1960s Strategy from Democratic Playbook Did Not Work in FBISD Trustee Race on Sat., May 1st

"The strategy people like Lynn Clouser (left), the Missouri City Council At-Large Position #2 councilwoman, and State Representative Ron Reynolds (HD-27) a lifelong Democrat tried to use in the race for Fort Bend ISD Trustee for Position #6 to help FBISD Trustee Addie Heyliger win -- didn't work. And in my opinion the strategy that these two politicians used from the Democratic playbook has gotten old. In fact, their strategy has also gotten stale if you ask me -- and it's played out too!!! Listen up!!! Every incumbent planning to run for re-election in 2022 had better understand that -- YOU MUST RUN YOUR RACE DIFFERENTLY WHEN YOU ARE THE SITTING INCUMBENT SEEKING RE-ELECTION!!! Why? Well, the candidate who is being hunted (running for re-election) is at a disadvantage! That being said, if the Fort Bend County Republican Party Chairwoman (Linda Howell), and the Harris County Chairwoman (Cindy Seigel) get their ballot matchups right for the 2022 Midterms, we could see some major upsets up and down the ballot next year in Harris County and Fort Bend County!!! Yes -- I said that -- and I meant it too."

WOW!!! Kristen Davison Malone (left) and her team got the job done. And yes, that's former Missouri City Mayor Allen Owen back there holding that campaign sign. So, look out Fort Bend County, Kristen Davison Malone's victory could serve as compelling proof that change could be in the air.

1960s Follow the Leader Strategy from Democrat Playbook Didn't Work in FBISD Board Trustee Race on May 1st

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

The performance put on by Kristen Davison Malone in the race for Fort Bend ISD should serve as a wakeup call for every Democrat who will be seeking re-election in the 2022 Midterm Elections in Fort Bend County and Harris County, Texas. Why? Well, because defeating Trustee Addie Heyliger on Saturday, May 1, 2021, is a much bigger deal than some folks are going to want you to believe as the 2022 Midterms draw nearer. Listen up!!! No doubt about it, every Democrat who will be seeking re-election in the 2022 Midterms in Fort Bend County had better get to work right now! They had better prepare to run their own race by branding themselves! And they had better not only seek to appeal to the Fort Bend Democratic Party faithful; but had better broaden their appeal to voters who don’t vote along party lines. And yes!!! The same goes for all of the Democrats who will be running for re-election in Harris County, Texas in my opinion – but that’s a story for another day. As for now, I would like to take this moment to congratulate Kristen Davison Malone and her team on her “ELECTION NIGHT” victory in the race for Fort Bend ISD Trustee for Position 6, last night. In case you don’t know, Kristen Davison Malone finished with 4,345 votes to handily defeated FBISD Trustee Addie Heliger, who finished second with 3,221 votes; Stephanie Brown, who finished with 1,704 votes; former Trustee Alison Drew, who finished with 1,263 votes; Rafat Ulain Julani who finished with 1,048 votes and Edtrina Moss, who finished with 233 votes to round out the field of six candidates.

MEET KRISTEN DAVISON MALONE

According to her website, Kristen Davison Malone was born and raised in Fort Bend County and, along with her husband Scott, has chosen to continue that legacy with her own family. In fact, her two children will follow their parents in being proud FBISD graduates beginning in 2030.

While Kristen has always respected education, it was when her eldest child was approaching kindergarten that she refocused her attention to her local neighborhood school. Quickly, Kristen began to see some of the complicated problems her school leaders faced. As many friends and neighbors considered private schools or relocation to other neighborhoods with "better schools", Kristen felt a renewed commitment to her belief that EVERYONE should have access to a great public school education.

After volunteering as an elementary reading mentor, getting involved with several community groups and working directly with various school leaders, Kristen believes she is most likely to influence positive changes for FBISD by serving as a school board trustee. As a trustee, she will be guided by her belief that individuals want the opportunity to be a part of a community and contribute in a meaningful way. And, a solid education provides the means to do so.

Kristen's experience in business and volunteerism have prepared her to succeed in serving as a trustee. She is the VP of Finance at CME Printing, Inc. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University, is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and is a strong supporter of several industry organizations.

Outside of work, Kristen is a life-time member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She is also a supporter of the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society. Today, Kristen focuses her volunteer efforts on her children’s local schools and activities.

"Many Democratic incumbents in Harris County and Fort Bend County are sitting ducks right now. Many of the strategies these guys are using over and over again are played out and stale! They are trying to run the same play over and over again from their 1960s playbook. And if they are not careful they're going get trounced in the 2022 Midterm Elections in Harris County and Fort Bend County! Especially if they don't go out and find themselves some real political consultants."

The “Sisterhood Series” Features 70 Powerful Texas Women You Should Know Who Are Doing Their Own Thing

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I would like to take this moment to introduce our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” to you. This empowerment movement is being launched to highlight a few powerful Texas women who are doing their own thing in legal, political, and public relations fields throughout the Lone Star State. Now, while this powerful group of women is being brought to you as a corporate body, our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” should not be misconstrued as identity/gender politics in any way, shape, or form. Why? Well, all of the featured women in this series are (in their own unique way) some of the best and brightest women in America. So, recognizing these women as part of our SISTERHOOD SERIES” is our way of applauding each of them for their courage, tenacity, and ability to compete in what has traditionally been a man’s world.

TRUTH OF THE MATTER

If we’re honest with ourselves, we all know that women are still fighting an uphill battle in politics as well as inside boardrooms across America. So, let's not forget – it wasn’t long ago that women were guaranteed the right to vote. In case you don’t know, the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote was only the beginning of a much longer fight that women are continuing to fight on the campaign trail, in board rooms, and while living their everyday lives.

A VERY UNIQUE BOND

Each segment of our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” will highlight a “FEATURED SPONSOR” on the cover, and sixty-nine sitting incumbent Democratic and Republican members of the judiciary inside. So, as a community of women, each of the sixty-nine women featured as the “BODY OF THE SERIES” are linked together by their common successes in the rough and tumble world of Texas politics. Now, you can bet your bottom dollar, that some of these women will be endorsed by Houston Business Connections Newspaper©, in 2022 and 2024 “ELECTION GUIDES” when they appear on the ballot. However, unfortunately, some of these women will not make the cut. So, please do not forget that the deadline to run for political office in the “2022 MIDTERM ELECTIONS” is on Monday, December 13, 2021, in Texas. And, if you are a woman or man who is planning to run for office in 2022, you must sign up by Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00 pm. So, if you are not sure, what position you should run for in the Democratic Party Primary or Republican Party Primary, please call (281)788-3033, and I will try to assist you in any way I can.

MINISTERS OF JUSTICE

Every judge in America takes an oath of office and solemnly swears that they will administer justice without respect to persons and that they will do equal right to the poor and to the rich alike. So, the “MINISTERS OF JUSTICE” you see listed below, have all promised to faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon them under the United States Constitution and the laws that govern us as a free nation when they were elected. And each of them did so before the LORD God Almighty. Now, that being said, nowhere in their promise was their political party affiliation, sorority, socio-economic status, or ethnicity mentioned. So, let’s do our best going forward, to elect the “BEST AND BRIGHTEST” women and men who are committed to handing out even-handed justice to every person who enters their courtroom.

Nominating the Wrong Candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" Could Have Disastrous Consequences in the November 2022 General Election in Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.

THINKING ABOUT RUNNING?

If you are a candidate planning to run for office in 2022, you have to select the right candidate to run against. And the second most important thing to understand is that you have to select your race early, to avoid ending up in a crowded field of candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" in Harris County, Texas. So, if you need assistance trying to determine which race to enter, please call (281)788-3033, and I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have.
