These Four 'Alleged' Racist HISD Trustees Must Not Be Allowed to Hide Behind the Democratic Party Shield on December 11th

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "According to business woman Georgia Provost, HISD has been racist since it was established way back in 1924. Did you know that? Well, that being said, has anyone sent Odus Evbagharu, chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party the memo yet? What memo am I talking about? I'm glad you asked! I'm talking about he memo that explains to him that he's not supposed to support the four HISD Trustees who now find themselves in tough spot, Saturday, December 11, 2021, runoff elections. What's he supposed to do? Well, he's supposed to "STAND DOWN" and allow these four 'alleged' racist woman fend for themselves. So, to put it bluntly, HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos, (District I) must be rejected on Saturday, December 11, 2021. HISD Trustee Sue Diegaard (District V) must be rejected on Saturday, December 11, 2021. HISD Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca (District VI) must be rejected on Saturday, December 11, 2021. And HISD Trustee Ann Sung (District VII) must also be rejected on Saturday, December 11, 2021."

BLACK COMMUNITY LEADER GEORGIA PROVOST: "We must read history, HISD has been racist since it was established in 1924. In 1960's Blacks were the majority so the blue eyes said hell no, so they reclassified Hispanics as Whites, so Whites could be the majority. They used Hispanics for their advantage. What was the reward for Hispanics? Now 93% of students enrolled in HISD are Blacks and Brown, now they are getting a watered down education. K-6-should be taught reading, writing, arithmetic and critical thinking - 7&8- STEAM- Science, Technology, Engineering Art, Mathematics and Critical thinking. Need qualified teachers to teach the above, with a host of wraparound services. I can write a book on HISD education from 1924 to present. That is why Trustees are so important, many do not know the importance of education for my Black and Brown Students. As a former HISD School Home Community Agent, retired HISD Educator, PTA President 2 years Middle School and 4 years - High School and 6 years as a Den Mother for Boy Scouts of America.. Love you!"

FORMER HISD TRUSTEE JOLANDA JONES: “It has always been about the Black against the Brown,” said Jolanda Jones, a former HISD Trustee whose leadership is sorely missed right now. She made this statement earlier this year at a protest that was held in front of the HISD Administration Building to call out racist influences that she and other leaders believed were playing out on the HISD School Board. And on Saturday, December 6, 2021, Attorney Jolanda Jones doubled-down by publishing a "#AsTheBoardTurns SPECIAL BLURB EDITION" that stated, "#BlackLivesMatter, especially in #HISD, there4 Black people do NOT vote 4 Elizabeth SANTOS, Anne SUNG, Sue DIEGAARD & Holly  VASECA in the runoff election. Why? 4 the MOST part, they did NOT & do NOT vote 4 Black people. I know because I served with them U spent MOST of my time trying 2 undermine their ANTI-BLACK agenda. Further, as I was reminded recently, they "actually voted AGAINST Black kids & interests & damned show didn't vote 4 Black kids..." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "It would be a huge tactical blunder for Odus Evbagharu, the chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party, to provide a Democratic Party shield for the four 'alleged' racist HISD School Board Trustees to hide behind in the upcoming Saturday, December 11, 2021, HISD School Board Runoff Elections. Why? Well, for starters, local School Board Elections are non-partisan. Secondly, allowing HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos, (District I), HISD Trustee Sue Diegaard (District V), HISD Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca (District VI), and HISD Trustee Ann Sung (District VII), to hide behind "THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY SHEILD" would be a slap in the face of the Black community considering how these women treated Dr. Grenita Lathan with such blatant disrespect earlier this year."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "That's businesswoman Georgia Provost, giving back to the community along with the honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (18th Congressional District of Texas), and Congressman Al Green, our United States Representative for the 9th Congressional District of Texas."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (18th Congressional District of Texas), and businesswoman Georgia Provost are two of the most courageous African American leaders we have in Harris County, Texas right now."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In the photo above, businesswoman Georgia Provost and former City of Houston Police Chief C.O. Bradford, are having a frank discussion about something -- not sure what."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In the photo above, businesswoman Georgia Provost, is pictured with former Houston City Councilman, and Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia. In case you don't know, Garcia is currently serving as the Harris County Commissioner for Precinct #2, and he's up for re-election in the 2022 Midterm Election."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In the photo above, businesswoman Georgia Provost, is pictured with State Rep. Harold Dutton (HD-142), and a few other supporters of Texas Southern University. In case you don't know, Georgia loves and supports Texas Southern University."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In the photo above, businesswoman Georgia Provost, is pictured is doing what her thing. She's one of the strongest and most courageous women I know."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In the photo above, businesswoman Georgia Provost, is pictured with State Rep. Ron Reynolds (HD-27) in Fort Bend County. These are two people I love, admire, and respect. State Rep. Reynolds will be up for re-election in the 2022 Midterm Elections."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Do you remember how Dr. Grenita Lathan was treated while she was still here in Houston, Texas? Well, I'm pleased to report that Dr. Grenita Lathan is doing really good now serving as the superintendent for Springfield Public Schools. However, we still have a little unfinished business with a few of the HISD Trustees who mistreated Dr. Grenita Lathan, and now find themselves between a rock and a hard place. Now, that being said, nobody who claims to care anything about Black people, and the Black community should be casting their vote for any of the HISD School Board Trustees we've forced into runoffs on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Listen!!! All four of the HISD Trustees you see with an "X" mark over their picture should be rejected by everyone who believes that racism is wrong! And HISD Trustee Ann Sung (District VII) must also be rejected on Saturday, December 11, 2021." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Nobody who claims to care anything about Black people, and the Black community should be casting their vote for any of the HISD School Board Trustees we've forced into runoffs on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Nor should these four 'alleged' racist HISD School Board Trustees we've forced into runoff elections be allowed to hide behind a "DEMOCRATIC PARTY SHEILD" on Saturday, December 11, 2021. How long is your memory? Do you remember how these four 'alleged' racist women treated Dr. Grenita Lathan like she was trash or something worthless? Remember how these four 'alleged' racist HISD Trustees treated Dr. Grenita Lathan like she wasn't good enough to serve as the permanent HISD Trustee? Do you remember how HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos, (District I), HISD Trustee Sue Diegaard (District V), HISD Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca (District VI), and HISD Trustee Ann Sung (District VII) treated Dr. Grenita Lathan with such disrespect earlier this year? Do you remember how their 'alleged' racism toward Dr. Grenita Lathan made you feel deep down inside when you heard about how Dr. Lathan had been treated by these women? Do you remember how only the three Blacks on the HISD School Board voted to have the interim tag removed from Dr. Grenita Lathan's name? HISD Trustee Kathy Blueford Daniels (District II trustee), HISD Trustee Dr. Patricia K. Allen (District IV), and HISD Trustee Wanda Adams was the District IX trustee at the time. Shortly after the vote, Adams step down because the people elected her as the Harris County Justice of the Peace for Precinct 7, Place 1." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "EVERY WARM-BLOODED DEMOCRAT WHO SUPPORTS THE BLACK COMMUNITY SHOULD STAND WITH AFRICAN AMERICANS AND NOT VOTE FOR THIS 'ALLEGED' RACIST HISD TRUSTEE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2021 -- Elizabeth Santos has been forced into a Saturday, December 11, 2021, runoff in the HISD Board Trustee for District I race. This 'alleged' racist woman (HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos) should be voted out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021, when she faces off against Janette Garza Lindner in the runoff race for HISD Board Trustee for District I. So, just for the record, many leaders from within the Black community believe that this woman has repeatedly disrespected Black people, and has not acted in the best interests of Black students in any way, shape, or form. And on top of that, Trustee Santos even voted against removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent earlier this year. Do you remember how Trustee Elizabeth Santos treated Dr. Grenita Lathan with such disdain and disrespect. Remember how Trustee Elizabeth Santos treated Dr. Grenita Lathan like she was beneath her? Remember how how Trustee Elizabeth Santos voted to throw Dr. Grenita Lathan away like she was a piece of trash or something that was worthless? Well, in my opinion, Saturday, December 11, 2021, is the day when Democratic voters should stand with the Black community and throw this racist woman out of office. And don't forget early voting will begin on Monday, November 29, 2021, and end on Friday, December 7, 2021."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "EVERY DEMOCRAT WHO VALUES AND SUPPORTS THE BLACK COMMUNITY, OUR VOTE, AND OUR STRUGGLES SHOULD STAND-DOWN AND NOT VOTE FOR THIS 'ALLEGED' RACIST HISD TRUSTEE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2021 -- Sue Deigaard has been forced into a Saturday, December 11, 2021, runoff in the HISD Board Trustee for District V race. This 'alleged' racist woman (HISD Trustee Sue Deigaard) should be voted out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021, when she faces off against Caroline Walter in the runoff race for HISD Board Trustee for District V. So, just for the record, many leaders from within the Black community believe that this woman has repeatedly disrespected Black people, and has not acted in the best interests of Black students in any way, shape, or form. FORMER HISD BOARD PRESIDENT RHONDA SKILLERN JONES: “If I had been dehumanized and humiliated and disregarded and disrespected in the way that she (Dr. Grenita Lathan) has been over this entire tenure I would have walked away and taken some of the job offers I have personally seen her gotten over this time, but she cares enough about where she is and who she serves to stay even through that. That speaks to her character, said Rhonda Skillern-Jones, a former HISD Board President at the press conference held earlier this year. ***PUBLISHER'S NOTE FROM AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The racist HISD School Board Trustees who totally disrespected Dr. Grenita Lathan, eventually forced her out. However, that wasn't the end of the story for Dr. Grenita Lathan. Today, she serves as the superintendent of Missouri's largest school district, which serves 24,000 students and employs about 3,500 individuals. Dr. Lathan began her tenure at Springfield Public Schools July 1, 2021." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "DEMOCRATS FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE, ETHNICITIES, GENDERS, AND GENDER PREFERENCES WHO VALUE AND SUPPORT THE BLACK COMMUNITY, OUR VOTE, AND WHAT WE GO THROUGH DAILY MUST STAND-DOWN AND NOT VOTE FOR THIS 'ALLEGED' RACIST HISD TRUSTEE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2021 -- Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca has been forced into a Saturday, December 11, 2021, runoff in the HISD Board Trustee for District VI race. This 'alleged' racist woman (Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca) should be voted out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021, when she faces off against Kendall Baker in the runoff race for HISD Board Trustee for District VI. So, just for the record, many leaders from within the Black community believe that this woman has repeatedly disrespected Black people, and has not acted in the best interests of Black students in any way, shape, or form. AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Do you remember when this went down earlier this year? Do you remember when Black leaders like Bishop James Dixon, (second from left) Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz (at podium), and Dr. Rhonda Skillern Jones (far right) were front and center at "THE COALITION PRESS CONFERENCE" that was held in support of Dr. Grenita Lathan earlier this year? Now, according to Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz, the racist vote that was put forward by some members of the HISD School board earlier this year may have triggered what was supposed to be some sort of serious repercussions for some local elected officials. My question is will Saturday, December 11, 2021, be payback time? Now, in case you don't remember, the 6-3 vote against elevating Dr. Grenita Lathan to permanent status broke right along racial lines with the lone three Black HISD candidates being the only ones who believed that Dr. Lathan was good enough for the job. The other HISD Board members appeared at the time to have formed some sort of coalition of sorts against Dr. Grenita Lathan." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "NO REAL DEMOCRAT WHO SUPPORTS THE BLACK COMMUNITY SHOULD BE CASTING THEIR VOTE FOR ANN SUNG, HOLLY MARIA FLYNN VILASECA, ELIZABETH SANTOS, OR SUE DIEGAARD ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2021 -- Anne Sung has been forced into a Saturday, December 11, 2021, runoff in the HISD Board Trustee for District I race. This 'alleged' racist woman (HISD Trustee Anne Sung) should be voted out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021, when she faces off against Bridget Wade in the runoff race for HISD Board Trustee for District VII. So, just for the record, many leaders from within the Black community believe that this woman has repeatedly disrespected Black people, and has not acted in the best interests of Black students in any way, shape, or form. AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The lady you see on the left is Dr. Grenita Lathan. Now, she's moved on to a place where her experience is appreciated. However, that still does not negate the fact that there are three HISD Trustees who need to be thrown out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in the runoff elections for the HISD School Board. That being said, Gerry Wayne Monroe, is encouraging you to cast your vote for Caroline Walter in the Saturday, December 11, 2021, runoff race for HISD District V. And in the runoff race for HISD District VI, on Saturday, December 11, 2021, Gerry Wayne Monroe has endorsed Kendall Baker as his candidate of choice. And finally, in the race for HISD District VII, Gerry Wayne Monroe has endorsed Bridget Wade, as his candidate of choice. DR. GRENITA LATHAN WAS VICTIMIZED BY THE FOUR HISD TRUSTEES WHO ARE IN THE SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11TH RUNOFF ELECTION

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "What are we going to do on Saturday, December 11, 2021, whereas HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos, HISD Trustee Sue Diegaard, HISD Trustee Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca, and HISD Trustee Ann Sung are concerned? “We will not allow her to be discriminated against because she is Black. We believe that if Dr. Lathan was Hispanic she would be the Superintendent today, said Bishop James Dixon representing the NAACP Houston Chapter at the “COALITION PRESS CONFERENCE” that was held to bring attention to what appeared to be racist actions that prohibited Dr. Grenita Lathan from being named the permanent superintendent, earlier this year. Now, in my opinion talk is cheap!!! We must band together and throw Santos, Diegaard, Vilaseca, and Sung out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021. ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

DR. GRENITA LATHAN WAS MISTREATED BY THE FOUR HISD TRUSTEES WHO ARE IN THE SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11TH RUNOFF ELECTION

THE COALITION PRESS CONFERENCE: “If I had been dehumanized and humiliated and disregarded and disrespected in the way that she has been over this entire tenure I would have walked away and taken some of the job offers I have personally seen her gotten over this time, but she cares enough about where she is and who she serves to stay even through that. BLACK LEADERS CAME TOGETHER EARLIER THIS YEAR AND FOUGHT BACK AGAINST THE FOUR RACIST HISD BOARD MEMBERS WHO ARE IN THE DECEMBER 11TH RUNOFF ELECTION

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "It made me very proud to see State Rep. Ron Reynolds (D-House District 27) and a host of other Black leaders stand up and fight back against what the racist HISD Board Members were doing to Dr. Grenita Lathan. A few of the other leaders (besides State Rep. Reynolds) who stood up for Dr. Grenita Lathan were as follows: Bishop James Dixon, II, U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, U.S. Rep. Alexander Green, Texas State Senator Borris L. Miles, State Rep. Harold Dutton, State Rep. Senfronia Thompson, Dr. Alma Allen, Dr. Max Miller, Pastor Harvey Clemmons, Bishop Johnny Tates, Pastor Carl Davis, Bishop Leroy Woodard, Dr. SJ Gilbert, II, and Activist Deric Muhammad, just to name a few. ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

Dr. Lathan Was Utterly Disrespected by the Four Racist HISD Trustees Who Will Be on the Saturday, December 11th Runoff Election Ballot

AUBREY R. TAYLOR©

It’s time for African Americans to become more intentional about our goals. And there’s no better time to start than on Saturday, December 11, 2021 in the , HISD School Board Runoff Elections by rejecting the four HISD School Board Trustees who have repeated voted against us as a community. Why? Well, the problems at (HISD) Houston Independent School District, (HCC) Houston Community College, and the recent systematic skipping of local down-ballot Black judicial candidates in Harris County could be the signs of a major clash between the Black and Hispanic communities. Look, to be brutally honest, some of the things we are witnessing being done to African Americans are only being done because the people committing the acts believe that they have the support of the Blacks who matter as far as they are concerned from what I can see right now. That’s the only logical reason I can find at this moment – someone or someone(s) somewhere are giving a green light to people to mistreat us. And this must STOP!!! ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

Elizabeth Santos is the HISD Board Trustee for District I. She voted against removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. Everybody who cares about the Black community, Black students, and the struggles African Americans have faced as it relates to discrimination should either "STAND-DOWN" and not vote, or cast your vote for Janette Garza Lindner in the race for HISD District I on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Kathy Blueford-Daniels is the HISD Board Trustee for District II. She voted in favor of removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. In my opinion, Trustee Kathy Blueford Daniels is doing a pretty good job but is only able to do so much with the numbers stacked against her. Trustee Kathy Blueford-Daniels defeated John Curtis Gibbs in a runoff election back in 2019 to win this seat. That being said, the turnout in races for this seat is typically low. For instance, back in 2019, in case you don’t know, 88,792 registered voters were living in District II, but only 18,550 voters cast a ballot in the race for Houston ISD, Trustee for District II.

Daniela “Dani” Hernandez is the HISD Board Trustee for District III. She voted against removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. In my opinion, the right candidate can beat Trustee Hernandez at the ballot box. Back in 2019, in case you don’t know, 57,063 registered voters were living in District III. However, only 8,916 voters cast a ballot in the race for Houston ISD, Trustee for District III.

Patricia K. Allen is the HISD Board Trustee for District IV. She voted in favor of removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. I don’t know, Trustee Patricia K. Allen, but from what I can see from a distance she appears to be trying to stand up for all HISD students. Trustee Allen defeated Matt Barns in a runoff election back in 2019 to win this seat. That being said, the turnout in races for this seat is typically extremely low. For instance, back in 2019, in case you don’t know, 106,384 registered voters were living in District IV, but only 24,904 voters cast a ballot in the race for Houston ISD, Trustee for District IV.

Sue Deigaard is the HISD Board Trustee for District V. She voted against removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. Everybody who cares about the Black community, Black students, and the struggles African Americans have faced as it relates to discrimination should either "STAND-DOWN" and not vote, or cast your vote for Caroline Walter in the race for HISD District V on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca is the HISD Board Trustee for District VI. She voted against removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. Everybody who cares about the Black community, Black students, and the struggles African Americans have faced as it relates to discrimination should either "STAND-DOWN" and not vote, or cast your vote for Kendall Baker in the race for HISD District VI on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Anne Sung is the HISD Board Trustee for District VII. She voted against removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. Everybody who cares about the Black community, Black students, and the struggles African Americans have faced as it relates to discrimination should either "STAND-DOWN" and not vote, or cast your vote for Bridget Wade in the race for HISD District VII on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Judith Cruz is the HISD Board Trustee for District VIII. She voted against removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. In my opinion, the right candidate can beat Trustee Cruz at the ballot box. Back in 2019, in case you don’t know, 80,414 registered voters were living in District VIII. However, only 16,698 voters cast a ballot in the race for Houston ISD, Trustee for District VIII.

Wanda Adams stepped down earlier this year as the HISD Board Trustee for District IX to prepare herself to serve as the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 7, Place 1. However, before she stepped down, she voted in favor of removing the interim tag from Dr. Grenita Lathan’s name and giving her the permanent job as HISD Superintendent. I think that Justice of the Peace Wanda Adams is doing an excellent job in her new position. She unseated Judge Jeremy Brown in the 2020 Democratic Party primary to win this seat.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for the people. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must endeavor to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment during the history of our great nation."

We Must Make it Our Business to Nominate the Right Democratic and Republican Candidates in the Upcoming 2022 Primary Elections

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
