Black Girl Magic Judge Angela Graves Harrington Is Being Sued in Federal Court for Violating the Civil Rights of Jamil Smith

Judge Angela Graves Harrington, the presiding judge for the 246th Family District Court has found herself in a situation where she’s about to be under a lot of different scrutiny. According to court documents, a hearing has been set for August 30, 2022, at 2:00 pm, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas that’s presided over by the Honorable Keith P. Ellison.
The federal case civil rights case against this “BLACK GIRL MAGIC JUDGE” is being brought by an African American male by the name of Jamil Smith. “I need help, my children have been stolen from me by Judge Angela Graves Harrington in the 246th Harris County District Court in Houston, Texas,” he says. “My constitutional rights were violated severely,” said Jamil Smith, in his pleading.
His cry for help was initially addressed to, “Anyone Who Can Help Save My Children,” and was received in chambers back on March 28, 2022, by the Honorable Lee. Rosenthal, the chief U.S. District Judge.
After reviewing his plea for help, it appears that Jamil Smith is growing weary and has totally lost faith in the judicial system. In fact, he stated, “Because Judge Yahaira Quezada my faith in the justice system is broken in this country where I have lived my entire life.”
“I have nothing but tears, prayers, hope, and my strong belief that someone, anyone will be my angel of the law and rescue my children from this traumatizing ordeal,” he said in his pleading.
He went on to say, “My constitutional rights were stripped away from me as if I had been snatched from a foreign land brought here and denied citizenship,” he states.
“Please I am begging on bended knee for help,” he said on (PAGE ONE OF EIGHT), in pleading. “I am not asking for any favors only for you to look at the events that have taken place and read my story and investigate,” says Smith. “…If there were no wrongs committed, no constitutional rights violated then you have my deepest apologies,” he explains before telling his story.

Yesterday was a big day for “THE PROTEST AGAINST CORRUPT JUDGES” at the Harris County Civil Courthouse. A bunch of literature promoting “GOOD JUDGES” and “THE 2022 GOP NOMINEES” was passed out to people going and coming. Award-winning “INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST” Wayne Dolcefino also stopped by to take photos and some video clips of the protest.
In case you don't know him, Wayne Dolcefino is one of the nation’s most decorated journalists. According to his website, Wayne has received, "Thirty Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Five Charles Green Awards, an Edward R. Murrow award, a Jack Howard Award for investigative reporting, numerous honors from the Associated Press and Texas Association of Broadcasters, and an unprecedented three medals from the international journalism organization Investigative Reporters and Editors."
His website also states that “For nearly 27 years, Dolcefino headed up the 13 Undercover Unit at ABC13 KTRK-TV Eyewitness News.” For those of you who don’t know, “The 13 Undercover investigative unit specialized in exposing public corruption, wasted taxpayer money, government malfeasance, and fraud.”
“As head of the unit, Dolcefino managed the investigative process and was involved in the marketing and advertising of KTRK-TV’s investigative news product,” his website states.
Over the last couple of years, Dolcefino has been fighting the same judicial system as the protesters. You could tell that he was right at home. Anyways, as “THE PROTEST AGAINST CORRUPT JUDGES” continues through Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Harris County, it would be nice to see Dolcefino use his platform to also expose some of the corruption that he’s witnessed first-hand over the years.
