151,780 Democratic voters who cast their ballot for Attorney Brittanye Morris (African American female), over Judge Daryl Moore (Gay White Male) back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Party primary race for Judge, 333rd Civil District Court? Why won’t they stop? Are they trying to turn back the hands of time? Are they trying to take Harris County back to the days of old? Why would any “TRUE BLUE DEMOCRAT” be trying to hang Attorney Brittanye Morris from the proverbial tree? Why would any “TRUE BLUE DEMOCRAT” believe that it’s okay to disenfranchise 151,780 Democratic voters? The answer is simple, there could very well be some “WHITE SUPREMACIST” who have infiltrated the Harris County Democratic Party over the years, who must be rooted out! Is Lillie Schechter one of them? I don’t know the answer to this question, but actions speak louder than words. What about Judge Daryl Moore? Does Judge Daryl Moore fully understand that the folks who appear to be fighting for him are ruining any chance for him to hold public office again? As of right now, I don’t have the answers to these questions. But I do have the recent Democratic Party primary results, Attorney Brittanye Morris received, 157,780 votes, for 61.35% of the vote, back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Party primary race for Judge, 333rd Civil District Court. Comparatively speaking, Judge Daryl Moore, only received 95,605 votes, for 38.65% of the vote. So, in essence, Judge Daryl Moore got an “OLD-FASHIONED BUTT KICKING” by Attorney Brittanye Morris. This young sister beat this man fair and square – with little money and basically no endorsements. Isn’t that the American way? What about “LIFE LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS?” What about Attorney Brittanye Morris? What about her happiness? What lesson are we sending to our young progressive people? What message are we sending to people who already believe that their vote doesn’t count? Huh? Have you folks thought about this? Huh?

In case you don't know, Constable Sherman Eagleton received 10,008 votes back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Primary, according to the "Unofficial" election returns published by the Harris County Clerk.

Former Constable Ken Jones is heading into the Tuesday, July 14, 2020, runoff election in the race for Harris County Constable Precinct 3 as the "RUNNER-UP" against Constable Sherman Eagleton. In case you don't know, Ken Jones received 3,391 votes back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Primary, according to the "Unofficial" election returns published by the Harris County Clerk. However, in a recent turn of events, Eric Reed, Deborah Florus, and Michel (Poppy) Pappillion have all decided to throw their support behind Ken Jones. This could make the runoff showdown between Constable Sherman Eagleton and former Precinct 3 Constable Ken Jones one of the most intriguing races on the entire May 26th Democratic runoff ballot. Why? Well, at first glance it would appear that Constable Sherman Eagleton is the clear, and decisive "FRONT-RUNNER" heading into the runoff showdown. However, when you take into account that Eric Reed received 1,810 votes for 8.58% of the vote; Deborah Florus received 3,279 votes for 15.54% of the vote; Michael (Poppy) Pappillion received 913 votes for 4.33% of the vote, and Ken Jones himself received 3,391 votes for 16.07% of the vote, it isn't difficult to see that the "RUNOFF SHOWDOWN" between Constable Eagleton and Ken Jones won't be as lopsided as their Democratic Primary was back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Another key factor to pay close attention to is the fact that only 23,896 votes were cast back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the race for Harris County Constable for Precinct 3. Why is this significant? Well, according to the Harris County Clerk's Office, there are 197,063 registered voters in Precinct 3 who could potentially turn out on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. So both Constable Sherman Eagleton (the current Constable for Precinct 3) and Ken Jones (the former Constable for Precinct 3) will both have their work cut out for them between now and the start of the "EARLY VOTING PERIOD" which begins on Monday, July 6, 2020, and ends on Friday, July 10, 2020, in Harris County, Texas.
