Jones, Williams, Manor, Jackson, and Goffney are Key Democratic Primary Candidates Every HBC Newspaper© Reader Should Consider on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Primary
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
In case you haven't heard, we've reassembled our non-partisan reader board for endorsement purposes. While this has been a painstaking and daunting process, I am hopeful our list will provide our loyal readers with a great field of "DULY-QUALIFIED" candidates to cast votes for on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Party Primary. Now, with that out of the way, I am going to be upfront, I have instructed our non-partisan group of mostly attorneys to seriously consider “DULY-QUALIFIED” candidates who have displayed at least some sort of outreach efforts as it relates to valuing the votes they receive from minority communities in general and the African American community in particular. Why? I’m glad you asked. From what I can see right now, there are far too many candidates running for office who find no value whatsoever in minority outreach. Heck, many could care less about "OUR" community. To validate what I am saying all you have to do is take a look at a few of the campaign finance reports and you will see exactly what I'm talking about. Look, seeing a campaign sign erected on a street corner in the Black community does not mean a candidate desires your vote or values our community -- WE MUST WAKE UP! And that being said, I'm a firm believer that people tend to their hand whereas their money is concerned by only spending their treasure on things they value. Thus, I believe that the reason we don't see more candidates using our consultants, sign printing companies, and newspapers to promote their campaigns hinges on the fact that deep down in their hearts, there's love for our community. Sure, they want our votes, but they do not care about us in their heart of hearts. So, to answer your question, I would direct you to Matthew 6:21, in the New King James Version of the Bible which states, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Thus, we have too many candidates from both major political parties who only come to our community to sucker our folks out of their votes during election season. And once election season is over, these same candidates are “NO SHOWS” until the next election cycle rolls around. That being said, as a community, in my capacity as publisher, of Houston Business Connections Newspaper© I am strongly encouraging all warm-blooded Americans to get serious about the business of holding our elected officials accountable, and imploring them to flow some of their campaign contributions through "OUR" community.

Steve prevailed in several lawsuits taken to trial or appeal, despite Monsanto’s repeated efforts to restrict his ability to file suit against them. His most recent suit against Monsanto resulted in a $46,500,000 judgment and verdict. Shortly thereafter, a confidential settlement was obtained for his three clients and their families.
Steve also has extensive experience in insurance coverage litigation, successfully representing homeowners and business owners in actions arising out of coverage disputes between insurers and policyholders, as well as bad faith actions arising out of coverage disputes. Steve helps families obtain favorable judgments against national insurance carriers who wrongfully deny benefits to policyholders.
