Look, things aren't adding up!!! The final Presidential Debate before Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020, took place last night, Thursday, October 22, 2020, between President Donald J. Trump, and Senator Joe Biden. But that's not the biggest story reverberating through Houston's African American community this morning. Folks in the Black community are starting to wonder whether Presidential Front-runner Sen. Joe Biden's Texas Political Director Dallas Jones was really snatched up by the FBI on last Saturday morning from his Houston area home. Are the rumors true? Opinions are split right now, but one thing is for certain -- DALLAS JONES IS MISSING IN ACTION at the very least. And if so, who posted, what appears to be a "FAKE STATUS UPDATE" on his social media page trying to portray the image that he had just received a coveted Stella Trimble Community Service Award on last Sunday, October 18th? While it's true that his name was called to receive the award -- it has become evidently clear that Dallas Jones was not on stage last Sunday at The Fountain of Praise, that’s located at 13950 Hillcroft Avenue in Houston, Texas, morning to receive his award. What doe this mean? Well, it means that somebody may have fooled a bunch of local leaders who chimed in to congratulate Dallas Jones, in what perhaps was a feeble attempt to quale the rumors that Dallas Jones had been picked up by the FBI. In case you're wondering who some of the leaders are who actually thought they were communicating with Dallas Jones here's the shortlist: Political Consultant Ron Jackson, Democratic Precinct Chair Sheryl Scott Taylor, City Councilwoman Martha Castex Tatum, Carl Davis, and Businesswoman Valencia Bell were among them. Heck, even Co-Pastor Mia Knight Wright chimed in on the Facebook post. "Well deserved Dallas! Keep up the amazing work. As Isaiah DeVon ParKs said, pursue purpose and favor will find you," said Mia Knight Wright. But was Dallas Jones there? Nobody Has Heard A Peep Out of Dallas Jones in Nearly a Week; But Where is Dallas Jones?

The last Presidential debate of the 2020 Presidential Election cycle went down last night, Thursday, October 23, 2020. But the Presidential debate between President Donald J. Trump, the Republican, and his challenger Senator Joe Biden is the talk of the town in Houston, Texas. The number one question that’s reverberating throughout the Black community centers around political consultant Dallas Jones and his whereabouts. In case you haven’t heard, nobody, and I do mean nobody has seen, nor heard a peep out of Dallas Jones, who was recently appointed as the Texas Political Director of the Biden-Harris Presidential Campaign. I am not into rumors, so I will stick to what I know – Dallas Jones appears to be missing – I know that for sure. How can I say this? Well, on the morning of Saturday, October 17, 2020, at around 10:00 am or so, I began receiving phone calls and text messages from elected officials and other business and civic leaders asking if I had heard about what had happened to Dallas Jones. “What happened to Dallas?” – I replied to one caller. “He was picked up by the Feds,” the caller replied. “Why are you calling me about Dallas Jones?” – I asked the caller. “Because people are getting nervous and are starting to get concerned about him,” the caller explained. “What in the hell does that have to do with me?” – I asked. “Since you have been writing about him, we just thought you would know something about it,” the caller stated. “Well, I don’t know anything about it, and this is the first I’m hearing about what this,” I told the caller. Now, a lot has happened since I received that initial phone call on Saturday, Morning. What’s happened? I’m about to tell you if you hold your horses. Well, as far as I can tell, Dallas Jones does indeed appear to be missing. Whether or not he’s in the hands of the FBI or some other Law Enforcement Agency – I DO NOT KNOW AT THIS TIME! However, one thing is for sure – Dallas Jones has been noticeably missing from the campaign trail and the rumor mill is churning and turning. Believe me, I’ve been asking around, and people who should be able to make contact with Dallas Jones hasn’t been able to do so. However, someone (whom I do not believe was Dallas Jones) posted a Facebook “STATUS UPDATE” on Sunday, Morning which stated, “Truly honored on the 61st Church Anniversary to receive the church’s coveted Stella Trimble Community Service Award. Thank you to my pastors and church family for bestowing this honor upon me. I love my TFOP family! It isn’t always easy but it’s nescessary. I have committed my life to trying to change this world before my time expires in whatever ways possible. It’s horrible that there are evil and corrupt forces out there that will sell their souls to stop that work! But I will not moved! They that WAIT....” So, after I was forwarded, (what was supposed to be a Facebook status update posted by Dallas Jones) I got a little concerned. Why? Well, for starters, I have never worked directly with Dallas Jones, but I have received emails from Elite Change, Inc. – Dallas’ company. And Dallas Jones would know how to spell the word “NESCESSARY”. Notice that in the Facebook message the word “NECESSARY” is spelled “NESCESSARY” – which is not correct. Also notice where the person whom I don’t believe was Dallas Jones stated, “I have committed my life to trying to change this world before my time expires in whatever ways possible.” I believe from watching Dallas Jones for many years that he would have not have written that sentence like that. I believe Dallas Jones would have written that sentence like that. And notice how the person (whom I don’t believe is Dallas Jones, said, “But I will not moved!” In case you don’t notice, the word, “BE” is missing between “WILL” and “NOT” in that sentence. That sentence should be written, “But I will not be moved!” not “But I Will not moved!” Again, Dallas Jones is a master of his craft, so I do not believe that he would make these sorts of grammatical errors. So what did I do? Well, I went to church. I set out to verify whether or not Dallas Jones actually received the Stella Trimble Community Service Award, like the person (who I do not believe was Dallas Jones) posted via his Facebook account on Sunday morning. As I stated, I cannot confirm Dallas Jones’ whereabouts; but I can affirm with complete certainty that on Sunday, October 18, 2020, someone logged onto Dallas Jones’ Facebook account and pretended to be Dallas Jones. And I can also assure you that it is highly unlikely that Dallas Jones was at the Sunday Morning Worship Service that was held at The Fountain of Praise, that’s located at 13950 Hillcroft Avenue in Houston, Texas, back on Sunday, October 18, 2020. How do I know? Well, as I said, I watched the entire church service online and I did see people like Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, Attorney Cheryl Elliott Thornton, Tenisha Hudspeth, Quintin Wiltz, and several other leaders – but I never saw any footage of Dallas Jones. I would also have you know when the other Stella Trimble Community Service Award Recipients took the stage to be honored last Sunday at the 61st Church Anniversary Service at the Fountain of Praise – holding their beautiful awards, Dallas Jones was not on the stage with them. THE RUMOR MILL IS CHURNING
I don’t know who the “CHRIS CROSS” guy is, but he’s claiming that he has sources that have confirmed the Dallas Jones is currently under FBI investigation for illegal mail ballot harvesting was fired by @JoeBiden campaign. He also claimed in the tweet that the FBI brought Dallas Jones in for questioning on Saturday. Whether any of this is true or not, I don’t know. However, I am starting to wonder why this morning -- the day after the last Presidential Debate between President Trump, and Senator Biden, are we not seeing some sort of posting from Dallas Jones – if he’s still the Texas Political Director for the Joe Biden for President Campaign.

Dallas S. Jones is an entrepreneur, political commentator, and community activist. Since 2006, Mr. Jones has grown ELITE Change to become a nationally and internationally recognized firm in the areas of Public Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Business Development. In 2014, ELITE Change, Inc. was recognized with the Pinnacle Award from the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce. In 2016 Mr. Jones formed Jones Group International, LLC (JGI), which focuses on bringing transformational change to populations across the globe.
Mr. Jones was named one of the 40 power leaders under 40 in the country by the NAACP, at the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Summit. The Houston Business Journal named Mr. Jones as one of the 40 young business leaders under 40 in Houston. Mr. Jones is also a well-known commentator on television, radio, and print. His works have been published in the New York Times, Ebony, Essence, and a host of others. Mr. Jones worked with the Harris County Democratic Party, to create a campaign around 19 African American women running for judicial seats, an election that solidified Democratic control of the judiciary in Harris County.
Jones is active in the community where he serves as First Vice President of the Houston NAACP, Vice-Chair of the Fourth Ward Redevelopment Authority, and is a Commissioner of the Houston Land Assemblage and Redevelopment Authority. On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Fort Bend ISD Trustee Kristin Tassin is being challenged by Dr. Shirley Rose-Guilliam in the FBISD Position #4 race. As a reminder, these two candidates faced off against each other back in 2017 in a close race -- but there was a third candidate, by the name of Rodrigo Carreon in that race. In case you don't remember, Dr. Shirley Rose-Gilliam gave Tassin all she could handle and would have forced her into a runoff -- if FBISD had runoff elections. Anyways, as a refresher, back in 2017, Kristin Tassin received 2,654 votes, for 49.35% of the vote. Dr. Shirley Rose-Gilliam received 2,227 votes, for 41.41% of the vote. And Rodrigo Carreon received 497 votes for 9.24% of the vote. So, please don't forget that Dr. Shirley Rose-Gilliam is asking for your vote in this race.
