His involvement in that COVID-19 Contract debacle with Nextwave Strategies a few years ago was one thing, but these search warrants issued on (Thursday, September 19, 2020), are something altogether different. County Judge KP George could soon find himself indicted and charged with his alleged involvement with his former chief of staff, Taral Patel, and his entanglement with the law.

If you’re looking for a great example of how enforcement of the law is supposed to play out, you don’t have to look any further than Fort Bend County, Texas. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more confident man than Fort Bend County District Attorney Brian Middleton.
Our young men must now see what a real man looks like. I’m telling you Brian Middleton is a man, and he’s a family man who, too. He happens to be affiliated with the Democratic Party, but politics is checked at the door when it comes to his job.
What Brian Middleton is to Fort Bend County is what I hope we can find on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in Harris County, Texas. Many of my friends and clients like Sean Teare, but I don’t know him. All I know is that Teare isn’t a man of his word.
In addition to Sean Teare not being a man of his word, it broke my heart when I learned that he was part of “THE ELLIS REGIME” and plans to do the bidding of Commissioner Ellis if he’s elected to succeed Harris County District Attorney Kin Ogg, which saddens me.
As I said, I wish we had someone like Brian Middleton as our district attorney; it would make my job much more manageable. I hate having to write repeatedly about the corruption in Harris County, Texas – especially when most of it involves my people.

Published reports indicate that Fort Bend County Judge KP George (Democrat) could find himself behind bars shortly if he isn’t careful. “Fort Bend County Judge KP George accused of coordinating with Taral Patel on fake social media posts,” read the headline in the Houston Chronicle article I ran across yesterday.
“Fort Bend County Judge KP George is accused in a new search warrant of coordinating with Precinct 3 candidate Taral Patel on fake social media posts on George’s social media pages in 2022,” read the lead paragraph.
According to the Houston Chronicle, “The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s office on Thursday issued a warrant for George’s “cellular communication devices,” alleging George worked alongside Patel, his chief of staff until May 2021, to use the devices for the purpose of misrepresentation of identity, court document show.”
The warrant Fort Bend District Attorney Brian Middleton issued for County Judge KP George’s communication devices yesterday comes three months after his former chief of staff was arrested.
Patel has been charged with felony online impersonation and was indicted on four counts earlier this month. But while County Judge KP George and Taral Patel have found themselves in trouble with the law, the newly elected Fort Bend County Democratic Party Chairman will have his work cut out for him as he endeavors to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot.

According to his biography on the state legislature’s website, Representative Reynolds was sworn in on January 10, 2011, as State Representative, House District 27. Ron is currently serving his seventh term in the Texas House. He is the first African American State Representative in Fort Bend County since Reconstruction.
Reynolds was named “2021 87th Session Legislator of the Year” by Fort Bend United and The Young & the Politics. His House colleagues voted him “Freshman Legislator of the Year” and “Public Servant of the Year” by the Houston Minority Contractors Association. He served as the House Minority Whip during the 83rd & 84th Legislative sessions. Reynolds is an Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity member and 100 Black Men of America.
Reynolds is the Texas Legislative Black Caucus Chair and Vice Chair of the Texas Energy & Climate Caucus. He is also the founder and past Chair of the Texas House Progressive Caucus and the Legislative Leader for the Texas State NAACP and the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats.
Reynolds is the ranking member of the House Committee on Environmental Regulation and Land & Resource Management.
Before being elected State Representative, Reynolds was an Associate Municipal Judge for the City of Houston, Past President of the Houston Lawyers Association, and Past President of the Missouri City & Vicinity NAACP. He is a recipient of three Honorary Doctorates; “Doctor of Humanities” from Trinity International University of Ambassadors, “Doctor of Philosophy in Humanitarianism” and a “Doctorate of Divinity” from Pendleton Chapel Seminary.
