Wolfe, Sr. is the current Mayor of Hempstead, Texas. He is a homegrown Hempstead native who graduated from Hempstead High School. Mayor Wolfe received his B.S. in Political Science and a Master’s in Counseling at Prairie View A&M University. He’s also the pastor at Bethlehem Baptist Church. He and his loving wife Deborah have two children and six grandchildren. Mayor Wolfe is dedicated to making Hempstead the best city anyone would be proud to call home. Mayor Wolfe is perhaps best known for his ongoing fight on behalf of the people of Hempstead against the proposed landfill project.
