Attorney Terry Yates, the lead criminal defense attorney representing Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor, put the squeeze on the Harris County District Attorney's Office, former First Assistant District Attorney Vivian King (top center), and lying A$$ Gerald Womack (bottom center) when he issued a "COURT SUBPOENA" to Vivian King's ex-husband Eric Carr (right), demanding that Eric Carr appear in the 486th Criminal District Court Room on "VALENTINE'S DAY," to show his ex-wife Vivian King some love under oath and penalty of perjury. Eric Carr was issued a subpoena because he is a truth-teller, and we knew that he would tell the truth about the true nature of the relationship between his ex-wife, Vivian King, and Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors. However, before former professional prizefighter turned successful businessman Eric Carr could take the stand on Friday, February 14, 2024, the new Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare "DISMISSED THE CHARGES" against Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor, the publisher of the Houston Business Connections Newspaper. Another reason the Harris County District Attorney dismissed the charges stems from a "PROPOSED DISMISSAL ORDER," attorney Terry Yates filed with the court and was prepared to ask Judge Aaron Burdette, the presiding judge for the 486th Criminal District to sign on Friday, February 14, 2025, after Eric Carr took the stand to impeach his Vivian King's "FALSE TESTIMONY" she gave under oath on Monday, November 4, 2024, when she was served with a subpoena, and forced to take the stand.

Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors, repeatedly dodged service and avoided being served with his subpoena after not showing up for court after he was served the first time to appear in court. Gerald Womack lied to detectives, the DA's Office, and the media about what happened in the lobby of 4412 Almeda Road on Monday, October 23, 2023, in Third Ward.
Outside of 4412 Almeda Road, Houston, Texas 77004, video evidence shows Gerald Womack holding the "DEADLY WEAPON" I described to the HPD Police Detectives (Officer Don) at HPD Headquarters. However, when the HPD Detective went to 4412 Almeda Road to retrieve the statute that Womack used to assault me, it was missing.
Evidence in the form of emails shows proof that Gerald Womack, the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and Vivian King conspired together before Vivian King abused her power and intervened in the case by having her subordinates reopen the case that had already been closed and ruled mutual combat, by ADA Abner.

WHAT HAPPENED THAT MORNING…
On Monday, October 23, 2023, shortly before 10 o’clock, I entered the lobby for Advantage Communications Group, just as I had for many years, to drop off my newspapers for Lind K. Brown. However, instead of being allowed to drop off paper for Linda K. Brown, I got attacked by Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors.

TRUTHFUL FACT #1
As I entered the front door, Gerald Womack was already coming down the stairs and through the hallway by the receptionist’s desk. Gerald Womack was screaming at the top of his lungs: WHO ARE YOU? WHO ARE YOU? WHO ARE YOU???

TRUTHFUL FACT #2
As Gerald Womack got closer, he began to swing at me a few times, but he did not connect with my head. So, I began to retreat backward to defuse the situation.

TRUTHFUL FACT #3
As Gerald Womack began to get even more aggressive, he slapped at or tried to grab the tie I was wearing, which caused me to fear for my life. It was at this point that I struck Gerald Womack in self-defense, but as he fell to the floor, he grabbed my pant leg.

TRUTHFUL FACT #4
As Gerald Womack had the pant leg of the slacks I was wearing, I crouched down on top of him and struck him several times as he screamed and yelled. I noticed blood coming from Gerald Womack’s nose and mouth, and he was somewhat calmer, so I released him and tried to leave the building once again.

TRUTHFUL FACT #5
Instead of me being allowed to leave the building, Gerald Womack got even angrier and grabbed what appeared to be an iron (or brass) silver lamp (or trophy) with sharp corners (or edges) and swung it at my head a few times.

TRUTHFUL FACT #6
As Gerald Womack was swinging the “DEADLY WEAPON” at my head, I noticed that his head was severely swollen, and he was bleeding profusely out of his nose and mouth simultaneously.

TRUTHFUL FACT #7
As Gerald Womack continued to swing the “DEADLY WEAPON,” which he had retrieved from a shelf, I managed to reach backward and grab the doorknob to the front door and swing the door open, which allowed me to back out of the building and onto the sidewalk facing Almeda.

TRUTHFUL FACT #8
Once I was safely outside and onto the sidewalk, and out of the reach of Gerald Womack, I began to retreat, walking forward and then backward to ensure that I did not get attacked by anyone from the rear of the building.

TRUTHFUL FACT #9
After a brief exchange between Gerald Womack and me at the front door of 4412 Almeda Road, I walked away from the building, through the parking lot, and out of the back gate while watching my surroundings and ensuring my safety.

TRUTHFUL FACT #10
I arrived at my vehicle, waited for police to come, and called a few friends and my attorney to let them know that Gerald Womack had just assaulted me as I tried to deliver copies of my newspaper to Linda Brown, the owner of the Advantage Communications Group, just as I had safely done for years, without incident.

Gerald Womack sent Vivian King this personal email after Womack attacked Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor on Monday, October 23, 2023, to cover his tracks and have his friend and business associate, Vivian King, use her authority as the First Assistant District Attorney, to have Aubrey R. Taylor wrongfully indicted. (CLICK HERE) View Motion to Dismiss Case for Prosecutorial Misconduct filed by Attorney Terry Yates on behalf of Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor.

Eric Carr, the third ex-husband of Vivian King, was issued a "SUBPOENA" to show up in the 486th Criminal District Courtroom on Friday, February 14, 2025, and answer questions about Vivian King and the nature of her relationship with Gerald Womack. When Vivian King testified under oath in the 486th Criminal District Court, she claimed that she barely knew Gerald Womack and didn't have an ongoing business relationship with Womack Development & Investment Realtors, which was a lie. Vivian King also testified under oath that she did not know who Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor was until a few months before she took the stand, which was also a lie. Eric Carr was set to impeach the testimony of Vivian King if he had been allowed to take the stand on Friday, February 14, 2025. Still, the Harris County District Attorney's Office dropped the charges against Aubrey R. Taylor rather than running the risk of having to possibly charge Vivian King with perjury.

Attorney Jared Woodfill, Attorney Terry Yates, and Attorney "DOWNTOWN" Oliver Brown have been selected as Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor's legal team members. The detailed "MOTION TO DISMISS" for Prosecutorial Misconduct" will give you a better idea of how Vivian King, the former First Assistant District Attorney (ADA), abused her power and conspired with the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and her campaign manager Gerald Womack to violate the civil rights of Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor, in Harris County, Texas. (CLICK HERE) Take a moment to view the "MOTION TO DISMISS" filed with the court.

Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare's Office dismissed the criminal case against Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor. The next step is for Attorney Jared Woodfill, Attorney Terry Yates, and Attorney "DOWNTOWN" Oliver Brown to file a Federal Civil Rights Violation lawsuit on behalf of Aubrey R. Taylor against the criminals who are responsible for this injustice. (CLICK HERE) Please take a look at Vivian King's "PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT" and learn more about how she conspired with Gerald Womack and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee before intervening and compelling her subordinates to bring the bogus charges in the first place.

Charges Dropped Against Aubrey R Taylor; Video Shows Gerald Womack With Deadly Weapon in His Right Hand
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
Personal email exchanges between Gerald Womack and Vivian King, the former First Assistant District Attorney under Kim Ogg’s Administration, were recovered and placed in the hands of Terry Yates, my attorney. We also have “SWORN-TESTIMONY” from the HPD Detective (Don), claiming that the DA’s Office had her place a false entry into the Intake Management (DIM) system in violation of Texas Penal Code Section 37.10, which is a crime of Tampering with a Government Record, by the DA’s Office.
“Vivian King abdicated her role as an independent state official and abused her position of public trust in order to obtain private benefits for herself and her allies. ADA Vivian King put her personal, financial, and political interests before not only her own professional integrity, but, even more importantly, the due process rights of Aubrey R. Taylor and the integrity of the criminal justice system,” says my attorney Terry Yates.
According to my attorney, ADA King voluntarily intervened in this matter, using her elevated position at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, to wrongfully and maliciously prosecute me by overruling the decision of the intake prosecutors who had declined to charge me.
After ADA Vivian King got her subordinates to accept charges against me, she instructed her henchman ADA, Jim Lietner, to hastily indict me – which was unethical and criminal.
Vivian King also violated the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure provisions that implicitly and explicitly address conflicts of interest involving prosecutors. “The doctrine of vindictive prosecution, as established by cases like Blacklege v. Perry, 417 U.S. 21 (1974), prohibits prosecutors from retaliating against defendants for exercising their constitutional rights,” proclaims Yates.
“ADA King readily admitted that she collaborated with U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and Lee’s campaign manager, the alleged victim, Gerald Womack, before telephoning the prosecutor at intake, who had declined to charge the Defendant,” according to sworn testimony.
Vivian King called her subordinate (ADA Abner) an hour after he emailed Kim Ogg, DA Office Bureau Chiefs, and others within Kim Ogg’s Administration, saying he was not bringing charges against me.
Evidence showed that ADA Vivian King emailed the prosecutor (ADA Abner) to influence his decision to charge me. “ADA King acted hastily in order to abridge Taylor’s right of free speech and undermine his credibility with potential voters,” explains Yates.
ADA Vivian King did this as a political favor to ingratiate herself with Sheila Jackson Lee, who was at the time a significant political figure in Houston, Texas, running for Mayor of Houston, Texas. And King did so for her own personal benefit.
After the intake prosecutor closed the case and called it mutual combat, ADA Vivian King caused intake prosecutors and police investigators to act recklessly and haphazardly. “ADA Jim Lietner immediately indicted this case without conducting any type of investigation,” says Yates.
“He testified that he did so because this case had become a “problem” in the DA’s Office,” according to his sworn testimony on Monday, November 4, 2024.
Attorney Terry Yates states, “Another Brady violation occurred when prosecutors withheld exculpatory evidence. HPD Detective Donn told prosecutors that the complaining witness, Gerald Womack, was not credible.”
“Prosecutors failed to record or disclose this information to the Defendant. It was not until the hearing that this exculpatory information came to light,” explains Yates. “All of the foregoing violations were a result of First Assistant Vivian King’s unethical intervention into this matter,” he proclaims.
Attorney Terry Yates states, “Due to Vivian King’s abhorrent unethical behavior and abuse of power, the indictment against my client should have been dismissed by the 486th Criminal District Court with prejudice.”
“ADA Vivian King abused the power entrusted to her by the State of Texas for her own person benefit. These actions alone provided a sufficient basis for dismissing the instant indictment against the Defendant,” said Attorney Yates in the “MOTION TO DISMISS” the charges for Prosecutorial Misconduct he filed with the 486th Criminal District Court.

DAMNING VIDEO EVIDENCE…
The video doesn’t lie. And the video footage of Gerald Womack with the “DEADLY WEAPON” I described to police in his hands proved too difficult for prosecutors to explain away if they would have taken me to trial on the bogus charges conjured up against me.
Gerald Womack had local media outlets repeat lies about me fleeing the building – that’s a fact. And if they lied about me fleeing the building, any rational jury of my peers would have summarized that Gerald Womack and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee also lied about me attacking Gerald Womack in the lobby of 4412 Almeda when I went there to deliver my newspaper to Advantage Communications Group, which I had done, two weeks prior, and for years before Monday, October 23, 2023, without incident.

ERIC CARR WAS SET TO TESTIFY…
The criminal case against me fell apart with former professional prizefighter Eric Carr, the ex-husband of former First Assistant District Attorney Vivian King, sitting in the batter’s box and ready to take the stand, tell the truth, and expose Vivian King’s lies.
It is unclear at this time if the Harris County District Attorney’s Office dismissed their case to avoid Carr’s damning testimony against his corrupt ex-wife or if it was the “PROPOSED DISMISSAL,” submitted directly to Judge Aaron Burdette, the day prior did the trick.
“On the undersigned date, the Court, having heard the evidence, reviewed all pleadings regarding this motion, arguments of counsel, and applicable law, finds that the Defendant’s Motion to Dismiss for Prosecutorial Misconduct is hereby GRANTED,” read the document filed by attorney Terry Yates, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in a masterful maneuver.
Before filing the “PROPOSED DISMISSAL” to the court, Terry Yates hit Vivian King’s ex-husband with another subpoena stating, “A Fine and Imprisonment May Be Imposed for Failure to Obey This Notice.”
“You are ordered to appear on February 14, 2025, @ 8:45 a.m.," read the subpoena to Vivian King’s ex-husband – Eric Carr. However, Carr received a call from the Harris County District Attorney’s Office on Thursday, February 13, 2024, before he could take the stand and testify against his ex-wife. Sean Teare’s DA’s Office decided to drop the charge against me.
Right now, I can say, “PRAISE GOD,” I am thankful for my legal team and most grateful to Attorney Terry Yates, a former prosecutor, for defending me against these bogus charges.
Gerald Womack and Vivian King are criminals and must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Also, “Prosecutorial Misconduct” is a serious matter, and so is conjuring up criminal cases against an innocent person – which happened in this case.

GERALD WOMACK LIED TO THE POLICE…
Lying to police and investigators is a crime in the state of Texas. Nope. I’m not joking. Providing a false statement to law enforcement is a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000, up to 6 months in jail, or both. However, taking a stand in a criminal matter and lying under oath is even more serious.
So, in the matter of Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors, he continued to dodge service by hiding and avoiding service. On one occasion, process servers caught up with Gerald Womack and served him a subpoena to appear in court, but he did not even show up. After that, process servers could never get him to show up in court to take the stand. However, on Monday, November 4, 2025, Vivian King, the “ROGUE PROSECUTOR,” took the stand and claimed not to know Gerald Womack too well or Aubrey R. Taylor, the investigative reporter and publisher who Womack accused of assaulting him at his 4412 Almeda Road address and running out of the building.
Court transcripts from the Monday, November 4, 2024, court hearing in the 486th Criminal District Court, presided over by the Honorable Judge Aaron Burdette, are damning, as witness after witness pointed their fingers at Vivian King, as the mastermind behind the bogus charges which lead to the arrest of Aubrey R. Taylor, after being lied upon by Gerald Womack.
Houston Police Detective Officer Don testified that Gerald Womack was “NOT CREDIBLE” and notified Kim Ogg’s District Attorney’s Office that he was uncooperative.
Detective Don also testified that investigative reporter Aubrey R. Taylor was more cooperative and willing to talk openly about what occurred at 4412 Almeda on the morning of Monday, October 23, 2023, shortly after 10:00 a.m., in Third Ward, Texas.

GERALD WOMACK DESTROYED EVIDENCE…
Gerald Womack, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and First Assistant District Attorney conjured up the scheme, which led to my getting indicted on bogus charges.
Womack told authorities that I came to his workplace and punched him, causing him to lose consciousness briefly, and then when he came to himself, we continued fighting. He also told police after I beat him up, I fled the building – which is a lie.
Video from the car wash across the street from Gerald Womack’s office proves that Gerald Womack lied about how I exited the building. This video evidence also shows Gerald Womack with the “DEADLY WEAPON” that was used in his assault on me inside 4412 Almeda on the morning of Monday, October 23, 2023, which was also the first day of “EARLY VOTING” for the Mayor Election, where Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee was a candidate on the ballot.
Court transcripts show that when HPD Detectives went to Womack Development & Investment Realtors to recover the “DEADLY WEAPON” Gerald Womack used in the assault against me, it was gone from his office and has never been recovered by police.
Gerald Womack also gave the HPD Detectives at least three different excuses for why he could not provide them with video of the incident inside his lobby.
One of Gerald Womack’s excuses was that he did not have a video of the incident because his air conditioning unit wasn’t working that morning. However, when Detective Don asked him to review the recording device, Gerald Womack told the investigative detective that she needed to leave the building and speak with his attorney.

WHAT’S NEXT?
The mainstream media outlets who continue to call me a “RIGHT-WING BLOGGER” may ultimately be forced to pay a heavy price right along with Vivian King, Gerald Womack, Womack Development, and the Harris County District Attorney Office, and others who violated my Constitutional Rights to “DUE PROCESS” and protections against malicious prosecution.
As my Attorney, Terry Yates, stated, the case against me was about politics. However, it’s about more than politics as we prepare to take my civil case to federal court.

However, today, a small group of (DINOs), "Democrats in Name Only," and (RINOs), "Republicans in Name Only," have allied themselves together and embraced Tami C. Pierce's campaign for the 180th Criminal District Court as part of a grander scheme to purge "BLACK JUDGES" from local judicial benches in Harris County, Texas. Kay Shepard, who is suspected of being a closet member of the "LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY," is acting as the 'attack dog' for Mike Doyle, the chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party, who also favors "LGBTQ+ WOMEN AND MEN," over "HETEROSEXUAL MEN AND WOMEN," as proven by his recent actions. It appears that Kay Shepard, in her twisted mind and vexed spirit, believes that she is helping her fellow "LGBTQ+ SISTERS" and a more significant cause by working to defeat Lieutenant Colonel Judge DaSean Jones. By definition, a heterosexual person is someone who is exclusively sexually or romantically attracted to someone of the opposite sex; after having her sexual advances allegedly rebuffed by State Rep.
