Jarvis Johnson and His Wife, Charlene Ward Johnson, Must Both Be Rejected at the Ballot Box on May 28th

Charlene Ward Johnson (second from left), the HCC Board Trustee for District II, claimed she was sipping lemonade after being caught on camera during an open Board Meeting earlier this year. However, her response after she was caught drinking the beverage with salt or sugar on the rim should tell the voters of House District 139 all they need to know about Charlene Ward Johnson. SERIOUS TRAIN WRECK... Democrats must not make the mistake of electing Jarvis Johnson and his lying wife, Charlene, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, for more reasons than one, but these two are a train wreck waiting to happen and should be rejected at the ballot box. Was HCC Board Trustee Charlene Ward Johnson drinking lemonade or a frozen margarita with sugar or salt on the rim -- you be the judge. You can "CLICK HERE" to the ABC-13 news report.

Lemonade is not served with salt or sugar on the rim of the glass. However, HCC Board Trustee Charlene Ward Johnson wants the entire world to believe she was drinking lemonade. At the same time, she attended an official (HCC) Houston Community College " OFFICIAL BOARD MEETING" a few months ago via livestream. You can "CLICK HERE" to view ABC-13's news report.

Do you believe Charlene Ward Johnson would not have had the reaction she did on camera if she was merely drinking a glass of freshly squeezed lemonade? Charlene Ward Johnson and her husband, State Rep. Jarvis Johnson, are a train wreck waiting to happen if they're elected on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the Democratic Party Primary races for House District 139 and Senate District 15. Both Jarvis and his wife should be rejected at the ballot box.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

We must hold legislators responsible for writing laws to a higher standard. Jarvis Johnson did a decent job as the State Representative for House District 139. However, anyone who knows Jarvis Johnson knows he is a train wreck waiting to happen if he’s elected the State Senator for District 15 on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024.

Who does State Rep. Jarvis Johnson and HCC Trustee Charlene Ward Johnson believe they’re fooling – it’s certainly not me. And neither should they be able to pull the wool over the eyes of citizens living in Senate District 15 and State Rep. District 139.

What people do in their personal lives should remain private. However, what Charlene Ward Johnson did at an open (HCC) Houston Community College Board Trustee meeting a few months ago should be addressed.

I don’t know why or how Charlene Ward Johnson still serves as the Houston Community College Board Trustee for District II after being caught red-handed drinking on the job. Who gets a chance to drink on the job without repercussions?

“Charlene Ward Johnson, HCC District II Trustee, caused several interruptions and was live-streamed taking a sip of a beverage in what appears to be a salt or sugar-rimmed glass at an off-site location,” read an initial report by ABC-13’s Jessica Willey back on Friday, January 26th, 2024, which was only a few months ago.

Charlene couldn’t even hold it together for her first HCC Board Meeting of the year, which she attended in person at the Midtown campus. However, after a closed session for the board, Trustee Charlene Ward Johnson was no longer physically present but appeared via an audio stream and had to be prompted to turn her camera on and show her face.

According to ABC-13’s Jessica Willey, “She turned her video on and appeared to have forgotten that she was on a live stream and took a sip of a drink.”

“Four minutes later, she answered when the Board Chair, Cynthia Lenton-Gary, questioned her.”

The livestream shows Trustee Charlene Ward Johnson stating, “It’s lemonade.”

Further in the ABC-13 report, Board Chairman Cynthia Lenton-Gary stated, “The trustee clarified that the beverage she was drinking was lemonade.”

Lenton Gary’s statement said, “We are unable to conclude otherwise based on the information known to us. The governing board is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all its deliberations.”

Who serves lemonade to patrons with salt or sugar on the rim of the glass? Would lemonade taste right with salt or tajin on the rim – I’m just wondering. I’m not a heavy drinker or anything of the sort, but even I know that frozen margaritas (not lemonade) come with salt, sugar, or tajin on the rim of the glass.

If Charlene Ward Johnson would lie about what she was drinking on a night that started with her physically attending a Board Meeting, what else would she lie to the people about?

This woman is a sitting Houston Community College Board Trustee who can’t even wait to sip her favorite beverage before the first meeting of the HCC Board is over.

Are you kidding me?

If Trustee Charlene Ward Johnson is allegedly drunk in Houston, Texas, she’s going to have some severe issues in Austin, Texas. That said, the voters of House District 139 should play it safe and elect Angie Thibodeaux on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, in the Democratic Party Primary runoff election.

“MAIL BALLOT GAME.”

When it comes to low-voter turnout elections, State Rep. Jarvis Johnson and some of the folks pushing his candidacy are very good at playing the “MAIL BALLOT GAME” in predominantly African American areas. Remember when Jarvis D. Johnson faced off against his Democratic rival Kimberly Willis on May 24th, 2016, and beat her using absentee mail ballots?

As a refresher, Jarvis Johnson (Democrat) was running against Kimberly Willis (Democrat) to see who would serve out the remainder of State Rep. Sylvester Turner’s (House District 139) term that was left vacant when Turner became Mayor of the City of Houston.

Somehow, Jarvis Johnson managed to beat his Democratic rival by 173 votes after she had received more in-person votes during “EARLY VOTING” and on “ELECTION DAY,” when voters had to go into polling locations to cast their vote physically.

What foiled Kimberly Willis’s chance of beating Jarvis Johnson and claiming the House District 139 seat on May 24th, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary runoff?

Absentee Mail Ballots!!!

Jarvis Johnson received 716 absentee mail ballots, and Kimberly Willis received 393 absentee mail ballots for a differential of 323 votes in the absentee mail ballot category. Remember, the margin of victory for Jarvis Johnson was only 173 votes, which means “ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOTS” were the culprit.

Kimberly Willis received 523 votes during early voting, and Jarvis Johnson received 466.

On election day, 454 votes were cast in person for Kimberly Willis by voters who physically went to the polls to vote in person, and Jarvise received 370 votes.

The final vote count showed Jarvis Johnson with 1,552 votes, for 52.95%, and Kimberly Willis coming up short with 1,379 votes, which ended up being a 173-vote margin of victory for Jarvis Johnson.

“ANGIE V. CHARLENE.”

Angie Thibodeaux is right with Charlene in the “MAIL BALLOT CATEGORY” unless something nefarious happens on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, when these two face off in the House District 139 Democratic Party Primary runoff election.

Back on “SUPER TUESDAY,” which was Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, Charlene Ward Johnson (Democrat) received 383 absentee mail ballots, and Angie Thibodeaux received 323 absentee mail ballots, which I can live with. However, Angie dominated Charlene in early voting and on election day.

During the “EARLY VOTING PERIOD,” Angie Thibodeaux received 1,888 votes from people who had to go to a polling place to vote physically, while Charlene Ward Johnson received 1,490.

When “ELECTION DAY” rolled around, Angie Thibodeaux had nearly twice as many people go to the polls to vote for her physically. Angie Thibodeaux received 1,458 votes from Democrats who physically went to the polls to cast their vote for her. Comparatively speaking, Charlene Ward Johnson received 775 votes.

The final vote tallies for the House District 139 race on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, showed Angie Thibodeaux dominating Charlene Ward Johnson by garnering 3,672 votes, for 33.29%, and Charlene Ward Johnson receiving 2,654 votes for 24.06%.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

I liked Jerry Ford, Mo Jenkins, and Rosalind Ceasar much better than State Rep. Jarvis Johnson’s wife, who seems to have a penchant for lying about what she’s drinking. However, none of the other candidates could push past this Charlene Ward Johnson woman.

Mo Jenkins, who the Houston Chronicle endorsed finished, was a solid candidate, but unfortunately, she only received 1,948 votes for 17.66%. I like Mo Jenkins and would like to see her make the runoff.

Rosalind Ceasar was another solid candidate but only received 1,869 votes, for 16.94%. I’ve watched Rosalind Ceasar do her thing from afar for a long time. She’s a lifelong Democrat who has dedicated her entire adult life to fighting for people who are sometimes left voiceless without the quality representation they deserve.

Rosalind Ceasar or Mo Jenkins would have been better choices than this. Charlene Ward Johnson slithered her way into making the Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, Democratic Party Primary race for House District 139.

Jerry Ford is another strong candidate on the ballot in the race for House District 139, which took place on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. While Jerry Ford only managed to receive 887 votes, he, just like Rosalind Ceasar and Mo Jenkins, would represent the people of House District 139, much better than State Rep. Jarvis Johnson’s wife, who appears to care more about sipping on beverages than representing her constituents who live within the boundaries of the (HCC) Houston Community College District II.

How can the people of House District 139 be assured that Charlene Ward Johnson will show up to legislative sessions sober when she disappeared from the first (HCC) Houston Community College Board meeting of 2024 to sip her favorite beverage?

The people of House District 139 deserve someone like Angie Thibodeaux as their representative. That said, I pray that the people of (HD-139) reject Charlene Ward Johnson on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024.

Early voting will begin on Monday, May 20th, 2024, and last through Friday, May 24th, 2024.

United States Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Businessman Kenneth Omoruyi, and United States Senator Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) are three strong conservatives who love America, and are committed to protecting the United States Constitution.

“MESSAGE FROM KENNETH.”

Dear Texans, I am Kenneth Omoruyi, running for Congress in the 7th congressional district. I am a first-generation American by choice, a father of three, a CPA, and a college educator.

You see, I was raised by a single mother who single-handedly ensured her six children had a college education in a country without student loans. This humble beginning, combined with conservative values and the fear of GOD, built my resiliency, dedication, and hard work.

As a small business owner, I can relate to our community’s daily challenges, from the rapidly rising cost of living to the lack of access to quality health care and increased crime. There is currently a multitude of challenges facing our district.

I am not a career politician. I am one of you. That’s why I am running for Congress: to fight for you and your family. To expand your access to affordable health care, bring fresh perspectives on improving our educational systems, and restore integrity, accountability, and fiscal responsibility in Washington. I will always put you first. But I cannot do this alone. I need your help. Together, we can make a difference for our district and our country.

Only in America would an immigrant like me aspire to vie for a seat in Congress.

So please join me in this campaign: follow me on social media, and sign up to volunteer or donate.

Thank you, and God bless America.
