ANNOUNCEMENT: Texas EquuSearch is Having a “New Member Orientation and Training” class on Saturday, June 27, 2015

As 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11300 South Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, Texas 77089 Texas EquuSearch will be conducting a “New Member Orientation & Training” class. The class will be held inside the “Great Room” at the Sagemont Church.

Any Texas EquuSearch member that has never attended this class should attend. This particular class is for current Texas EquuSearch members only, and those who have applications turned into their offices by the end of day on Saturday, June 20th 2015. CLICK HERE to get an application.

Texas EquuSearch is also asking for you to please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day of the training, because they are planning to conduct a field training exercise. There will be a one hour lunch break. And there are plenty restaurants located in the area.

Southwest Airlines Freedom Over Texas will further expand the availability of recycling receptacles to make it easier for attendees to recycle. The City of Houston is committed to supporting green initiatives and promoting sustainability. 

The Houston Parks & Recreation Department regulations prohibit dogs, amphibians, reptiles and snakes that are considered dangerous. Therefore, we require the ban of all such animals. This does not include Seeing Eye dogs or other dogs that provide assistance to physically challenged individuals. No smoking allowed in any City of Houston park interior and exterior spaces/facilities.

The City of Houston Mayor's Office of Special Events (MOSE) produces and permits events for the City of Houston. City-wide and neighborhood festivals, dedications, inaugurations, parades, tree plantings, fun runs, galas, ground-breakings, holiday celebrations are examples of events coordinated by this office.
