She wants to be the next Houston City Council District B representative. Can she achieve her goal? I’m glad you asked. I’ve been watching the District B race for several months now. And if you ask me, Renee Jefferson Smith is uniquely positioned as the front-runner in this race as the start of early voting draws nearer. However, you can’t count out Alvin Byrd, Prince E.W. Bryant, Tarsha Jackson, Robin J. Anderson, or Karen “KKC” Kossie Chernyshev. I truly believe that a runoff is inevitable in this race.
