Have You Heard? The Sale of KCOH Radio Station Is Final

KCOH Is Moving To KQUE (1230) on March 1, 2013

AUBREY R. TAYLOR - REPORTS

HOUSTON - If you plan on listening to KCOH (1430) you’ll have to do so by going down the radio dial to KQUE (1230). That’s because despite challenges from Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), civil rights activist Reverend Jesse Jackson and others, the FCC has given clearance to the sale of KCOH (1430) to La Promesa Foundation for just over $2 million dollars. Yes, the sale is indeed official now! But all isn’t lost; according to published reports, Houston businessman Jesse Dunn plans to continue the rich history and legacy of KCOH; but you’ll just have to turn your radio dial to: KQUE (1230) to hear Michael Harris, Ralph, Cooper, Walsh Allen and the rest of the KCOH gang. KCOH is located at: 5011 Almeda Rd. Houston, TX 77004. Phone Number: 713.522.1001.
