Jacquie Baly Maintained Her Perfect 2017 Endorsement Record With Wins by Mayor Tom Reid and Carol McCutcheon

CANDIDATES ENDORSED BY JACQUIE BALY IN THE 2017 ELECTION CYCLE: Newly Elected Mayor Chuck Brawner, Re-Elected Mayor Susan V. Sample, Re-Elected Mayor Tom Reid, Re-Elected Trustee Jason Burdine, Re-Elected Council Member Gary Moore, and Newly Elected Council Member Carol McCutcheon were all winners during the recent 2017 General Election Cycle.

Every Candidate Endorsed by FOX 26 Political Analyst Jacquie Baly in the 2017 Election Cycle Won; HBC Magazine “Power Rankings” Performed Brilliantly As "OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES" Rolled to Victory in the Saturday, June 10th Pearland and Sugar Land Runoff Elections

REPORT by AUBREY R. TAYLOR

Before I get started, I would like to first thank FOX 26 Political Analyst Jacquie Baly for not being afraid to publicly endorse candidates prior to Election Day! I would also like to congratulate her on producing a “PERFECT ENDORSEMENT RECORD” for the “2017 GENERAL ELECTION CYCLE” in the Houston area. Yes, every candidate endorsed by Jacquie Baly in 2017 won! In case you haven’t been keeping track, she endorsed: Chuck Brawnerwho is now the Mayor of Katy, Texas; She endorsed Mayor Susan V. Samplewho went on to win her bid for re-election as Mayor of West University Place; She endorsed Fort Bend ISD Trustee Jason Burdinewho went on to win his re-election bid as the FBISD Trustee for Position #1; She endorsed Councilman Gary Moore -- who went on to win his re-election bid as Pearland City Council Member for Position #3 back on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in key General Elections races for the Houston area.

MAYOR TOM REID AND CAROL McCUTCHEON WERE BOTH ENDORSED BY JACQUIE BALY AND WON THEIR SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 2017 RUNOFF RACES IN PEARLAND AND SUGAR LAND

Mayor Tom Reid was initially endorsed by Jacquie Baly back in the Saturday, May 6, 2017 General Election race for Mayor of Pearland – but he was forced into a runoff. So she "RE-ENDORSED" Mayor Tom Reid in the Saturday, June 10, 2017 General Election Runoff -- which he won in convincing fashion over his challenger Quentin Wiltz. She also threw her support behind Carol McCutcheon in the race for Sugar Land City Council District #4 – who also finished the night ahead of her opponent, Qaisar Q. Imam in convincing fashion. So, the victories by Mayor Tom Reid in Pearland, Texas and Carol McCutcheon in Sugar Land, Texas gave Jacquie Baly an “UNBLEMINSHED” endorsement record of: (6 WINS AND 0 DEFEATS). In case you don’t already know, Jacquie Baly is a successful businesswoman and very "OUTSPOKEN" Political Analyst for FOX 26. She's currently a co-host of FOX 26 KRIV’s The RoundUp which airs every Sunday morning 6 AM – 8 AM. And her company, BalyProjects was founded back in 1999 with the objective of providing public affairs, public policy and planning services to individuals, institutions, small businesses, government and corporations.

HOW “OUR POWER RANKING SYSTEM” PERFORMED FOR MAYOR TOM REID IN PEARLAND, TEXAS ON JUNE 10TH

MAYOR TOM REID VERSUS QUENTIN WILTZ

Mayor Tom Reid was our "PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE" in the race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas on Saturday, June 10, 2017 -- and he didn't disappoint. The "UNOFFICIAL CUMULATIVE REPORT" published by the Brazoria County Clerk shows Mayor Tom Reid with 7,960 votes for 59.37% of the vote and Quentin Wiltz with 5,447 votes for 40.63% to close out the "2017 Municipal Election" season for Pearland, Texas.

MAYOR TOM REID HAD A MUCH STRONGER TEAM & NONPARTISAN OUTREACH STRATEGY IN PEARLAND, TEXAS

Yes, there was a record turnout for the City of Pearland, Texas. However, there were still over 55,849 registered voters who didn’t go to the polls to exercise their right to vote for one reason or another! Based on the turnout numbers, 13,437 registered voters took part in the Saturday, June 10, 2017 General Runoff Election for a 19.39% turnout, according to the Brazoria County Clerk. OUR "PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES" WON BOTH RACES IN PEARLAND, TEXAS

A quick review of the “UNOFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT” for the Saturday, June 10, 2017 City of Pearland General Election race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas clearly shows how accurately the newly created Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM” performed as Mayor Tom Reid rolled to victory over his hungry challenger – just as “OUR POWER RANKINGS” predicted that he would prior to Election Day! Quentin Wiltz tried to use Facebook, Twitter, Majic 102 radio commercials, CNN television commercials – and knocking on as many doors as he possibly could -- but nothing worked. Nope! Nothing he tried could rescue him from the result predicted by the Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM” which accurately gauged and identified the strengths and weaknesses of both candidates prior to the start of Early Voting. Not only that: “OUR POWER RANKING SYSTEM” also accurately identified the “BATTLEGROUND PRECINCTS” where “CROSSOVER VOTERS LIVED” and we "OPENLY PUBLISHED" our findings for "EVERY CAMPAIGN" to review during the "EARLY VOTING" process in Pearland, Texas.

"OUR POWER RANKING SYSTEM" CORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT MAYOR TOM REID WOULD BE ABLE CROSS THE "POLITICAL DIVIDE" WITH OUR BRANDING ASSISTANCE

VALUING "EVERY" VOTE MATTERS

The Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKINGS” accurately determined that Mayor Tom Reid and Woody Owens "OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES" both had a lot of supporters in “EVERY VOTER PRECINCT” across the city of Pearland, Texas. These “POWER RANKINGS” also showed us that Mayor Tom Reid would more than likely beat his challenger Quentin Wiltz and pull Woody Owens to victory right along with him by winning: Precinct 12, Precinct 13, Precinct 26, Precinct 27, Precinct 28, Precinct 36, Precinct 46, Precinct 47, Precinct 51, Precinct 52, Precinct 61, Precinct 537 and Precinct 654 on Saturday, June 10, 2017. As “EARLY VOTING” went along “OUR POWER RANKINGS” began to confirm our theory that Mayor Tom Reid would “RUN VERY COMPETITIVELY” in the following “VOTER PRECINCTS" on Saturday, June 10, 2017: Precinct 44, Precinct 60, Precinct 62, and Precinct 762. So we already knoew that there was pretty much no pathway to victory for Quentin Wiltz and Dalia Kasseb in the race for Mayor of Pearland,or the race for Pearland City Council Position #7 before "ELECTION DAY" even arrived.

HAVING LEISHA SOPHIA D'ANGELO IN HIS CORNER REALLY HELPED MAYOR TOM REID IN THE HEAT OF THE BATTLE

MAYOR TOM REID AND LEISHA SOPHIA D'ANGELO

In case you don't know, Leisha Sophia D'Angelo was the "CAMPAIGN MANAGER" for Mayor Tom Reid. She assembled an awesome team around her and handled the attacks lodged against her and Mayor Tom Reid with dignity and class. She was also a very good listener -- which is a very valuable characteristic to posses. So, I would like to take this moment to "PUBLICLY THANK" her and Mayor Tom Reid for valuing "OUR ADVICE ALONG THE WAY" and the vote, prayers and support of Houston Business Connections Magazine© readers as well. And above all else, for "VALUING THE VOTE OF EVERY PEARLANDER" without respect to race, creed, political ideology, party affiliation, or socioeconomic status. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS!

KASSEB WAS NEVER THE FRONT-RUNNER

In case you don't know, Dalia Kasseb was never the front-runner in the race for the newly created Pearland City Council Position #7 seat. This seat was always going to eventually be won by either Woody Owens or Sherry Stockwell based on our research and polling of likely voters in key precincts. Mrs. Stockwell was the candidate who finished third back in the general election – then, she joined G.C. Sonny Atkins and Terry Gray to endorse Woody Owens over Dalia Kasseb . Even a “POLITICAL NEWBIE” should have been able to see that the numbers just did not add up for Dalia Kasseb. So stop it! Dalia Kasseb was never the front-runner in the race for the newly created council seat.

WHY DID KASSEB FINISHED FIRST BACK IN THE SATURDAY, MAY 6, 2017 GENERAL ELECTION IN PEARLAND, TEXAS?

MOST DEMOCRATS VOTED FOR DALIA KASSEB

Look, Dalia Kasseb was so far ahead back on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in the General Election because she was running as a Democrat in a nonpartisan election. Injecting “PARTY POLITICS” into this nonpartisan election served her well back in the general election. However, eventually I believe it was the insertion of “PARTY POLITICS” that doomed her campaign in the end. Not only that, she was running in a race against five (5) other candidates who were pretty much fighting for the same vote back in the general election. This perfect storm made it appear as if Dalia Kasseb was unbeatable. She looked like a “WORLD-BEATER” because she was allowed to run free and clear of the pack back then as a Democratic candidate. IN CASE YOU DON’T REMEMBER: Dalia Kasseb (2,958 votes), Woody Owens (1,531 votes), Sherry Stockwell (1,400 votes), G.C. Sonny Atkins (701 votes), Terry Gray (498 votes), and Bud Tollefsen finished with (173 votes). However, once Stockwell, Atkins and Gray endorsed Woody Owens it was virtually over for Dalia Kasseb – unless she drastically shifted her outreach to go after more East Pearland voters.

STRATEGY WAS WRONG FOR PEARLAND, TEXAS

A CHANGE IN STRATEGY MAY HAVE HELPED

You can’t blame Dalia Kasseb (this was her first run for public office) in Pearland, Texas. However, the people to blame could be whomever didn’t tell her to “PIVOT BACK TOWARD THE CENTER” heading into the Saturday, June 10, 2017 General Election Runoff against Woody Owens. She needed to spend a lot more of her time in East Pearland doing "CROSSOVER VOTER OUTREACH" rather than trying to get mainstream media help. Look, during our research process for “OUR POWER RANKINGS” we actually discovered five (5) different pathways to a possible victory for Dalia Kasseb. However, all five (5) of them would have involved her distancing herself from her current strategy and promoting her campaign independently of Quentin Wiltz’ campaign.

QUENTIN WILTZ MISSED A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY

QUENTIN WILTZ AND DALIA KASSEB

Quentin Wiltz looks like a winner! He had all the tools necessary to get it done. He has a very beautiful family -- and a very supportive wife. He is also very articulate -- and appears to be very smart. And he possessed the political acumen it takes to pull off a victory! However, once Quentin Wiltz missed his "GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY" to unseat Mayor Tom Reid back on Saturday, May 6, 2017 without a runoff – he lost his greatest advantagewhich was the element of surprise! Most Pearlanders didn’t take his campaign too seriously prior to Saturday, May 6, 2017 – and why should they – they had seen him run for office twice before -- only to lose.

WHAT COMES NEXT FOR QUENTIN WILTZ?

Since the City of Pearland does not have single member districts, he’s going to be “VERY LIMITED” in terms of what he’s able to accomplish in a citywide race in Pearland, Texas -- without some really good branding assistance. However, to his credit, Quentin Wiltz almost caught Pearland voters asleep at the wheel. I don't think that will ever happen again. But he’s now starting to look more like a “PERENNIAL CANDIDATE” -- which is someone who frequently runs for an elected office but seldom wins. Good luck!

BOTH MAYOR TOM REID AND WOODY OWENS PERFORMED EXACTLY AS PREDICTED BY THE NEWLY CREATED HOUSTON BUSINESS CONNECTIONS MAGAZINE© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM”

Mayor Tom Reid (center) and Councilman Woody Owens (right)

Prior to the start of “EARLY VOTING” for the Saturday, June 10, 2017 General Runoff Election for Pearland, Texas, Houston Business Connections Magazine© published a “SPECIAL ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT” to promote “OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES”. Inside this publication Houston Business Connections Magazine© correctly predicted that Mayor Tom Reid would win at least 13 of the 26 “VOTER PRECINCTS” in Pearland, Texas and labeled him as “THE PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE” in the race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas. Houston Business Connections Magazine© also labeled Woody Owens as “THE PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE” in the race for the Pearland City Council Position #7 seat. At the end of the day, Mayor Tom Reid won 14 of the 26 “VOTER PRECINCTS” in Pearland, Texas.

MAYOR TOM REID WAS THE ONLY CANDIDATE IN THE RACE FOR MAYOR WHO ASKED FOR "OUR" VOTE ON SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 2017

The record turnout in Pearland, Texas didn’t just happen on its own! Typically, the turnout in “RUNOFF ELECTIONS” goes down – not up! The City of Pearland has never seen a turnout like they’ve just witnessed in the Saturday, June 10, 2017 Municipal Elections. We believe that our continued focus on “PEARLAND, TEXAS” through our “BLOG POSTINGS”, publications and other "OUTREACH METHODS" designed to “ENGAGE POTENTIAL VOTERS” played a major role in increasing the voter turnout in Pearland. And all of our work was done through “POSITIVE CAMPAIGNING” focused on highlighting “OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES” throughout our established channels of communication and “OUTREACH METHODS” directly tailored to reach potential voters in “SPECIFICALLY TARGETED VOTER PRECINCTS” in Pearland, Texas.
