Demetria Smith Has Expanded Her 2020 Judicial Endorsement List to Included Justice Terry Adams, Jeralynn Manor, and Nile Copeland for the November General Election

After initially saying that she would only endorse the ten down-ballot judicial candidates pictured below, Demetria Smith has decided to expand her list to include: Justice Terry Adams, a Republican who will be facing a Democrat by the name of Ampara Monique Guerra on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Demetria Smith, upon receiving more information about Jeralynn Manor was very impressed and decided to add Jeralynn Manor's name to her list as well. "Unlike a few of our current sitting judges in Harris County, Texas I do not believe that Jeralynn Manor will try to legislate from the bench -- Jeralynn will make a great judge!," said Demetria Smith. In case you don't know, Jeralynn Manor, will be facing off against a Republican by the name of Sharon Hemphill, whom many political pundits consider to be a "PERENNIAL RUNNER" who has little chance to pose much of a threat to Manor on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in the race for District Judge, 80th Civil District Court. And in a surprise move, Demetria Smith decided to also throw her support behind Former Judge Nile Copeland in his quest to unseat Judge R.K. Sandhill in the race for District Judge, 127th Civil District Court on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. If you're a Democrat and the name Nile Copeland sounds familiar, it's probably because you've cast your vote for him at some time in the past. However, for a number of different reasons, Copeland left the Democratic Party and has joined the Republican Party. As the list of Blacks who are asking those within their sphere of influence to "HOLD THEIR VOTE" on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, continues to rapidly increase across America, endorsements from influential African Americans like Demetria Smith, Gerry Wayne Monroe, the "5 Star General," Demetra Kaye, and Donovan Saadiq will become invaluable.

Political Advocate and Host of the Social Room Podcast Show, Demetria Smith (far left) says she will only be casting her vote in certain down-ballot judicial races in Harris County, Texas on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 – and she’s not alone. In case you don't already know, skipping over down-ballot races is a common practice; but this practice could skew the 2020 election results. Back in the 2016 Presidential race, in Harris County, there were 1,312,112 votes cast. However, there were 2,182,980 registered voters in Harris County at the time -- that means there were a lot of votes left on the table in local races. Did you know that 26,622 voters who went to the polls to cast a ballot skipped over the presidential race? So, nobody can argue against the fact that the presidential race will be the big draw on November 3rd. That being said, the two major political parties had better make sure that they have a plan in place to promote their down-ballot nominees. Get this, as voters began to navigate their way down the long Harris County ballot back in 2016, they started to skip over certain down-ballot races with increasing regularity -- just like Demetria Smith claims she's going to do on November 3rd. Look, by the time voters made their way down to the first Harris County District Court race, the number of voters who were skipping races had ballooned to over 60,000 undervotes in some of the races. Heck, in one of the down-ballot judicial races 69,344 undervotes was recorded back in 2016. So, Democrats running countywide in 2020 had better understand that their victory isn’t promised, and that they must work to earn every vote. Why? Well, if you look at it, like I said, a whopping 69,344 undervotes was recorded in a down-ballot judicial race back in 2016 – with straight-ticket voting as an option. So, without straight-ticket voting being an option, we could very well see anywhere from 150,000 to 200,000 undervotes in some of the down-ballot races on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. And if this happens, Harris County, Texas could be up for grabs this time around! So, don’t forget that “EARLY VOTING” will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, and end on Friday, October 30, 2020.
Demetria Smith Plans to Skip Over Eighteen of the Twenty-Eight Down-Ballot Judicial Races in Harris County on November 3rd

Every vote counts…right? Well, Demetria Smith, a 2019 candidate for Mayor of the City of Houston has chosen to only issue endorsements in ten of the twenty-eight contested down-ballot judicial races that will appear on the ballot in Harris County, Texas, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Why? According to Smith she believes that some of the judicial nominees are not going to do anything but try to legislate from the bench; but she wouldn’t give me any names. However, what a lot of folks don’t realize is that Jeralynn Manor took out an incumbent Democratic judge who was widely considered by many in the political world as the toughest to unseat. And while she made it look easy – it wasn’t as easy as she made it look. After all, she’s one step away from reaching her lifelong dream of becoming a judge – and that’s a beautiful thing if you ask me. But nothing has come easy for Jeralynn along the way. She’s had to claw and scrap her way to where she finds herself right now! Yep, believe it or not, she’s much more than a pretty face -- she’s a born fighterand someone with the intestinal fortitude of a lion. A lot of folks don’t know this, but to unseat Judge Larry Weiman, this young progressive had to wage a come-from-behind victory. In case you don’t remember, Judge Weiman, along with his impressive list of endorsements actually had the upper-hand on Jeralynn Manor, after the “ABSENTEE BALLOT,” phase of the voting process back in the 2020 Democratic Party Primary. Judge Weiman, as a refresher had 12,102, absentee ballots, for 50.99% of the vote, and Manor, only had 11,634 absentee ballots, for 49.01% of the vote. But his lead didn’t last long, as 53,909 Democrats flocked to the polls to cast their vote early for Jeralynn Manor. Comparatively speaking, only 37,042 Democrats voted early for Judge Larry Weiman. So, the trampling that Antonio Maldonado is alluding to came in the final vote tally, as Judge Larry Weiman was left having to figure how a newbie to politics foiled his 2020 bid for re-election. How bad did Jeralynn Manor beat Judge Larry Weiman? Well, the “OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT” shows that 149,388 Democrats cast their ballot for Jeralynn Manor, to give her an astonishing 60.43% of the overall vote.
