Blacks Loved Ed Emmett, a Conservative Who Was Admired, Respected and Supported by People from All Walks of Life

Black folks, especially African American female voters loved former Harris County Judge Ed Emmett. I took this picture of Ed Emmett with Vickie Byrd, Tina Marie Jones-Green, Judge Ed Emmett, and Donna Lewis back during a 2018 Midterm Election Candidates Forum that was hosted by The Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church; and The Houston Urban League Young Professionals. For the record, Harris County Judge Ed Emmett is to this day, the best Harris County Judge that Harris County has ever seen. That being said, Ed Emmett was someone the whole county loved, admired, and appreciated. And truth be told, candidates like Ed Emmett, don't come around every election cycle. Ed is a rarety and possessed the uncanny ability to get "PEOPLE OF COLOR" to look past partisan labels and see him as someone who had their best interests in mind. And if you ask me, former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez also possesses a special ability to meet people where they are, and cause them to see past partisan politics.

Former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez is the only candidate left who has a broad enough coalition to defeat "lying" Lina Hidalgo on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the race for Harris County Judge. A study of the 2018 Midterm turnout numbers shows that "lying" Lina Hidalgo received fewer votes than any other Democratic candidate who was on the ballot running countywide in Harris County, Texas.

Former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez is the perfect antidote to counteract the "DEADLY POLICIES" of "lying" Lina Hidalgo and the corruption that's shaking Harris County politics to its core like the rattler on the tail of a Texas rattlesnake. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo must resign, or be voted out of office at the ballot box on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. And Vidal Martinez is the only candidate left who can defeat her.

Former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez is the kind of candidate who will be able to garner votes from every precinct in Harris County, Texas. Vidal can reach deep into places like Sunnyside, Acres Homes, Third Ward, Fourth Ward, Fifth Ward, Hiram Clarke, South Park, Greenspoint, Barret Station, Kashmere Gardens, Pleasantville, Independence Heights, and many others that have traditionally been reachable.

Former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez is the kind of candidate who can build the type of coalition that can reach the hard-to-reach Black male, and female voters who were registered, but didn't go to the polls to cast their vote for anyone back on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, in the Midterm Election.

Former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez will be a Harris County Judge for the people. And above that, Vidal would make the kind of Harris County Judge people from all walks of life can be proud of.

Lina's Greed, Thirst for Power, Selfishness Has Ruined Her Political Career, Threatens to End Democratic Dominance

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

You don’t have to be a political analyst to see that Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s reelection bid is hemorrhaging right now. Especially with three of her staffers under felony indictment. The biggest question on the mind of many Democrats is, “whether or not “lying” Lina Hidalgo will get indicted.”

Do you think that Lina’s campaign staff, were acting alone? Are you crazy enough to believe that “lying” Lina Hidalgo was “oblivious” to what was playing out right under her nose? Well, if so, I’m going to help you out a little with this report.

Remember the warrant that was filed for the “GOOGLE DOCS” last week? Well, those “GOOGLE DOCS” are important because, The Texas Ranger, according to his “AFFIDAVIT” has already explained, “I have reviewed the transcript of a series of texts made on January 12, 2021, between Triantaphyllis and Nader.”

The Texas Ranger has also already stated, on January 12, 2021, at 4:58 p.m. that Triantaphyllis texted Nadar another “GOOGLE DOC” link. And he’s also described in his “AFFIDAVIT” that this particular link said, “OK, I got her to agree with this scope.” Who is the “HER” the two are talking about? Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo is the person that Alex Triantaphyllis is talking about.

And I further know that Alex Triantaphyllis, who happens to be Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s chief of staff was talking about her, because, according to the Texas Ranger, the next text exchange between Triantaphyllis and Nader said, “I made a copy (the above link) so that we can have the old doc (with her edits) for reference. Again, the “HER” whom Alex Triantaphyllis and Nader appear to be referring to on (PAGE 7) of the Texas Rangers’ “AFFIDAVIT” appears to be none other than Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.

LINA’S MEDIA MACHINE

Believe it or not, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo should not be saying a word about the six felony indictments that have been brought against three of her top aides earlier this week. In case you haven’t been following, Tuesday, Harris County Judge used her “MEDIA MACHINE” to defend Alex Triantaphyllis, her chief of staff, Wallis Nader, her policy director, and her former policy aide by the name of Aaron Dunn. All of whom have been charged with misuse of official information and tampering with a government record.

WHY LINA IS STILL TALKING

If you’re wondering why “lying” Lina continues to defend Triantaphyllis, Nader, and Dunn publicly all you have to do is understand that these three people are on shaky ground right now. And what “lying” Lina is trying to do is keep them from squealing, or spilling the beans, so to speak. By publicly declaring that she has seen nothing to suggest that they had done anything wrong, what she appears to be trying to do is convince them to keep their mouths shut.

And by continuing to suggest that the entire investigation against her and her staff is some sort of “POLITICALLY MOTIVATED” effort to purposely derail her campaign is a flat-out lie. According to media reports she stated, "I ran against a style of politics in Harris County that worked more for the individuals who held office than for the people who voted for them." But, again, she’s not telling the truth. Truth be told, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis is the person who is running the county right now. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo is nothing more than a puppet for Rodney Ellis.

She also stated, "I don't play the game. And that's threatening to the powers that be." But what game is she talking about? Her “POLITICAL PARTY” is in power right now.

The current Harris County District Attorney is a Democrat – in case you haven’t noticed. So, “lying” Lina’s greed, and ambition seems to have gotten the better of her on this one – not her political adversaries.

Former Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, along with the help of people like political analyst Jacquie Baly was able to hold Lina Hidalgo under 50% back during the 2018 Midterm Election.

When "lying Lina Hidalgo ran for office back in the 2018 Midterm Election, she ended up being the weakest of the (87) eighty-seven Democratic candidates who were running countywide in Harris County, Texas. In fact, "lying" Lina Hidalgo was so weak that she was the only Democratic candidate running countywide who couldn't even capture 50% of the vote in her race. That being said, "lying" Lina Hidalgo only received 595,221 votes for 49.78% of the vote. And get this, 515,812 of the 595,221, votes she received came by way of "STRAIGHT-TICKET" voting. So, in reality, only 79,409 people actually voted to elect "lying" Lina Hidalgo, a Democrat over former Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, a very popular Republican who was loved and admired by Republicans and Democrats alike.

Study of the 2018 Midterm Election Numbers Proves "Lying" Lina Hidalgo Was the Weakest Democrat Countywide Candidate on the Ballot in Harris County, Texas

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

For the life of me, I cannot understand why Democrats haven't begun calling for Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo to step aside. Don't they realize that "lying" Lina has become a serious liability? Don't they realize that many Black and Latino voters hate Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo? Don't they realize that even "LOYAL DEMOCRATIC VOTERS" are becoming more and more aware of the fact that Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo's presence on the ballot is about to hurt the entire Democratic Party ticket?  Do they realize that "lying" Lina is in some serious trouble right now? Anyways, Lina Hidalgo is about to become "THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING" between now and Tuesday, November 8, 2022, when she faces off against either Alexandra del Moral Mealer or former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez, the last two Republican hopefuls who are vying to unseat the embattled Harris County Judge.

LINA HIDALGO IS SELFISH

At this point, win, or lose, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo has already made herself a millionaire. So, "lying" Lina doesn't even really need to be Harris County Judge anymore. However, many of the down-ballot Democrats need their jobs. In fact, many of them desperately need their jobs. Why? Judges don't make a lot of money. And many Black judges aren't receiving the kind of donations that their fellow Democrats are raking in right now. That being said, it's selfish of "lying" Lina Hidalgo to drag down the entire Democratic ballot, when she's fully aware that an indictment could be coming her way between now and Tuesday, November 8, 2022, when she faces off against her Republican counterpart.

Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, and Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo both have to go. These are "TWO DIRTY DEMOCRATS" who are making the entire Democratic Party look dirty at this point. Both, Commissioner Garcia, and 'lying' Lina Hidalgo should resign their positions and allow Democrats the opportunity to select better nominees for the upcoming Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election.

"I am happy to announce my endorsement of Vidal Martinez for Harris County Judge. Over the last six months, I was able to get to know Vidal and the other candidates for County Judge quite well, and he is easily the most qualified candidate in the run-off election race and our best chance at beating Lina Hidalgo. As Republicans, we all know and agree on the major issues and shortcomings at Commissioners Court, and Vidal Martinez will be ready to execute change on day one. His experience as a federal prosecutor, time spent serving as Houston Port Commissioner and Greater Houston Partnership board member, as well as his tenure on the Methodist Hospital System Board means that he will not need any on-the-job training and can hit the ground running. Vidal Martinez is the leader we need to bring common sense back to Harris County, and he has my full support. I urge you to join me in voting for Vidal Martinez for Harris County Judge on May 24th."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for us. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must make it our collective effort to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment in time."

Favoritism and Party Politics Have No Place Inside Our Harris County Courtrooms

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

At the end of the day, the judicial races are the most important races on the ballot. That said, who we allow to put on that black robe and occupy judicial benches (especially in Harris County, Texas) matters a great deal. Over the years, through straight-ticket voting, and folks going into the polls playing "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" we've allowed a few bad folks to slip through the cracks. Now, I'm not trying to play party politics in any way, shape, or form, with my words. All I'm trying to say is that nobody is perfect, but if we make it our goal to elevate people who fear God and have a backbone into positions of authority, every one of us will be afforded the opportunity to live our best life.
