The Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has been spotted using a walking cane to stabilize herself as she continues to contemplate when to relinquish her 18th Congressional District seat after her alleged pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (left) was spotted using a walking cane to brace herself as her fragile body continues to weaken following her alleged pancreatic cancer diagnosis. After being spotted using a walking cane while talking to VFW National Legislative Committee Member Victor Ramirez on Memorial Day, the Honorable Congresswoman appeared to be noticeably grimacing as she moved about in the sweltering summer heat in H-Town.

I’m Aubrey R. Taylor, the Houston Business Connections Newspaper publisher and investigative reporter. I have conducted investigations in Harris County, Texas, since the 1990s and plan to closely monitor the “ABSENTEE BALLOT FLOW” between now and Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the upcoming Presidential Election in Harris County, Texas.

Early Voting for the HCAD Runoffs Begins on Monday, June 3, 2024; Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Could Resign Soon

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

As of today (Thursday, May 30, 2024), Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s campaign team still has not confirmed or denied the reports that the Honorable Congresswoman has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. However, the fact that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is now walking with the aid of a walking cane is proof that her condition is worsening.

“Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is looking bad,” said one local Black Leader.

“What’s going on with Sheila,” asked another.

Another local Black leader talked off the record about how people had to help the Honorable Congresswoman move about when she attended the funeral of the late civil rights icon and local pastor of the historic Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church last week.

Whether you believe my sources or not, anyone with eyes should be able to see that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, the world-renowned U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District of Texas, is struggling and in pain as she moves about in these sweltering summer temperatures in H-Town.

In the spirit of fairness, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee faces three opponents on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in her reelection bid. If she remains on the ballot, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee may be able to defeat her hungry opponents. But, what’s playing out right now is highly unfair to the Honorable Congresswoman’s 18th Congressional District constituents.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the Republican nominee will be Lana Centonze, running for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. Vince Duncan, who has challenged Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee several times, will run as an Independent candidate on the ballot. A person by the name of Ed Atkinson will be on the ballot representing the Veterans Party.

As an elected official, it’s vitally essential for your constituents to know how you are doing healthwise. As a believer, which I believe Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee professes to be, I think it’s crucial for “THE BODY OF CHRIST” to offer prayers to fellow believers.

It is unclear why Congresswoman Lee’s campaign still has not notified the general public of her health condition. Remember back in 2012, when Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee revealed that she had fully recovered from breast cancer after she had undergone treatment, and had fully recovered? It took the Honorable Congresswoman nearly a year to address the issue in public back then.

“EAR TO THE STREETS.”

I will keep my ear to the street and continue to follow this story. However, with photos of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee being spotted walking with a cane, I’m not sure what timetable the Jackson Lee camp is working on.

Sources close to this matter tell me that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee could resign as the U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District before “LABOR DAY,” Monday, September 2, 2024.

After being spotted using a walking cane while talking to VFW National Legislative Committee Member Victor Ramirez on Memorial Day, the Honorable Congresswoman is beginning to provide us all with visible images that force us all to embrace the fact that the end of a storied political career could be coming to an end.

“HCAD RUNOFFS.”

Believe it or not, another election is about to get underway next week. On Monday, June 3, 2024, the (HCAD) Harris Central Appraisal District “UNIFORM RUNOFF ELECTION” will begin the early voting period.

Early voting will continue through Tuesday, June 11, 2024, with “ELECTION DAY” voting on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Harris County, Texas.

The deadline to apply for a “BALLOT BY MAIL” is Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

With local politics becoming increasingly divisive, I’m elected to “STANDDOWN” on the HCAD runoff elections and not make any endorsements as the “HCRP” Harris County Republican Party and the “HCDP” interject themselves into these nonpartisan runoff races.

The Harris County Republican Party has endorsed Kyle Scott in the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 2. In case you don’t remember, Kyle Scott received 25,416 votes, or 46.50%, to emerge from the general election in the first place.

The Harris County Democratic Party has endorsed Melissa Noriega in the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 2. Melissa Noriega received 13,647 votes, for 24.97%, to finish as the runner-up in the general election and force a runoff in this race.

In the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 3, the Harris County Republican Party has endorsed Ericka McCutcheon. In case you don’t remember, Ericka McCrutcheon received 22,365 votes, for 41.24%, to emerge from the general election in first place in this race.

The Harris County Democratic Party has endorsed Pelumi Adeleke in the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 3. Pelumi Adeleke received 11,553 votes, for 21.30%, to finish as the runner-up in the general election and force a runoff in this race.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

In the general election (Saturday, May 4, 2024), the Houston Business Connections Newspaper endorsed Kyle Scott and Ericka McCutcheon in their respective races. However, given how divisive and polarizing local politics have become, we are not endorsing any candidates this time.

On behalf of Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, the publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper, I would like to wish Kyle Scott (Republican), Melissa Noriega (Democrat), Ericka McCutcheon (Republican), and Pelumi Adeleke (Democrat) the best in their endeavor to win their respective races for HCAD, Director, At-Large, Place 2, and HCAD, Director, At-Large, Place 3, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Harris County, Texas.
