Attacks on Demetria Smith by People like Life-Long Democrat Election Judge LaShelle Scott Should Be Denounced


Democratic Election Judge LaShelle Scott (left), said, “She’s like flees on a dog,” when referring to Demetria Smith’s (right) historic speech delivered to the “ELECTIONS COMMITTEE” at the State Capital in Austin, Texas last week. Scott, a life-long Democrat also took a defiant stance against what Democrats (nationwide) are calling Jim Crow-era type legislation. However, as you will clearly see supportive screenshots in this report – its people like lifelong Democratic Election Judge LaShelle Scott who are mean-spirited, hateful, and out of touch with reality. In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” Who’s going to stand up for what’s right, when they view the screenshot below? Where are the good people? A lot of folks like to quote Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and claim that they are fight for us – but these days, it’s difficult to tell who has our best interests in mind. Listen, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, “The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” He also said, “An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.” So, implore everyone reading this report to come to a place where we put the love of “OUR GOD” and the ideals that we all enjoy as American citizens over partisan party politics. Why? Well, as the “GOOD BOOK” says in PROVERBS 29: 2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

I am asking for “GOOD DEMOCRATS” to help rid our great state of “BAD DEMOCRATS” like LaShelle Scott, the Democratic Election Judge and Precinct Chair for Precinct 559. Now, before any of you try to defend Election Judge LaShelle Scott, please know that I did not have a problem with her, prior to having her send me a text message calling Demetria Smith, another Black female, quote, “She is like fleas on a dog.”

How Many Other Democratic Election Judges Are There in Harris County, Texas Who Think Like LaShelle Scott?

Look, let’s get one thing straight right now!!! All of you people who are calling me from private numbers, and blocked numbers can go straight to hell. My friend Demetria Smith is a brave, courageous woman who has a right to express her views and opinions just like any other warm-blooded American.

WE ARE THE PEOPLE

For those who don’t know, our United States Constitution States that, “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America,” So, in case you don’t know, Demetria Smith in my opinion is a “LIBERATED WOMAN” who is on the right side of the “ELECTION INTEGRITY BILLS” currently being considered in the Texas Legislature. And on top of that, she also has a “FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT” to freely express her opinion.

After her historic testimony Demetria Smith invited to meet several state leaders for a private meeting to hear more of her testimony. Demetria Smith went to the State Capital in Austin, Texas to voice her support for HB6 (THE VOTER INTEGRITY BILL) that some folks are calling Jim Crow 2.0 around the nation. 

FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. As I said, Demetria Smith’s testimony before the “ELECTION COMMITTEE” last week was protected under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. And my being there to cover her testimony was doubly protected for those of you who don’t know. As publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper©, I have a right to free speech; but I also enjoy other rights as a member of the press. So let’s not get it twisted!



In response to a text she received about Demetria Smith's historic testimony at the State Capital in Austin, Texas this lifelong Democrat who also happens to be a sitting Democratic Election Judge in Harris County, Texas state via text, “She is like fleas on a dog.”

STOP PERSONAL ATTACKS

Nobody has given Democratic Election Judge LaShelle Scott the right to call Demetria Smith, “CRAZY”, or to determine who needs mental help. Hell, I’ve actually heard folks call her crazy for alleging that she was sexually assaulted by a fellow Democrat. For the record, I actually defended her. Now, I totally understand that she (LaShelle Scott) is sick right now. So I don’t want any of you guys to come down too hard on her; but she needs to go. She needs to focus on her health. Having “STAGE 3 BREAST CANCER” is no joke. I understand that these “ELECTION BILLS” are important to her; but in my opinion she’s not good for the Democratic Party right now. “The last thing I am doing is pushing back on these vote bills,” she told me last week. “And I’m ok I’ve had time to accept my fate and prepare to fight,” she said. Thus, the Harris County Democratic Party should ask LaShelle Scott, the Democratic Precinct Judge, and Precinct Chair for Precinct 559 to relinquish her post before she embarrasses them. Why? Well, her defiance of “THE ELECTION INTEGRITY BILLS” is actually working against the narrative that Democrats are actually trying to write if you ask me. “As an election judge I’m not allowing anyone to film a voter casting their ballot,” she says. “And I wish someone would try to film me or stand over my shoulder as I cast my ballot,” she went on to say. “We are prepping for these bills,” she said in defiance of “THE ELECTION INTEGRITY BILLS” currently under consideration.

Her saying that Demetria Smith, is, “like fleas on a dog,” should be denounced by “GOOD DEMOCRATS” who have love in their hearts.

TRUTH OF THE MATTER

If we’re honest with ourselves, we all know that women are still fighting an uphill battle in politics as well as inside boardrooms across America. Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
