MESSAGE: "Don't Turn Back" is a Motivational Thought for Today Published by Aubrey R. Taylor Communications

“A lot of times, the difference between the person who makes it; and the person who doesn’t is this: one person turned back, and the other one didn’t. You aren’t going to just wake up one day and find yourself living your dream. It’s going to take some sweat equity. So never take no for an answer. Keep moving forward until you discover the yes that’s out there waiting for you to show up. And don’t ever make the mistake of identifying a closed door as a sign that your dream is not going to come true. Your yes, could be waiting for you behind the next door. So you have to keep right on knocking on doors. The path to our dreams can sometimes be daunting, tiring, and riddled with roadblocks; but don’t you give up -- you can do this! So hold fast to this today: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” I found this in the book of Matthew 7:7-8 in the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible. Again, you can do this.” -- AUBREY R. TAYLOR

I believe God can direct me to the open doors. I trust God. I believe the word of God is true; and that doors are being opened for me. I won’t turn back.

Here are a few of the candidates whom I believe are eyeing the chance to succeed Mayor Annise Parker in the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election: Attorney Ben Hall, Attorney Chris Bell, State Rep. Sylvester Turner, Attorney Eric Dick, City Council Member Oliver Pennington, City Council Member Stephen Costello, Former Kemah Mayor Bill King, and Attorney Sean Roberts

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2015 for the 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election. And I am looking forward to a record turnout, clean competitive races, and hopeful that we get a mayor who is committed to representing our entire city – not special interest groups.

"According to an ABCNews/Beliefnet Poll 83 percent of Americans identify themselves as Christians. So to this end, it makes perfect sense for us to get Christians engaged, empowered, informed, and excited about the process of choosing those who govern on the local, state, and federal levels in America. So don't forget about what Proverbs 29:2 teaches us: "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." -- AUBREY

MESSAGE: "Don't Fall for It", Published on Thursday, January 8, 2015 by Aubrey R. Taylor Communications

"It doesn’t matter what you’ve been called to do. You must know going in that you’re going to have some people for you, and some people against you. So keep your spiritual eyes and ears open for warning signs and confirmations. God sees all, and He knows all. And nothing that has happened, or is going to happen, has, or ever will, come as a surprise to God. So never forget that the wisdom of God living on the inside of you can warn you of impending danger. He can also reveal the devices and plans of your adversaries. He can also give you the directives you need before any harm can befall you. But you have to trust God, and listen to His subtle whispers in your ear, saying: "go here", "don't go that way today", "don't trust them", and "let this person or that person go".

We need God’s help to gain victory over the plots, plans, schemes, and devices those against us may try to use to entice, trap, or draw us off course. I had to learn this very important lesson the hard way; but you don’t have to.

Don’t get me wrong, we have the victory already; but we must still go claim it. So stay focused. Remember how God warned Noah about the coming flood? Well, He can do the same thing for us today. Check this out: “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things no yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” I found this in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, in the book of Hebrews 11:7. So, if Noah did it, so can we. So trust God, and listen for His next directive.” – AUBREY R. TAYLOR

My Heavenly Father sees all, and He knows all. All the wisdom I will ever need, lives on the inside of me right now as a born again Believer. I will trust God and His divine wisdom today, and forevermore. I am His Child, and I hear His voice. I will follow His directives as He divinely orders the steps I should take. I will keep my spiritual eyes and ears open, and attentive, to His subtle whisper, as I yield my desire to His, as His plan for my life unfolds.
