Tony Buzbee and a host of other viable candidates are seeking to unseat Houston's current Mayor Sylvester Turner on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. This is by far the toughest challenge Turner has ever faced in his long and storied political career as a state legislator, and now Mayor of Houston, Texas. It's not very often that you see this many viable candidates line up to face an incumbent mayor running for re-election. In case you have not heard, Tony Buzbee, Bill King, Dwight Boykins, Kendall Baker, Sue Lovell, Demetria Smith,Roy J. Vasquez, Victoria Romero, Derrick Broze, Naoufal Houjami and Johnny "J.T." are all seeking to unseat the embattled Mayor Turner.
