Adrian's a Liability to Every Democrat Running Countywide on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Harris County, Texas

Commissioner Adrian Garcia is going to be a serious liability for the entire Democratic ticket in Harris County, Texas, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the midterm election. Why? Well, Adrian Garica is not the man that he used to be, back when he was on the Houston City Council, and severing as the Sheriff of Harris County, Texas. Truth be told, Adrian Garcia, at one time was a rising star. But these days, he can't even purchase an advertisement on FACEBOOK and not get attacked.

Former Federal Prosecutor Vidal Martinez is the only candidate left standing who has what it takes to defeat Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo. In my opinion, Martina Dixon could have unseated Lina as well, if she had made garnered the Republican nomination. Most of the Democratic nominees running for re-election in 2022 are newbies to politics. And I'm not trying to crack jokes or be funny. What many of the incumbents, especially the incumbent Democratic judges don't understand is that voter turnout decreases in midterm elections. Another important fact to remember is that the "POLITICAL PARTY" that takes control of the White House in a "PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION" thought history has gone on to suffer major losses in the following midterm election.

A LITTLE HISTORY LESSON

When President Barack Obama (Democrat) won the White House back in 2008, the Republicans roared back in the 2010 midterms in Harris County, Texas. Then in the 2012 Presidential Election, the Republican ticket featuring Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan received 43,270 absentee mail-ballot votes and 586,073 total votes for 49.31% of the vote. Comparatively speaking, the Democratic ticket featuring Barack Obama and Joe Biden only received 31,414 absentee mail-ballot votes and 587,044 total votes for 49.39% of the vote. That being said, neither party won 50% of the vote, and the difference between the Obama/Biden ticket and the Romney/Ryan ticket was only 971 votes.

A BATTLEGROUND COUNTY

Even though President Barack Obama won Harris County, Texas by a slim margin of 971 votes, many Democrats who were running countywide back during the 2012 Presidential Election did not win their down-ballot races. And in the following midterms in 2014, the Republicans swept right through Harris County, Texas. Now, all of that said, something very strange begin to happen in Harris County win Rodney Ellis left the legislature and took over the "PRECINCT ONE" seat after the untimely death of the late Commissioner El Franco Lee.

FACEBOOK ISN'T THE ANSWER

Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia are the ones running Harris County right now. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, from the time she got elected, has simply been doing what she's been told from the way things are looking. But there's a rude awakening about to happen for a lot of down-ballot candidates (especially judicial candidates) as a result of Adrian and Lina being present on the ballot on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the races for Harris County Commissioner for Precinct Two, and Harris County Judge.

You can clearly see in the post above, that most of the comments on Adrian Garcia's FACEBOOK POST, were negative. But what's interesting is that two of the comments referenced one of my reports about Adrian and Lina Hidalgo.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for us. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must make it our collective effort to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment in time."

Favoritism and Party Politics Have No Place Inside Our Harris County Courtrooms

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

At the end of the day, the judicial races are the most important races on the ballot. That said, who we allow to put on that black robe and occupy judicial benches (especially in Harris County, Texas) matters a great deal. Over the years, through straight-ticket voting, and folks going into the polls playing "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" we've allowed a few bad folks to slip through the cracks. Now, I'm not trying to play party politics in any way, shape, or form, with my words. All I'm trying to say is that nobody is perfect, but if we make it our goal to elevate people who fear God and have a backbone into positions of authority, every one of us will be afforded the opportunity to live our best life.
