Sheila Jackson Lee, Dr. Jack Christie, John Whitmire, and Lee Kaplan are the top four Candidates running for Mayor

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (top left), could be the woman to beat in the upcoming Tuesday, November 7, 2023, race for Mayor of Houston. As it stands right now, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and Dr. Jack Christie (center) are more than likely the two front-runners, with Jackson Lee, holding a slight lead. With the entry of Dr. Jack Christie into the race, state Senator John Whitmire appears to have dropped to third. And with the lackluster campaign former Metro Chairman Gilbert Garcia is running, he appears to have dropped out of the picture, and attorney Lee Kaplan could be running in a distant fourth right now. FILING DEADLINE... Attorney Tony Buzbee was expected to enter the race for Mayor sometime today (Monday, August 21, 2023), but is expected to run for Houston City Council District G and challenge Councilwoman Mary Nan Huffman, which would leave the way for Dr. Jack Christie to have a better shot to become the next Mayor of Houston, Texas.

Attorney Tony Buzbee teased a run for Mayor of Houston on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 5:59 p.m., by stating, "The filing deadline for municipal elections is 5 p.m. Monday, August 21st. How is parking at midday on a Monday around City Hall? Let’s go!" He posted this message with a picture of him standing in front of a crowd with his sign for Mayor of Houston showing. However, attorney Tony Buzbee expected to run for the Houston City Council District G seat, instead of Mayor.

Dr. Jack Christie could be just what the doctor ordered as it relates to dealing with "SHE-JACK" and other corrupt members of the "ELLIS/TURNER POLITICAL REGIME" whose deadly policies have turned the City of Houston into the death capital of America. Dr. Jack Christie, a "TRUE CONSERVATIVE" faced off against African-American female opponents three times in the race for At-Large Houston City Position #5, and came away victorious all three times. That being said, Sheila Jackson Lee would be no match for Dr. Christie in a December runoff.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Dr. Jack Christie, John Whitmire, and Lee Kaplan are running for Mayor of Houston

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I never thought I would be saying this, but Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee could be a lock to make the runoff in the race for Mayor of Houston, Texas if the candidates running against her don't take her candidacy more seriously.

When you really break things down, many of the candidates running against Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, seem to be willing to concede the African American vote to her, which is a huge mistake in my opinion. Why? Well, African Americans don't like Sheila like that!!!

"MOVING AHEAD."

To get ahead, the African-American community vote must be treated like a precious commodity, or anything else of value. Just like water is needed for the human body to sustain life, politicians need the votes to remain in office. That being said, anything that becomes stagnant will eventually die, and that's exactly what you see happening as the once-powerful "BLACK VOTING BLOC" is becoming weaker and weaker with each passing election.

Ever since the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed into law back on August 6, 1965, by President Lyndon B. Johnson, politicians have been coming to churches in "THE BLACK COMMUNITY" and using pulpits as their messaging centers, and political playgrounds. However, after these politicians, like Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and her buddies have suckered my people into supporting them, at the ballot box, they turn their backs on us until the next voting cycle rolls around.

Listen!!! Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee does not deserve the support of African-American voters, or financial contributions from Black-owned businesses. This woman is a straight-up fraud and does not give a damn about African-American women, or Black entrepreneurs, and I can prove it.

"SHEILA IS BAD."

Back on 6/12/2013, the Sheila Jackson Lee for Mayor of Houston Campaign spent $1,060.00, to purchase a whole bunch of tickets from "PRIDE HOUSTON" to support the LGBTQ+ Community, but didn't spend any of the $1,218,886.08, that she raised to support local "BLACK NEWSPAPER" to recognition the "JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY" which took place back on June 19, 2023.

"SERIOUS QUESTION."

If this Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, is supposedly a fierce fighter for the Black community, Black causes, Black issues, and Black concerns, why doesn't she support “BLACK NEWSPAPERS” like the Houston Forward Times (owned by Karen Carter Richards), Houston Defender (owned by Sonceria Messiah Jiles), Houston Style Magazine (posted by Francis Page, Jr.), African American News & Issues (owned by Roy and Sheryl Malonson), Demars Business Journal (owned by Keith J. Davis, Sr., better known as Mr. Demars), and the Houston Sun Newspaper, that’s published by Dorris Ellis, with some of her new-found wealth?
