Every 2022 Midterm Election Candidate Had Better Pay Attention to the HISD School Board Runoff Results Tonight

DR. KENDALL BAKER: "Tonight is a big night for Bridget Wade, myself, and my daughter Kennedi. A vote for Dr. Kendall Baker for HISD Trustee VI is a vote for the present and future of our children. As a proud father, I am duly responsible and committed to helping our child be successful in every area of life from the developmental stages and beyond. Children are our future leaders and I am committed to being your voice to eliminate the failing stigma that has overshadowed the district for far too long."

Every 2022 Midterm Election Candidate in Texas Had Better Pay Close Attention to the HISD School Board Runoff Results Later Tonight

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I once read a passage of scripture in the Holy Bible when I was a child growing up that said, "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." Now, if my memory serves me right, I believe that passage can be found in the BOOK OF PROVERBS in the 16TH CHAPTER and 18TH VERSE inside the King James Version. Why am I quoting scripture today? Well, I want you to know that God Almighty isn't asleep today. LISTEN UP!!! God is the controller of outcomes, and He allows things to happen here on the earth that we might not understand at the time they're taking place. Now, as I say this, I need for you to understand, that there are a lot of folks who are running for office to make themselves rich and powerful. Then there are others who run for office because they are commanded to do so by political party bosses, but that's a story for another day. Anyways, after you read this report, I need for you to pray for Dr. Kendall Baker and his beautiful daughter Kennedi, as they strive to unseat HISD Trustee Holly Vilaseca in the HISD District VI runoff race today. And while you're at it, I implore you to also say a special prayer for my good friend, and client, Bridget Wade, as she strives to unseat HISD Trustee Anne Sung in the HISD District VII runoff race today.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "In case you haven't noticed Cindy Siegel, has successfully rebranded the Harris County Republican Party as "GREATER OPPORTUNITY PARTY" since taking over the helm. And she's played a significant role in helping to uniquely position Dr. Kendall Baker, as your next HISD Trustee for District VI. And that being said, on Monday, December 13, 2021, when the filing deadline for the 2022 Midterm Election expires at 6:00p.m., Cindy Siegel, and her "GREATER OPPORTUNITY PARTY" will put for the most diverse field of potential nominees, ever assembled in the history of the Harris County Republican Party."

The GOP Has Rebranded Itself as "THE GREATER OPPORTUNITY" Heading into the 2022 Midterm Election

In case you didn't know, according to the Republican Party of Texas website, "Without a doubt, Texas is the strongest Republican state in the nation. The people of Texas have entrusted Republicans with the stewardship of every statewide elected office and majorities in the state senate, state house, and on the state board of education. Republicans now have majorities in 107 Texas counties that contain nearly two-thirds of the state’s population. And Texas’ own George W. Bush was the 43rd President of the United States.

But things haven’t always been so great for Texas Republicans. For over one hundred years, the Republican Party was not a viable force in Texas politics. We were the second party in a one-party state. During that time, the GOP failed to win a single statewide race and controlled only a handful of seats in the Legislature."

African Americans were one group of Texans that would consistently support the Republican Party in Texas in those early years. In fact, throughout Reconstruction, African Americans comprised about 90% of GOP membership, and 44 African Americans served in the Texas legislature as Republicans.

It was through the hard work of a number of dedicated African American men and women that the earliest foundations of the Republican Party of Texas were laid. The first-ever state Republican convention that met in Houston on July 4, 1867, was predominantly African American in composition, with about 150 African American Texans attending, and 20 Anglos.

The second State GOP Chairman, Norris Wright Cuney, an African-American from Galveston who led the Republican Party from 1883 to 1897, is said by State historians to have held “the most important political position given to a black man of the South in the nineteenth century.”

DR. KENDALL BAKER: "As a proud father I am duly responsible and committed to helping our children to be successful in every area of life. Children are our future leaders and I am committed to being their voice to eliminate the failing stigma that has overshadowed the Houston Independent School District for way too long," says Dr. Baker."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for the people. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must endeavor to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment during the history of our great nation."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "If Conservatives come away with one victory out of the three races, it’s a “BIG WIN” for Cindy Siegel. And if two of the GOP-endorsed “HISD RUNOFF CANDIDATES” come away with victories on Saturday, December 11, 2021, it signals, that Harris County, Texas will definitely be in play going forward into the 2022 Midterms."

THE BIG THREE IN HISD

Make no mistake about it, there’s a lot riding on Saturday, December 11, 2021, whereas Caroline Walter, Dr. Kendall Baker, and Bridget Wade are concerned. But if you ask me, all three of these Harris County GOP-endorsed “HISD RUNOFF CANDIDATES” have already proven that they are winners. Now, that being said, all three have their work cut out for them on Saturday. What am I talking about? Well, first off, Caroline Walter is trying to unseat a Democratic incumbent (Sue Deigaard), in a predominantly Democratic voter district, so her pathway is a little tougher than that of Dr. Kendall Baker, and Bridget Wade, who by most accounts could be leading their runoff races. Secondly, Democrats already hold every seat on what’s supposed to be a non-partisan HISD School Board. That being said, if Conservatives come away with one victory out of the three races, it’s a “BIG WIN” for Cindy Siegel. And if two of the GOP-endorsed “HISD RUNOFF CANDIDATES” come away with victories on Saturday, December 11, 2021, it signals, that Harris County, Texas will definitely be in play going forward into the 2022 Midterms.
