AUBREY R. TAYLOR: “In case you don’t already know, a “RISING POLITICAL STAR” is on the move in Texas. After getting fed up with how she was being treated by the Texas Democratic Party, some local political party bosses, and some local members of the media, Deirdre Gilbert withdrew her request to appear on the Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Democratic Party Primary ballot as a Democrat. What's she going to do? Well, instead of running as a Democrat in 2022, Deirdre Gilbert has chosen to run for Governor of Texas as an “INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE” in the upcoming gubernatorial election, which will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. And before anyone tries to discredit this "RISING POLITICAL STAR" you had better pay close attention to the polls.”
AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "So, just for the record, Dierdre Gilbert, a rising star in Texas Politics will make her formal appearance as an Independent Candidate for Governor of Texas on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 6:00pm at the "GATHERING FOR CHANGE" Awards Gala, being held at the Dallas Park West Hotel located at 1590 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75234. Polls Show That Beto “O’Rourke Will Have a Tough Time Unseating Texas Gov. Greg Abbott If He’s the Democratic Nominee
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
The fight for Texas in the upcoming 2022 Midterm Election is going to be fierce. And believe it or not, Deirdre Gilbert, a “RISING P0LITICAL STAR” is actually “IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT” right now. How? Well, with polls starting to show that Beto O’Rourke is more than likely going to lose if he’s matched up against, Gov. Greg Abbott, voters of color are going to be looking for someone who stands a better chance on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. And, now that Deirdre Gilbert has bolted from the Democratic Party, many political insiders that I’ve spoken to believe that Deirdre Gilbert has a much better shot on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, running as “AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE” for Governor of Texas – especially since there won’t be any straight-ticket voting.

DEIRDRE GILBERT: “I believe it’s time for a change, and I believe I can give Texas something they need,” said Deirdre Gilbert. “And I’m talking about the human side of politics.”
DEIRDRE GILBERT: “Mass incarceration rips apart families and communities, disproportionately hurts people of color,” says Dierdre Gilbert. “We must create innovative solutions to end this crisis.”
AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "I believe that African American women (like the woman you see above) from all across Texas are going to reject the follow the leader strategy on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, when they flock to the polls to cast their vote in the "THE 2022 GUBERNATORIAL RACE" for Governor of Texas."
AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "If you ask me, the "2022 GUBERNATORIAL RACE" isn't going to be business as usual when it comes to convincing African Americans (like the woman you see above) to show up at the polls and vote for Beto O'Rourke this time around. That being said, Beto O'Rourke is going to have his hands full trying to wrestle Black votes away from Deirdre Gilbert, a "RISING POLITICAL STAR" in Texas."
AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "What has worked in the past to convince Black women (like the woman you see above) to support candidates (like Beto) who are being pushed by the establishment, may not work so well going forward into 2022, 2023, 2024, and beyond. Why? Well, have you seen the recent survey that was conducted by the University of Texas at Austin and the Texas Tribune showed that Governor Greg Abbott, the Republican incumbent already has a substantial lead over Beto O’Rourke if the two were to meet in a showdown on Tuesday, November 8, 2022? According to the poll, 46% of registered voters in Texas would cast their ballots for Governor Greg Abbott, and a mere 37% would cast their vote for Beto O’Rourke if those were their two options. And get this, the aforementioned poll also found that 10% of the registered voters who were surveyed said that they didn’t have an opinion to even share. And 7% of the voters said that they would vote for “SOMEONE ELSE” in the upcoming 2022 Midterm Election, that’s scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 8th, in the Lone Star State. So, all of that being said, if you believe polls, Governor Greg Abbott already enjoys a 9-point lead over Beto O’Rourke, if Beto is the Democratic Party nominee. However, a lot can change between now and Tuesday, November 8, 2022, so stay tuned."

Independent Texas governor candidate Deirdre Gilbert to make a formal appearance at Dallas’ Gathering for Change Awards Gala 2021

Dallas, TX — Deirdre Gilbert, who is looking to become the first Black woman to serve as governor of Texas — or any other state in the U.S., will meet and greet a room full of advocates and activists, all with the common goal of advancing social justice and racial equity on Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m.
“I believe it’s time for a change, and I believe I can give Texas something they need,” said Deirdre Gilbert. “And I’m talking about the human side of politics.”
More than 150 guests will celebrate the 1st annual event at the Dallas Park West Hotel on December 18—a week away from Christmas. With the theme “Unity,” the glamorous evening will highlight ideas of empowerment, education, empathy, and inclusion. The event host is criminal justice reform activist Dr. Belay Reddick.
“Mass incarceration rips apart families and communities, disproportionately hurts people of color,” says Gilbert. “We must create innovative solutions to end this crisis.”
Guest speakers and awards recipients include CNN political commentator and former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner, veteran coalition builder and civil rights activist Melanie Campbell, women’s rights activist Topeka K. Sam, Grandmother of the Juneteenth Movement Opal Lee, and renowned scholar and associate professor, Dr. Dana Thompson Dorsey. Soul Train Awards nominee for “Best Contemporary Jazz Performance” Vandell Andrew will provide entertainment.
DEIRDRE GILBERT: "Please be informed that I am no longer running for Governor of Texas as a Democrat. On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, I will appear on your ballot as an "INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE" in the race for Governor of Texas. Political Advertising Paid for by Committee to Elect Deirdre Gilbert for Governor of Texas."
Did You Know That, 1,087,784 Registered Voters Stayed Home and Did Not Even Vote in Harris County, Texas back During the 2018 Midterm Election
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
What we're about to see on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Harris County, Texas is a very close election between the "2022 DEMOCRATIC NOMINEES" and the "2022 REPUBLICAN NOMINEES," if you ask me. How can I say this? Well, because there's not going to be any straight-ticket voting in the 2022 Midterm Election. Secondly, the Harris County Elections Administrator won't be able to flood the mailboxes of registered voters with unsolicited mail-ballot applications. Thirdly, there won't be any 24-hour voting. Fourthly, there won't be any drive-thru voting. And finally, the skyrocketing crime and alleged corruption in Harris County, Texas is going to be a huge motivating factor for registered voters to get off the couch and skedaddle to the polls.

There is but One Race, and that is The Human Race. This message was articulated very clearly by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a Visionary who saw things from a different perspective. Almost Forty Years later, we now see those things, and we will strive to incorporate those things into our everyday lives in the knowledge of “Change Begins With Self”
AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for the people. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must endeavor to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment during the history of our great nation."
Nominating the Wrong Candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" Could Have Disastrous Consequences in the November 2022 General Election in Harris County
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in the upcoming 2022 Midterms, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
