I haven't seen the list of names that are 'alleged' to have been handed over to the authorities already. All I can tell you at this time is that several sources have told me that the list has (19) nineteen names on it, and another source claimed the list has only (17) names on it. Now, it's unclear at this time, how many "BLACK ELECTED OFFICIALS" are on the 'alleged' list of names that Rhonda Skillern-Jones has supposedly already turned over to the authorities."

Depending on who brings you the news, Rhonda Skillern-Jones was either fired by Harris County Precinct One Commissioner Rodney Ellis after her indictment was unsealed yesterday, Thursday, December 16, 2021, or she quit. Heck, most people didn’t even know that Rhonda Skillern-Jones was employed by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis. Anyways, for those of you who don’t know, Rhonda Skillern-Jones has been working for Commissioner Ellis for a long time. What has she been doing? Well, she worked inside the “COMMUNITY & GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT” as one of Commissioner Ellis’ Community Coordinators, and was responsible for organizing community meetings and events, and coordinating functions with local organizations like the Houston Food Bank. And she was also responsible, along with other team members for doing door-to-door canvasing in certain neighborhoods to inform residents about important resources.

According to the FBI, Anthony Hutchison maintained a "BRIBE LEDGER" that he used to track his bribe payments. His ledger detailed the "BRIBE PAYMENTS" he made in exchange for assistance with securing particular purchase orders, according to the FBI. Inside his "BRIBE LEDGER," he would actually list the HISD Schools where his companies did construction, repair, grounds maintenance, and landscaping work. Anthony Hutchison would also detail the type of work he performed; the amount of the invoice paid by HISD for the work, and the amount of "THE BRIBE" that he paid. But he didn't stop there, Anthony Hutchison would also list the identity of "THE BRIBE RECIPIENT" by using their initials or first name, according to the FBI. But he didn't stop there. He would also write down the date that the bribe was paid; and at times, he would also write down the location at which the bribe was paid, such as at local restaurants or schools or while on trips to Las Vegas with bribe recipients. GETTING A LITTLE SOMETHING
According to the United States Government, from 2011 to 2020, Brian Busby, identified as ADMINISTRATOR 1 in the criminal Information, served as the HISD Chief Operating Officer, among other positions. SKILLERN-JONES was elected to the HISD Board of Education as a Trustee and served two terms from 2012 to 2019. She was the President of the Board in 2015 and 2018. Anthony Hutchinson, operating as Southwest Wholesale LLC (Southwest Wholesale) and Just Partners Construction LLC (Just Construction) and identified as BUSINESSMAN 1 in the Criminal Information, obtained contracts and purchase orders from HISD to provide grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, and repair services to HISD schools and other properties.
In 2017 while serving on the HISD Board, SKILLERN-JONES wanted to spend funds on landscaping projects at schools in her district. She discussed the project with Busby, who said they should get Hutchison to do the work because then “they can get a little something from it.” They agreed to arrange for Hutchinson to do the landscaping work on the proposed HISD project. At the August 10, 2017, Board of Trustees meeting, SKILLERN-JONES requested a budget allocation of $231,645 to schools in her district for landscaping additions. SKILLERN-JONES voted in favor of this agenda item, which was approved by the Board on that date.
According to Hutchison’s bribe ledger recovered by the Federal Bureau of Investigation during a search of Hutchison’s residence, Hutchison made two bribe payments to SKILLERN-JONES in 2017, each for approximately $10,000. Busby met SKILLERN-JONES at a Walmart parking lot in Houston and delivered to SKILLERN-JONES cash from Hutchison. SKILLERN-JONES recalls receiving approximately $12,000 from Busby.
MONEY. MONEY. MONEY.
What a lot of folks don’t realize is that there was some big money involved with this scheme. From what I understand, way back in March of 2018, Southwest Wholesale didn’t even complete the job they’d been awarded related to Sharpstown Middle School’s playing fields. That particular contract entailed, Sharpstown Middle School receiving $984 million in renovations. And get this, the $984 million was paid in full according to court records – even though the work had not been completed. Now, according to court documents, the sports director for HISD expressed concerns about the “HIGH PRICE” tag of the project, but Brian Busby, according to court documents went through with awarding the contract to Southwest Wholesale anyway.

When I first learned that Rhonda Skillern-Jones and others had been indicted by the FBI, the first person I thought of was, Gerry "THE 5 STAR GENERAL" Monroe. I couldn’t help but wonder how much (if anything) he had to do with bringing down the seemingly untouchable former HISD School Board President, who currently serves as the HCC School Board Trustee for District II. So, I called up ole’ 5 Star to see what he had to say:
“Aubrey this is my official statement about today's events as it relates to Rhonda Skillern-Jones.
The indictment coming down on former HISD School Board President Rhonda Skillern-Jones goes to prove that everything that I've been saying for the last 10 years is true. And the scariest part about all of this is knowing that Rhonda currently works for Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis. If you stop and think about it, that should tell you something right there.
If you ask me, I think ELLIS should be on pins and needles right about now, because Skillern-Jones knows where the dead bodies are buried – so to speak. And get this, nobody really knows what Ellis and Skillern-Jones have been talking about in their face-to-face meetings over the course of the last few months. And another thing you must look at (which is just the truth), but trust me, I'm not accusing anybody of anything. But Jolanda Jones and Wanda Adams both came off the school board at the same time as Rhonda Skillern-Jones – what’s up with that?
Almost every black politician in Harris County (give or take a few) as well as Fort Bend Count is corrupt in my opinion. I think the biggest question the data people wanna know right now is, “Did I have anything to do with what happened with folks being indicted, yesterday?” So, I'll leave you with this, ` when I got ready to run for the Houston Independent School Board, I told them, ‘if you get in my race I'm going to come to see you!!! And from how things look right now, it looks like somebody got some company; but all of this was $HiT with Rhonda Skillern-Jones was already going down prior to me making those comments.
So, let me say it like this, ‘some of y'all are on the clock right now! Will there be other indictments? I'm about 98% sure that more indictments are coming down the pike. Now, I must say, I could kind of feel bad that a lady that did a lotta good work in the community is now facing prison. But at the end of the day, I don't because everything Rhonda Skillern-Jones did good, she wiped out with her dirty deeds. And on top of that, she’s now, going to turn around and snitch on the very people that paid her $1,000s of dollars.
Now, after saying all of that, I can’t help but wonder who else Rhonda Skillern-Jones is gonna snitch on. If you look at it, this woman is the reason why we need for the Conservatives to take back the school system; because everybody involved in this fiasco is Democrats. Not all Democrats are dirty, but, this woman and people close to her are corrupt. And in my opinion, these people have no business around our kids.
This is NOT over – not by a long shot!!!”

Guilty pleas entered and HISD official indicted in federal corruption probe
HOUSTON – The former chief operating officer of the Houston Independent School District (HISD) has been indicted along with another individual, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Jennifer B. Lowery. Several other former HISD officials have also admitted their guilt in the same corruption case.
Law enforcement took former chief operating officer Brian Busby, 43, and HISD contract vendor Anthony Hutchison, 60, both of Houston, into custody today. They are expected to make their initial appearances before U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew Edison at 2 p.m.
“This investigation and resulting indictments reflect my office’s commitment to rooting out public corruption in the Southern District of Texas,” said Lowery. “We will not stand idly by when there are people in positions of trust who are suspected of such wrongdoing. We will consider any matter our law enforcement partners bring us involving suspected fraud, waste and abuse of power by those in whom we have placed our faith and confidence and work to hold them accountable.”
A federal grand jury returned the indictment Dec. 14, which was unsealed today. Previously filed was a plea agreement former HISD Board of Education president Rhonda Skillern-Jones, 39, Houston, had entered as well as plea agreements by other former HISD officials. Those officials included Derrick Sanders, 50, Missouri City, officer of construction services; Alfred Hoskins, 58, Missouri City, general manager of facilities, maintenance and operations; Gerron Hall, 47, Missouri City, area manager for maintenance (south); and Luis Tovar, 39, Huffman, area manager for maintenance (north).
“Today's arrests and related charges are the result of a lengthy, multifaceted FBI Houston investigation,” said Acting Special Agent in Charge Richard A. Collodi.” Houston taxpayers and the thousands of HISD students, along with their teachers and staff, are the potential victims of this alleged multimillion-dollar public corruption scheme. The FBI will continue to work to hold accountable public officials who fail the citizens of their community by accepting bribes, and those who pay bribes.”
“The indictment of these two individuals alleges the misuse of their positions of trust within our education system,” said Assistant Special Agent in Charge Ramsey E. Covington of IRS-Criminal Investigation (CI). “IRS-CI special agents are committed to protecting the integrity of our system of taxation by investigating individuals who violate the tax laws and related financial crimes.”
The 26-count indictment charges Busby and Hutchison with conspiring to engage in a bribery scheme. Busby allegedly helped award HISD construction and grounds maintenance contracts to Hutchison in return for cash bribes and hundreds of thousands of dollars in home remodeling.
According to the indictment, Hoskins, Sanders, Hall, Tovar and Skillern-Jones conspired with Busby and Hutchison to accept bribes from Hutchison for helping to award, or not interfering in the award of, HISD contracts to Hutchison.
Operating as Southwest Wholesale, Hutchison allegedly entered long-term contracts with HISD to provide grounds maintenance to schools. The indictment alleges that from 2011 to 2020, Hutchison systematically overbilled HISD and inflated bills for services, causing millions of dollars in loss to the school district. Hutchison paid a portion of his fraudulently boosted profits to Busby in the form of cash payments and free home remodeling, according to the charges.
According to the indictment, Hutchison also obtained purchase orders for construction, repair, landscaping and maintenance jobs at particular HISD schools. Hutchison obtained these jobs by paying cash bribes, mostly in the form of kickbacks, to HISD personnel who assisted him in obtaining business with HISD, according to the charges. Those allegedly included Busby, Sanders, Hoskins, Hall, Tovar and Skillern-Jones.
According to the indictment, once Busby and Hutchison learned of the federal criminal probe, they took steps to interfere in the investigation.
Sanders, Hoskins, Hall and Tovar have admitted they helped award, or refrained from interfering in the award of, HISD jobs to Hutchison, typically at Busby’s insistence. As part of her plea, Skillern-Jones admitted that, in return for bribe payments from Hutchison, she caused an expenditure of funds for school landscaping and construction projects to be placed on a 2017 HISD Board agenda and voted to approve it. They were eventually awarded to Hutchison. In her plea agreement, she admitted Busby personally delivered thousands of dollars in bribe payments to her from Hutchison.
During execution of search warrants in 2020 at the homes of Busby and Hutchison, authorities allegedly discovered over $186,000 in cash. The indictment gives notice of the government’s intent to forfeit these sums as proceeds of the charged crimes.
Busby and Hutchison are charged with conspiracy, bribery concerning programs receiving federal funds, and witness tampering. Hutchison is further charged with wire fraud. If convicted, they face up to five, 10 and 20 years, respectively, for the conspiracy, bribery and witness tampering charges. Hutchison also faces up to 20 years for each count of wire fraud.
Hoskins, Sanders, Hall, Tovar and Skillern-Jones have pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charges. They face up to five years in prison.
All of the charges also carry a $250,000 maximum possible fine.
The FBI and the IRS - Criminal Investigation are conducting the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA) Robert S. Johnson is prosecuting the case. AUSA Kristine Rollinson is handling forfeiture matters.
Busby and Hutchison are presumed innocent unless convicted through due process of law.

What we're about to see on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Harris County, Texas is a very close election between the "2022 DEMOCRATIC NOMINEES" and the "2022 REPUBLICAN NOMINEES," if you ask me. How can I say this? Well, because there's not going to be any straight-ticket voting in the 2022 Midterm Election. Secondly, the Harris County Elections Administrator won't be able to flood the mailboxes of registered voters with unsolicited mail-ballot applications. Thirdly, there won't be any 24-hour voting. Fourthly, there won't be any drive-thru voting. And finally, the skyrocketing crime and alleged corruption in Harris County, Texas is going to be a huge motivating factor for registered voters to get off the couch and skedaddle to the polls.

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in the upcoming 2022 Midterms, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
