Commissioner Ellis Has Endorsed former Judge Lesley Briones in the Upcoming 2022 Democratic Party Primary Race for Precinct #4

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Straight out of the gate, I have the utmost respect and admiration for former Judge Lesley Briones. But I also like Harris County Commissioner R. Jack Cagle. However, I don't know if I would bet against Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis on this one. Do you see that young lady on the far left above, pictured with Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis? Well, that young lady has decided to not run for re-election as Judge for Harris County Civil Court at Law #4, a bench that she was appointed to by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, and Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, after former Judge William Bill McCleod accidently resigned from his bench. What's her plan for the 2022 Midterms? Well, former Judge Lesley Briones, has decided to run for the (newly drawn) Harris County Commissioner for Precinct #4 seat that's currently being held by Republican Harris County Commissioner R. Jack Cagle in the upcoming 2022  Midterm Election. That being said, her name will appear on the "SUPER TUESDAY" Harris County Democratic Party ballot."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In case you haven't heard, Harris County Commissioner R. Jack Cagle is going to have to run for re-election in a (newly drawn) Precinct #4, in the upcoming 2022 Midterm Election for Harris County, Texas."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The pathway to re-election just got tougher for this dude. That being said, if Harris County Commissioner R. Jack Cagle does not spend a lot of time and money expanding his base in the (newly drawn) Harris County Commissioner for Precinct #4 area, he's going to have a tough time in his bid to hold onto his seat in the upcoming 2022 Midterm Election, especially if he's matched up against former Judge Lesley Briones, who should easily win the Democratic nomination."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "If you ask me, former Judge Lesley Briones, pictured above with Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, is sitting in the catbird seat right now. How? Well, this (newly drawn) Harris County Commissioner for Precinct #4 map was drawn to favor a candidate like her. I mean, this new map has been drawn in such a way that has shifted Commissioner Jack Cagle's Precinct #4 from the north area of Harris County clear over to the west area. So, in essence, Commissioner Cagle is going to have to pretty much start all over by re-introducing himself to his constituent base -- which put's him at a huge disadvantage against former Judge Lesley Briones, in my opinion."

A Special Message from Former Judge Lesley Briones We Found Posted to Her Facebook Page

Lesley Briones·

Exciting news! Today, I announce my candidacy for Harris County Commissioner, Precinct 4. I am honored to have the support of County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and County Commissioner Adrian Garcia.

I have devoted my career to helping people – and serving as a county commissioner will allow me to help improve people’s lives in a more direct, impactful way.

Together, we can build a county government that keeps our families safe, protects our homes from flooding, expands access to health care, treats everyone fairly, and creates good jobs that help our families thrive.

I have been represented by the current Precinct 4 commissioner for the last ten years. In that time, Harris County has changed – and now is the time for new leadership that will get better results for our community.

As part of this transition, I have resigned from my position as judge, and will continue serving until my successor is appointed. It has been a tremendous honor to advance equal justice on the bench, and I look forward to building upon my experience as we work to create a safer, healthier, and more prosperous Harris County for all.

County Commissioner Adrian García made the following statement:

I enthusiastically give my full support to Judge Lesley Briones in her campaign for County Commissioner, Precinct 4. Lesley’s professional qualifications and life experiences make her the best qualified to confront the issues facing Precinct 4 and all of Harris County – from public safety and flooding to health care and jobs. I am unequivocally all in for Lesley!

County Commissioner Rodney Ellis made the following statement:

I am proud to endorse Judge Lesley Briones for County Commissioner, Precinct 4. Lesley’s proven values of fairness and equal justice, combined with her proven skills at getting results for children, seniors, and families, will help keep Harris County safe, healthy, and thriving for all our residents.

Together, we will do this!

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "I ran across this logo on the Facebook page for former Judge Lesley Briones. As I've already stated, she's running for the Harris County Commissioner for Precinct #4 seat on "SUPER TUESDAY" in the Harris County Democratic Party Primary. That being said, the filing deadline to have your name placed on the upcoming Harris County Democratic Party ballot is on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00pm. So, for more information you should contact the Harris County Democratic Party by calling (713)802-0085 before December 13th."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In case you haven't heard, Martina Lemond Dixon, is fed up and has thrown her hat in the ring for a chance to win the Harris County Republican Party nomination on "SUPER TUESDAY" in the race for Harris County Judge. If she can win the Republican nomination she will face off against Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, or whomever emerges from the Harris County Democratic Party Primary as the nominee."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In case you haven't heard, Houston City Councilman Greg Travis, has stepped down from his post, to run for the State Representative for House District 133 seat on "SUPER TUESDAY" in the upcoming Republican Party Primary."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The dude you see on the left in the glasses is a well-known Houston area attorney by the name of Eric Dick. And the dude you see on pictured on the right is a former Houston City Councilman by the name of Bert Keller. Now, in case you haven't heard, Bert Keller is running for the State Representative for House District 133 seat on "SUPER TUESDAY" in the upcoming Republican Party Primary."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In case you haven't heard, former Houston City Councilman Bert Keller will be running for the State Representative for House District 133 seat on "SUPER TUESDAY" in the upcoming Republican Party Primary for Texas."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "That tall guy you see talking with former Houston City Councilman Bert Keller, is one of my most favorite people in the whole world. You would be hard-pressed to find a better man in this world that former Judge Loyd Wright. Now, in case you don't know, former Judge Loyd Wright will be on the ballot seeking to reclaim his rightful place as the presiding judge for Harris County Probate Court #1, in the upcoming 2022 Midterm Election."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Do you see that cool cat in the cowboy hat? Well, that dude is a straight-up good guy. Councilman Mike Knox, just like former Judge Loyd Wright is one of my most favorite people in the whole wide world. You would be hard-pressed to find better men in this world than former Judge Loyd Wright, and Councilman Mike Knox. Now, in case you don't know, Councilman Mike Knox is term-limited and cannot run for re-election as the At-Large Position #1 City Councilman on Houston City Council. His term will expire in the 2023 General Election for the City of Houston."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "From what I hear, the Harris County Republican Party is about to put forth one of the most diverse field of candidates than it ever has at any point before. That being said, re-branding itself as the, "GREATER OPPORTUNITY PARTY" I believe that the 2022 Midterm Elections could hold some surprises, upsets, and pathways to greater opportunity for people who dare to believe."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Please don't forget that the upcoming runoff election to decide the HISD School Board races will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021. So, just for the record, the early voting period will begin on Monday, November 29, 2021, and end on Tuesday, December 7, 2021."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Every warm-blooded American residing inside of HISD District I, HISD District V, HISD District VI, and HISD District VII, strongly encouraged to cast your vote for Janette Garza Lindner in the runoff race for HISD District I, Caroline Walter in the runoff race for District V, Dr. Kendall Baker in the runoff race for District VI, and Bridget Wade in the runoff race for District VII, on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Now, that being said, I can't find any logical reason why any Democratic voter, Republican voter, Independent voter, Libertarian voter, or Green Party voter would want to cast their ballot for any of the four incumbent HISD Trustees who are in the fight of their political lives right now."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for the people. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must endeavor to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment during the history of our great nation."

We Must Make it Our Business to Nominate the Right Democratic and Republican Candidates in the Upcoming 2022 Primary Elections

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
