The Disenfranchisement of Black Voters is Being Perpetrated by People Like 'Crooked' Tarsha Jackson and Her Allies

“We've got some very corrupt politicians occupying elected offices and helping one another to cover up their wrongdoing right here in Harris County! Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson (right) was pictured with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (left) at the Bethany Baptist Church COVID-19 Testing site back on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Now, while Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was at Bethany Baptist Church taking pictures with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, her sister, Joanna Jackson-Arinza was over in Spring Texas loading up a UHAUL rental truck preparing to move all of her furniture and other belongings into Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson’s old house that she had abandoned because of my reporting. The home "CROOKED TARSHA JACKSON" abandoned is located at 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane. Now, most Houstonians don’t even realize that Mayor Sylvester Turner is involved in this clear cut case of voter disenfranchisement! Yes, it’s sad to say this, but most Black people don’t even realize that Mayor Sylvester Turner and his regime are the ones who are suppressing the votes of “BLACK” people right now! I know, tell me about it – its’ sad -- RIGHT? But unfortunately -- it’s true!!! However, that’s neither here, nor there at this point. Let’s just turn the page and do better going forward by identifying the bad politicians and voting them out of office in the 2022 Midterm Elections -- that would be a good start!!! That being said, we can’t continue to allow people like Mayor Sylvester Turner and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee to lull us to sleep with their fiery rhetoric and straight up lies anymore. I know, it’s hard to believe that Mayor Sylvester Turner would straight up lie and deceive his own people – but that’s exactly what he’s doing in the case of District B. Can you believe the hypocrisy that’s on full display for all of America to see right now? Get this, Mayor Sylvester Turner and several other local Black elected officials are claiming that Republicans are trying to stop Black folks from voting; but they are the ones who have disenfranchised thousands upon thousands of Black voters who live in Houston City Council District B – that’s a predominantly African American area of the City of Houston. And not only did these crooked politicians allow “CROOKED TARSHA JACKSON” to steal the District B seat, they’ve also allowed her to cover up her crime after the fact. Now, did you know that Tarsha Jackson (by her own admission) worked on the transition teams for Mayor Sylvester Turner and Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg? Do you think that’s why “CROOKED TARSHA JACKSON” has been allowed to break the law and get away with doing so? Do you think that’s why Mayor Sylvester Turner is pointing his finger at Republicans; but turning a blind eye to Tarsha Jackson’s lawlessness? Look, what Mayor Sylvester Turner is allowing “CROOKED TARSHA JACKSON” to get away with right now in Houston, Texas is straight up criminal in my opinion! And trust me when I tell you that I know a criminal when I am looking at one. How??? Through my more than 30 years of studying how criminals behave, and how crooked politicians steal elections in Texas -- that's how! Look, Mayor Sylvester Turner is fully aware of the fact that “CROOKED TARSHA JACKSON” broke the law when she illegally ran for Houston City Council District B back on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in the General Election. But, for those of you who might not know, Section 43.130 of the Texas Local Government Code says, “A resident of an area annexed for limited purposes is not eligible to be a candidate for or to be elected to a municipal office.”

Black People are Being Disenfranchised Right Now by Mayor Turner, and his Sidekick Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

What Mayor Sylvester Turner and the members of his regime are not telling you as they point their fingers at Republicans is that he, Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson and several other members of their regime have conspired together to disenfranchise Black voters. And they’re doing it right out in plain sight for all of America to see and witness for themselves!!! Look, truth be told, at this point, these “CROOKED POLITICIANS” don’t even feel like anyone can (or will) even do anything about “CROOKED COUNCILWOMAN TARSHA JACKSON” and the criminal act that she perpetrated against the people of District B back on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in the General Election. Yes, I said criminal act. And notice that I did not say ‘alleged’ criminal act that was committed by these people. But before I get to their criminal act, let me explain a few things, so that you have a clear understanding of what voter suppression and voter disenfranchisement actually means. Listen up, the term “VOTER SUPPRESSION” is being used right now by people like Mayor Sylvester Turner, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and other members of their regime to trigger thoughts of anger and to cause Blacks and other minorities in America to feel as though Republicans are trying to prevent them from voting – which is untrue. How is this untrue? Well, there’s a big difference between “VOTER SUPPRESSION” and “VOTER INTEGRITY” in a literal sense. So, please understand that voter suppression typically has a strategy attached to it, that’s designed to prevent a specific group of people from voting. So, please keep in mind that the voter suppression strategy, in past years involved intimidation tactics, like dogs being used to attack my people – that was flat out wrong and perpetrated by some very evil people. Other tactics included poll taxes, literacy test, and other stuff like that to deter Black people from exercising their right to vote. Now, if you ask me what “CROOKED CITY COUNCILWOMAN TARSHA JACKSON” just did in the Houston City Council District B race was the clearest case of disenfranchising of Black voters that I’ve ever seen in my more than 30 years working in media. She and her regime basically told thousands upon thousands of Houston City Council District B voters (many of whom happen to be Black people) that their voices did not matter when they nullified their votes by having “CROOKED TARSHA JACKSON” appear on the ballot illegally.

REAL VOTER DISENFRANCHISEMENT

Most people don’t even realize what the term “VOTER DISENFRANCHISEMENT” actually means. So, please understand that the term disenfranchisement is typically used to describe a practice where a group of people are stripped of their power in some sort of way, shape or form. And if you ask me, that’s exactly what Mayor Sylvester Turner, and “CROOKED COUNCILWOMAN TARSHA JACKSON” has done to the people of Houston City Council District B. These two crooked politicians (along with several other local elected officials) have conspired together to disenfranchise and deprive the people of Houston City Council District B of the right to have “LEGITIMATE REPRESENTATION” at Houston City Hall. How? Well, Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was never supposed to be allowed to even run for the Houston City Council District B seat in the first place. She ran for the seat illegally!!! Did you hear me? This “CROOKED TARSHA JACKSON” woman is illegally occupying the Houston City Council District B seat right now!!! Look, at the time that Tarsha Jackson signed up to run for the Houston City Council District B seat, she lived at 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane which made her ineligible to run for the seat. So, what she did was move to a new home in an effort to cover her tracks. But don’t take my word for it – just ask her if she was eligible at the time she ran for the seat!

TARSHA STOLE THE DISTRICT B SEAT

Make no mistake about it “CROOKED COUNCILWOMAN TARSHA JACKSON” stole the Houston City Council District B seat along with the help of local elected Democratic politicians. So, in effect these crooked politicians have seemingly gotten away with their crime. Listen up!!! Ignorance of the law is no excuse!!! But once Tarsha Jackson’s illegal criminal act was brought to the attention of local officials like Mayor Sylvester Turner, County Attorney Christian D. Menefee, and District Attorney Kim Ogg, rather than taking corrective action, they collectively decided that it’s okay for a fellow member of their regime to break the law. And not only have these crooked politicians turned a blind eye to Tarsha Jackson’s transgression of the law – several of them have assisted her in covering up her crime.

Are Democrats Like the Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee Trying to Help Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson Cover Her Tracks?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

It is unclear right at this point how much Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee knows about "CROOKED COUNCILWOMAN TARSHA JACKSON" and her criminal act.. However, it’s common knowledge that, if someone commits a crime and then tries to flee immediately after the crime, he/she was accused of committing -- the fact that the person fled is typically used against them. Why? Well, fleeing, after committing, or being accused of committing a criminal act may show that the person who fled, was aware of their guilt. So why did Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson flee from her home (homestead) and move way over to a home in Fifth Ward, after I published a report alleging that she occupying the Houston City Council District B office illegally? Well, you guessed it – because she now knows that she illegally ran for the District B seat – that’s why!

"Joanna Jackson-Arinza (left) is the full-blooded sister of Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson. Back on Saturday, January 30, 2021, while Tarsha Jackson was at Bethany Baptist Church, located at 7304 Homestead Road, with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, for a COVID-19, press conference, her sister, Joanna Jackson-Arinza and her family were busy moving into Tarsha Jackson's house in a blatant attempt to help Tarsha cover her tracks."

View a Segment of the Undercover Video Surveillance of Tarsha Jackson’s Sister, Joanna Jackson-Arinza Moving into Tarsha Jackson Old House located at 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane

If you take a moment to view the video provided above you will clearly see Tarsha Jackson’s sister (Joanna Jackson-Arinza), her husband and others moving their furniture and other belongings into the 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane location that Tarsha Jackson listed as her homestead, and used on her application to run for Houston City Council District B, as well as on her campaign finance report. The big question here is, “Why has Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson moved out of her homestead located at 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane to another home way over in Fifth Ward?”

"Councilmember Tarsha Jackson's voter registration card clearly showed that she was ineligible to run for the Houston City Council District B council seat -- that's why she has moved from 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane to another home located in Fifth Ward -- which is deep in the heart of the District B council district."

So, to be clear, Joanna Jackson-Arinza, moved from 2355 Turnbury Elm Court over in Spring Texas, into Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson’s homestead that she’s vacated (922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane) some time after my initial reports about her being ineligible to serve as the Houston City Council District B representative based on Section 43.130 of the Texas Local Government Code which says, “A resident of an area annexed for limited purposes is not eligible to be a candidate for or to be elected to a municipal office.”

In the photo above, Tarsha Jackson's niece walks out toward the street of the home located at 2355 Turnbury Elm Court over in Spring Texas, to talk to some unidentified person.

This is the home located at 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane that Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson has fled from. This home appeared to be empty prior to Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson's sister, Joanna Jackson-Arinza moving into it on Saturday, January 30, 2021 -- while Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was across town with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee at a press conference.

In the photo above, the UHAUL moving truck has arrived at the 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane location carrying the furniture and other household items that was placed on the truck at the 2355 Turnbury Elm Court location in Spring, Texas.

Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson is pictured above getting a COVID-19 test on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Bethany Baptist Church with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. However, while Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was across town with Congresswoman Lee, her sister, Joanna Jackson-Arinza was across town moving from Spring, Texas into the home on 922 Sawgrass Ridge Lane that Councilwoman Jackson recently fled from in what looks like an attempt to cover her tracks.

Does Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee Even Know That Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson is Involved in a Cover-up?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

“I’m sure that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has no idea what the hell Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was up to on Saturday, January 30, 2021. I’m very sure that Congresswoman Lee had no idea, that while Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was smiling in her face at Bethany Baptist Church for the COVID-19 testing event, that Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson and her sister, Joanna Jackson-Arinza were up to something no good. I wonder if Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is fully aware of the fact that Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was never eligible to even run for the Houston City Council District B seat because of Section 43.130 of the Texas Local Government Code. Ignorance of the law is no excuse Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson. And based on the law, a resident of an area annexed for limited purposes is not eligible to be a candidate for or to be elected to a municipal office. So, you are in direct violation of the law my sister. It would not be a bad idea for you to get your affairs in order and resign your position.”

"Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg is one of the local elected officials who has the power to file the Quo Warranto Lawsuit to have Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson removed from office. Do you see Kim Ogg back there standing behind Tarsha Jackson smiling? Well, back in 2016, (TOP) The Texas Organizing Project endorsed Kim Ogg and played a major role in helping her win the 2016 race for Harris County District Attorney. Back then, Tarsha Jackson was the Harris County director of TOP. And not only that, Tarsha Jackson, according to her own admission served on the transition team for Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, and Mayor Sylvester as well. Furthermore, for those of you who are unfamiliar with The Texas Organizing Project PAC (TOP PAC), it is the political arm of the Texas Organizing Project (TOP). And back in the 2020 Presidential Election, according to their website, TOP PAC ran the largest voter turnout program in the state in the 2020 general election that specifically targeted infrequent and low-income voters of color -- which could explain why no local Democratic elected officials are asking Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson to step down. TOP PAC, according to their website, for 24 days, canvassed, texted, and phoned District B voters to talk to them about their priorities for their district, and the commitment and experience Tarsha Jackson would bring to Houston City Council. And get this, heading into Election Day, their program made more than 25,000 knocks on doors, 93,000 phone calls, and 82,000 text messages, according to their own admission."

Section 43.130 of The Texas Local Government Code states the following, "A resident of an area annexed for limited purposes is not eligible to be a candidate for or to be elected to a municipal office." "I believe that Christian D. Menefee the newly elected Harris County Attorney is a good, decent and honorable young man who want's to do the right thing by the people of Harris County, Texas. In fact, he stated out of his own mouth these words, “I believe the most important duty of the Harris County Attorney’s Office is to protect the interests of the people of Harris County in the courts.” That's why I am so disappointed with how this young cat has allowed people like Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis to put a key in his back. Man!!! I am so disappointed in Christian D. Menefee -- I really liked this dude. And to see this up and coming young Democratic star turn a blind-eye to Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson's blatant disregard of the law is heartbreaking. Section 43.130 of The Texas Local Government Code is pretty clear when it says, "A resident of an area annexed for limited purposes is not eligible to be a candidate for or to be elected to a municipal office."

"I don't know what to say about Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg! I used to really like this woman. I always looked at her as being tough and courageous over the years. But it's heartbreaking to sit back and witness how she is selectively prosecuting political outsiders and giving political insiders a pass. But I truly believe that Kim want's to do the right thing for the people of Harris County, Texas. I don't believe that she's afraid of the Democratic Party bosses or anything like that, but something just isn't right. Look, in the case of Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson's eligibility, the law is pretty clear! Councilwoman Tarsha Jackson was never eligible to run for the Houston City Council District B seat in the first place. All any person living at the address she used on her application to run for the District B seat was eligible to do was vote for their councilperson -- not run for the office themselves. That being said, Kim Ogg stated out of her own mouth that, “Our democracy depends on keeping our elected officials safe from coercion and our elections free from illegal manipulation.” So, isn't running an "INELIGIBLE CANDIDATE" for the Houston City Council District B seat a form of illegal manipulation Madam D.A.?"

Nominating the Wrong Candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" Could Have Disastrous Consequences in the November 2022 General Election in Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.

THINKING ABOUT RUNNING?

If you are a candidate planning to run for office in 2022, you have to select the right candidate to run against. And the second most important thing to understand is that you have to select your race early, to avoid ending up in a crowded field of candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" in Harris County, Texas. So, if you need assistance trying to determine which race to enter, please call (281)788-3033, and I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have.
